Just wondering does anyone else get REALLY TIRED before their period?? I'm so tired this week....I'm struggling to get my workouts done! Curious...what secret others do, to push themselves thru this???
thanks...
Alicia:)

There are days when an eight-hour work day is just about all I can manage. On those days, the workouts just don't happen. Or, I do something like yoga, or "easier" workouts (usually weights only), that I feel I can manage.

Alicia-
I too feel the fatigue w/ PMS. For years I "pushed thru it" and never had success dealing w/ fatigue, wt gain & cravings. I read on these boards a year ago that someone did not push herself and felt that it helped all symptoms... I started doing CTX or Timesavers as my cardio on those days and viola' - cravings lessened, fatigue was not so intense and my crankiness was less. So yes- test it out and see how your body responds to a little less intensity.

Thanks for your suggestions....I think I'll try some of the "easier" workouts. I have a feeling nothing will seem too easy to me. I just really want to get some good workouts in this week, esp. before Christmas and all the good food I'll be eating at my Italian mother's house! The food is endless!
Thanks.
Alicia;-)

Alicia,
I do get fatigued, some months more so than others. For me, it is the week before when I am low on energy. I just try to plow through my workout and usually feel better afterward. But I have to agree, it is usually at a lesser intensity.

There are some days that I simply go to bed at 6 pm. No joke. I was actually beginning to be concerned about it, but it hasn't happened this month, anyway. Usually I can get up to exercise:eek:
