Prayer Request

Hello CatheNation.

My prayer request is to find sustainable employment, I am entering the 11th hour with my severence and I am uneasy. Granted, I will be able to collect unemployment after the first week in Jan. and I am working on finding a part-time position to offset but those jobs are hard to come by as well. My praise is that I have had these funds to keep my life somewhat normal although job hunting is a full time job in itself. I believe GOD has a purpose during this time in my life and my future employment, I am ready to move to the latter. With a mortgage and a student loan, the situation causes some anxiety.

I will add you to my prayer list. I know how hard it is to find a job period although part-time employment at this time of year it might be somewhat easier.

My daughter is 17 and finally found a part-time job at Game Stop after applying at over 100 places for more than a year. They said that she is "seasonal" but her boss likes her alot and she is doing a great job according to him so hopefully she will be able to become part-time permanently - God willing.

I am a big believer in everything happens for a reason, with our prayers I'm sure something good will come your way!

I am very sorry about your current employment situation. I am on a 1 income family, with my husband working and me taking care of our daughter. Somehow with a little faith and a positive outlook, everything will come together. I wish you lots of health and happiness.

Thank GOD for the new series, they have helped me get back into it after an extremely warm summer. Working out manages stress but gives me confidence as well. Thanks for the positive energy.
