Post your Accomplishments here...

I posted mine yesterday with PUB!
Anyone accomplish something yesterday, past week, past month, etc. in regards to Strength Training or Cardio? Please share!!!
Maybe we can all motivate each other!!! I would love to hear!!! Don't be shy!!!
Your turn!

Charlotte~~

YES!! Last night while doing the push-ups (first set) in Musclemax, I noticed that I'm getting a BICEP VEIN!!!! I dunno. Maybe others don't think that's great, but I'm so THRILLED!!!! I actually ran into the family room to show the SO. He played suitably impressed:)

I had a huge one this week! I did PUB on Sunday and this is my 4th time doing this video. Until Sunday, I hadn't been able to finish the bicep reps with 8/10/12 weights. I could do the hammers with the 12's but not the regular. Then I'd drop to 10's. Then I'd be so fried that I'd drop to 8's for the middle set and 5's for the last 12 reps of bicep curls.

On Sunday, I did the entire pyramid with the 8/10/12 with good form. I'm still sore, but I was jumping up and down and so happy!! After working with the Hardcores a few weeks, I've just had some visible strength and endurance gains and I'm loving it!

Shelley- I would love to have a Bicep Vein! Way to go!!!

Tammy- That is a huge accomplishment and working out the Biceps is never easy! You go girl!!

Charlotte~~

I did an authentic, valid, auditable pike during stability ball abs yesterday. My others have been pretty measley but I think I finally got it!

I haven't achieved pikes yet, but i am up tp 40 lbs for squats, i know longer do my "roadkill imitation" durring any cardio segments, and i have lost a total of 15 lbs, 8 inches since late December. I have also accomplished water only (aside from i c coffee in am) and the whole "no white flour" thing has been mastered. i never thought that would happen!!! Oh, i and i can do 7 push ups without a break:+

jes

cheers to the rest of you! You were tight Charlotte, this is motivating!

:7

Jes- LOL!!!:+ :+ :+ :+ Roadkill imitation? I am so proud of you though! A 15 pound weight loss is alot and your sure working it, girl! Push ups are hard too!!

Charlotte~~

jdoll...I looked at your photos. I love your dogs, we have a silver mini Schnauzer and she is a very good girl.

Jes,

That is so fabulous!

I actually gave up on pikes last year because I was getting so annoyed with myself for not getting it! I just got determined I could do them and it worked.

I have a 4-pack. (lol) I can't seem to get a six-pack due to my week lower ab muscles but I'm working on it!!

Wow, you guys are very inspirational! Charlotte - way to go! Shelley - NICE VEIN!! That would be awesome to have. And jes - you are doing so great! I'm not anywhere near mastering the pike thing yet.

My accomplishment sounds kinda lame next to all yours but I was proud of myself this morning - in the past I only did the Imax 2 premixes but this morning I did the WHOLE thing. And that is after staying up last night to do Step, Jump, and Pump.....which was the first time doing THAT workout in it's entirety, also. I've done the Timesaver portion of it but HOLY CRAP that whole workout is TOUGH!!!!

Great work, ladies.:) Your motivation in turn motivates me.

I was surprised to do ALL bench presses (regular and incline) in S&H chest with 20's, and all flyes with 16.25's. (A long time ago I bought 1.25-lb. plates and glued big pot magnets to them so I can slowly add weights to my 12's and 15's. Big jump for 12 to 15, and from 15 to 20...)

I also used a 25 for db rows for the first set and a 20 for the next two, but I did it one arm at a time to protect my back. Took longer... Also got to use 25 lbs. for pullovers, but I used a barbell to keep my grip stable.

Needless to say, I've increased my weights for almost all the exercises in S&H, which I've always avoided using because it's so hard to get up in weights with this workout. I've always had to cut down my heaviest weight by half or three-quarters. I can't wait to use PS to see how much more weight I can manage.:)

Great work everyone! Wow, it's nice to hear what "we" accomplish.
For me, I am able to do all the planks in evey w/o that includes them. I may tremble a bit, but I can finsh. It took me a while to build up to that.

Nothing should be jiggling, unless it's jiggling off. - Cathe in HSC

This is a GREAT post!!

Shelley: Congrats on the bicep vein!! that is cool!!!

Tammy: Great job The pyramind workouts are really hard!!

Candi: Wahooo a PIKE!! that is a great feeling isn't it???

Jes: 8 INCHES and 15 lbs!!! WOW!! That is incredible!! The white flour thing is VERY hard! That is incredible!! You have something to be proud of!

Lois: A 4 pack is GREAT!! the six pack will come in time..the top part of the abs always shows up first..the rest will come in time!!

Angie: That is a great sucess!! IMax 2 is hard...getting through the whole workout is for the first time is great! congrats!!!

Pinky: that is great that yo have increased your weights, your gaining strength and that as great!! You will be the next body building champ before we know it!! Great job!

My accomplishments are:
I can do the first 10 pushups on all the push up sets on my toes, before going to my knees( P90X workout).

I can see my 6 pack, and a tear drops in my thighs.. and my hamstrings are starting to show themselves. YEAH!

I am using 20 lb weights for almost all exercise with P90X, and I need to increase my weights, as I can do a lot of reps with 20's.

I can do 1 reverse grip chin up!! YEAH!!

I am way more flexible than I have ever been in my life!! the P90X Yoga is doing wonders for me in the flexibility dept..

:) ;-) :D :p :9 :7 ;)

WOW, you ladies are all so inspirational! I have been getting lazy lately with recording my weights and such so I am going to STOP THAT RIGHT NOW! I'll never keep making gains if I am not methodical...

My big Cathe accomplishment: since starting Cathe workouts and clean eating (mostly I cut out sugar) in January, I have lost 10 pounds. I WAS a very tight 8 and I am now a svelte 4. The coolest thing is my body feels SO HARD everywhere, even if I don't have a lot of noticeable definition yet. (Ok, except when I flex and my 13 year old told me this is getting way too embarrassing for him, lol.)

Cheers,
Marie

Well, ya know Marie, if it's too embarrassing for him, you know you have to do it MORE!!! }(

Congrats on losing 10 pounds and 2 sizes! That's awesome!

Angie :)
