I am not sure what happend, but I had trouble login in with my old username! I am no longer bayerngirl! How do I change my username?

What exactly was the trouble ? When you try to login under your old name it asks you to have your password emailed to you. Then once you get the email you login using that new password and then you can edit your profile and change your password if you want.

Hi!

It didn't ask me anything! I couldn't log on with my old username! I emailed Chris and they gave me a new username! I did change my password right a way, but I want my old username: bayerngirl not belindazg!

That kinda s**cks. Especially since now you're listed as a junior member too (which at first when I saw I was a senior member I thought no, I'm not a senior yet by a long shot!)

Had to change my user name too

Belinda,

Since you are considered a jr. member and have to start all over again anyway, why don't you create a new user with Bayern Girl as the user name (two words instead of one).

I forgot to check my profile before the forum move and see that I had a defunct email address listed (so they could not email me my new password). I just created a new user as library girl instead of librarygirl and here I am!

I don't know if it will work or not since it sounds like you might be the system twice. Good luck. Hope you recover your bayerngirl status.

Hi Jean! I didn't forget my password! It will not take my old (bayerngirl) username! They sent my an new username and password! I am going nuts here! I don't get it?

Belinda, here's what I did. I put in my user name from the previous forum and just typed in the old password even though it doesn't work. It tells you that password is not valid and if you click on the link to send you a new password (or remind you of your old password, I can't remember the exact wording), you will get an email with the new password and you can use your old username.

I did put in my old user name and password ! I got an email with a new username and password!

Gives Belinda a big ol hug- I hope the staff will eventually figure it out for you.

Sorry you are dealing with this on the 1st day w/ the new forum. I would be upset too.

I guess until all the bugs are dealt with we'll be dealing with different growing pains here :(

Hi lala1! I couldn't change my old email to my new one on the old "user menu" forum! Mine for what ever reason didn't let me change it!

I know. I am librarygirl and library girl. I can't log in under librarygirl because the email I had listed on the old forum is not there anymore. I decided it would just be easier to be a new user "library girl" than try to access the new forums under the old user name.
