I can not lose some weight I have managed to acquire over the past year. 6-9 pounds to be exact. I have done the math but the weight is not budging. I eat pretty clean.
I had my metabolism tested I burn 1250 cal doing nothing. I sit all day at a desk so I add 375 to that = 1625/day x 7 days= 11375 per week.
So, I add my calories up for the week then for example last week I consumed 10090 cal therefore I had a deficit of 1285cal. Then I add my workout calories to that deficit = 3085 was the total cal I was lacking therefore I should have lost 1/2 pound.
Does this make sense? If so, why am I not losing when I clearly take in less calories than I consume?
Please help, I am so frustrated.
