HELP!!! My credit card is on fire!!!!! Will this ever end? I know, I know, I'm gonna have to get the Body Blast series next, and then CTX and on and on and on!!!!

Not to mention, now I need a new tv so that I can hook up my dvd player in the basement...$$$$$$$$$...LOL...oh, and a medicine ball...

BUT, I AM HAVING SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

NOT TO WORRY!! It'll end when you have them ALL!! Then you just preorder from then on out.

Do you have enough dumbbells - cause you're going to get stronger...do you have a stability ball...you already mentioned the medicine ball (that's a must have!). What about wieght gloves and a high step?

WELCOME TO THE PARTY!!!! :) :)

You need to let this disease run its course. Once all workouts have been ordered, the symptoms will disappear. You will be left with a burning feeling in your wallet and flareups will occur when new workouts are developed. Interestingly, many with this disease also develop lower blood pressure, increased cardiovascular endurance, stronger bones and a better physique.

Okay, I may have to print out this reasoning to show my husband when the credit card bill comes...LOL!!!

A differential diagnosis -

Cathe Fever is in fact a chronic condition, of which credit card mania is only one symptom. Other symptoms include Rotationism, muscle-pump-n-cut, healthier appetite and eating habits, and an insatiable desire for new and greater physical challenges.

It should also be noted that Cathe Fever is contagious. You will feel the irresistible urge to tell all your friends about Cathe, and they in turn with catch it, and the cycle will continue. You will also feel the irresistible urge to participate in these forums and share what you've learned with others, and encourage their Fevers as well.

Just thought I'd warn ya -

Oldfirmie-

It IS so much fun!! I love the control. Knowing that you can work out any time you want to and do any workout you feel like doing at whatever intensity you are in the mood for. There's nothing in the world quite like working out at home with your Cathe workouts. My cyclist husband is always worrying about the weather, and my friends who take classes at the gym are slaves to the instructors schedule. We Catheites have so much more control over our own fitness!

You might want to consider spending your $ on the stability ball before the medicine ball. I think the medicine ball is more optional, because it can usually be replaced with a dumbbell. But the stability ball has really become a staple of many of Cathe's workouts. Just a suggestion.

Enjoy!! :D

if you need more equipment, be sure to check out your local goodwill store(s)/thrift stores for stuff. sometimes they will have weights or what-not. REALLY cheap! Also check ebay for things like step, etc. you never know what kind of deal you can find.

I can sooo relate! You are definitely hooked and it never goes away! I keep wondering what NEW equipment Cathe will come up with next. I don't hesitate buying it either because I know I will USE it. Never had a Cathe tape I didn't like! WELCOME to the Addicts Club!http://www.mega-content.de/smilies/smilies_Picture/liebe/17.gif[/img]

The first step is admitting you have a problem! tee hee

I have seen my husband reading the Cathe catalog while eating breakfast. He said I can order whatever I want! He is so sweet.

I think I am finally content with my workout purchases. Just got HSTA and High Step platform with one riser, along with a few new cardio dvd's from Collage. Nothing else peaks my interest. I told my husband I'm done for awhile. Of course he just looked at me and rolled his eyes, and then said, "Yeah right, for this month anyways!" Today, I saw a deal at Target on workout bras and shorts. 2 for $11. Cute styles, who could resist? :7 But the credit card will go into hiding for awhile.

Hah, Hah, Hah, we have you now my deerie and you will never get away!!

Guess if you (me and including a bunch of us here - obviously) have to have an addiction...at least its a good one }(

LOL...too funny!

Anyway, someone on the DVD board (Mrsscififanec) posted a new post about how if you have a really old tv (which I do) you can buy this RF modulator gizmo to hook up your DVD player to it!!!!

So, I feel so much better about my late nite purchase binge of the intensity series with the terminator because now I don't have to buy a new TV!!!
(I can rationallize just about anything)!!!!!!

Now, how long before the family notices that the DVD in the family room is missing......}(

Hee Hee Hee!! This happened to me in july when I discovered Cathe. $$$$$ on videos, equipment. But it has been well worth it. Just be glad it's a healthy addiction. ;)

Hi, I know your pain...LOL. I have been afflicted too!

Just take heart in knowing that you are among the MANY who have the exact same situation.

Enjoy!

You mentioned you ordered VHS. If you haven't gone DVD yet, you'll have to order a DVD player and then convert your VHS. And then the fun begins because you have mix and matches, pre-mixes, workout blenders and perhaps, in the end stages, you'll need a 5 disc player so you can mix and match from among all your DVD's. Fortunately, the disease is not fatal. It, in fact, leads to a longer and more beautiful life. The only fatality may be your credit card! :)

with your one wild and precious life?

Oh Bobbi how true! My credit card is currently dead & buried.

However, like the Phoenix, I'm sure it will rise up & live again! Coincidentally (of course), I predict it will happen when the NEXT pre-sale begins.

Actually, Oldfirmie and others should leap right into late-stage Cathaholism and get the 5-disc player without d*cking around with a single-disc player. In fact, at least one gizmo manufacturer is marketing a SIX-DISC changer.

DVDs really are da bomb for Cathaholics.
