Press Play Saturday - Enough with the hills!

How did everyone do? I started off not wanting to do it at all, then thought I'd just do CCPP with no extra challenge, and ended up doing the entire dang thing clocking in at just over 8 miles.

One request. Next month, could we PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE add on a sprint challenge? Pretty please with cherries on top?;)

Well Miss Shelley~I am just about ready to hit my treadmill so I'll post after. Great job....extra challenge and 8 miles:eek: I'll be lucky if I can get thru just PP without the challenge. Was up until 2:00AM waiting for DD to get home from the drive-in. It doesn't matter how old my kids get, I just can't seem to go to bed until I know they are home and safe.

I prefer sprints to hills also sooooo a sprint challenge is more enticing to me;)

I just completed CCPP + challenge, I didn't think I'd make it on that added challenge. I clocked in just over 7 miles. My glutes and hammies were t-i-r-e-d. It didn't help that I did my first KB workout yesterday and had DOMS there too!

I'm all for a non-hill challenge add on next month.

I just finished with the added challenge. I almost skipped over the extra challenge, but I couldn't do it because I would have all of you to answer to:eek:

I'm so freakin' sore from some glute work I did Thursday. Now I can barely walk!

Do, or not do, there is no try!!!!:D

OK...I'm done. Sorry guys but I skipped the extra challenge. My butt was dragging from too little sleep last night:(

Has anyone heard from Vrinda? I haven't seen her around since the website change. I wonder if she's having password problems. Hey Vrinda...if you are lurking, just wanted to say HI & hope all is well. I love hearing your name at the beginning of PP:D

Have a great day everyone!!

I am in for this, but it won't be today. DH has his 30th class reunion today and we are in the car for 4 hours, then on to that. I will make it tomorrow - will feel good after the 4 hour car ride back :)

After just doing V8 2 days ago with inclines set at my highest ever - I tackled on this new monster today CCPP w/ addon challenge from V5!

Dear lordy!! I'm with you Shelley. Next month no extra hills for goodness sakes! My legs are 'talking' big time to me for pushing them through so many hill climbs this week.

As always I love how CCPP makes me feel when I am done and I sorta get sad now when Coach mentions Kitty :( but the overall feel of this workout is so inspiring and positive.

Anyways just posting that I did play in today's CCPP day!

Looking forward 'till we do it again next month but NO Hills Please! --- I want some sprints, I'm craving sprints :p

I completely agree; next month's challenge better be a sprint. All those hills were killer.

Great job everyone! I love that we do this; it's such a positive way to connect. :)

Hi Press Play challengers. I attempted to do it yesterday, but my ipod was dead. so I tried to burn a quick CD to use and the file was no longer on on my computer. Well, I sent Sean an email and he qucikly sent me a new down load. Now I have it saved on disc, on itunes and in MyDocuments.
while I was waiting, I chose to do did Cardio Coach #7 because I did not expect Sean to help me out so quickly. And, No extra challenge for me, because I have a sore butt form The Art of Strength KB workout the day before.

Thank you for the monthly challenge. :):D

Today was my first ever CCPP and it was amazing! I had only ever done V1 before so didn't attempt to tackle the extra V5 challenge, but I'm still feeling super accomplished at having done so well. If there is such a thing as dancing on the treadmill during that energizing cooldown, I was doing it -- in fact, I did it twice and was singing along even though I had never heard the song before. What a great way to work out!

Hey everyone! Wow, what a workout!

Somehow, every time I do CC PP, I end up getting a lesson in life, along wtih a killer workout. I'm sorry if it sounds corny, but it's true. As Jim tells us, "you can change reality in one second, simply by making a choice." I have a certain little "reality" I'm going to change at work on Monday. :D

The workout itself was awesome! I did a pretty tough leg workout last night, so I was a bit sore. Not too bad... but oh wow, were my glutes talking to me by the end of CC PP. And then.... I did the Vol. 5 extra challenge. I loved it!

What is this about no more hill challenges????:( I love hills! I loved the Vol. 5 challenge! But oh well. I'll deal with the sprints if that's what you gals decide next month. :D

I'm with you NancyAZ

Today was my first CCPP ever. I started doing CC two weeks ago, and so far I've only done V1-5. I am still wondering how I did it but I didn't want to wait another month to try it. I am really new to this forum and really don't know anyody yet. I'm in love with CC. I have them all but PUMP and V6 with Candace (I think they don't sell it anymore).
By the way Vilma, thanks for your reply on my thread RE V6

Whew! All done. And if you know me at all, you know this is way past my bedtime! DH and DD picked my up after a killer day of work and took me on a picnic, so I didn't think I'd get time to do CCPP. A hail storm chased us home early, so I hopped on the stationary bike and pedaled in the dark. Sorry, no challenge for me this time, but thanks so much to Coach Sean for helping those of us without v5.

Good morning!

I'm doing PP today and I fully intend to add the challenge from V5.

Melissa, Shana, Ivory, and all those who are PPing today -- I'll see YOU in the workout! :D

^5s to a fellow CC newbie. I have V1-3 and now, of course PP. Even though I haven't done all of the ones I have yet, I'm sure I'll be buying the rest of the series, especially with the price cut.
