Please say a prayer for my kitten

My 8 month old kitten ran out last night and I haven't seen her since. I am so afraid that she will never return. There are tons of parking lots and streets right near me with cars driving around all the time. Please say a prayer for her to arrive home safely.

Oh no, I'm so sorry. One of my cats did that once, and we found him hiding under our deck the next morning. Do you have any hiding spots around the house to check out?

I hope your little kitty comes home safely. Prayers your way.

(((hugs)))

Prayers for your kitten's safe return. Get those lost pictures and notices up. If you live in a small town call your local dispatch. Alert all your neighbors and check all their sheds, garages. beneath porches. Many times cats get shut in these places. Also is she spayed? Female cats can go into heat at a very young age. You can also try putting out a humane trap in case she comes by when you are not available. Set it up with some tuna fish. Also check with local shelters--you will probably have to go to them and look. Also I would call all the local vets and see if someone has found a kitten. That happened with one of our cats and yes someone had called the vets and then kept her until we went and picked her up. I visit a site for siamese and someone there just found her cat after 24 days. He was living in a local storm drain!

Jasmin,
I'm sorry to hear this! Any news yet?? I'm sure all of us cat lovers, or animal lovers in general, can totally sympathize with your worry right now!! I'll be keeping you and your little kitty in prayer until his safe return!

I agree with another poster who said to put some lost kitty signs up. Maybe you can leave some food out too.

Any sign of her? I had that happen to a cat once when a screen was loose and she must have fallen out of it. I did up posters and took them all over the neighborhood and then found her the next morning under a bush next to the house. I sure hope yours turns up real soon. But, do alert everyone you can possibly think of.

Still no sign of her and its been over 24 hours. I called the spca and am about the call the local vets, then I will try to get posters made. I am beside myself and keep crying this morning as I think she will never come back. She just was ALWAYS trying to get outside. I will keep you updated.

Prayers, hugs, and good kitty vibes to your baby to help find her way home. Contact animal control, shelters and vets (sounds like you have already started on that) and put as many signs up as possible. Does she have a collar with a tag? Also, put something outside your door that has her smell and something that has yours. All the best to you both -

I'm totally not a cat person, but I have two dogs and would be devastated if either one got lost. I do hope that you find your kitty and that she is safe.

Here's some vibes coming your way, hoping for your kitties safe return.

Have you been calling for her? (here kitty, kitty, kitty!)

(When I first moved into my house, I had 3 cats, one of whom had been an outdoor cat hanging around my old apartment whom I'd adopted. I kept Tina inside for the first 2 weeks, then let her go out for a little while. She disappeared. I tried to find her for 3 days, looking at the old apartment (5 blocks away), going door to door.

Then on the third day, I paid a bit more attention to this kind of woodsy area a block away (which has since had many trees removed by the owner) that would tempt me if I were a cat. I walked down to it, and started calling Tina. Then I heard a meow. Then I saw a small, fast, furry black streak running across the front of the woodsy area. She was there, but not coming closer, more like shadowing my walk at a distance, as if she were asking me to come join her in that cool woods rather than coming to me. I kept calling her and walking towards home, and she finally followed me.

Also, when I was a kid, our cat Tiger ran off and was gone for a couple of months. We thought it was the end of him, but one day, there was a frantic scratching at the back door. We opened it, and Tiger came running in, then went straight to the basement. He didn't seem any worse for wear, but must have decided 'there's no place like home'!
