Pink Step

Wonderful idea and an even better cause!!! I haven't known anyone yet (thank goodness) with breast cancer, but have friends and family w/ other cancers and any support anywhere is more than welcome. Yay for you!!

I was going to purchase it, but I see that it's only 11 in. x 25 in., whereas the regular, original step is 14 in. x 40 in. That stinks. I've been wanting an original step for some time now, and this would have been my excuse to buy one.

I would purchase the pink step for my daughter and to support the Susan B Komen foundation. This would make a great Christmas present and she can leave my step alone. LOL

I wonder if Cathe will be selling this pink step in Target or Walmart?

Hi All! Yes, this pink step is the smaller home version step, NOT the Original Health Club Step size. We will begin selling it sometime in October (we'll let you know when as soon we find out), but other than that, I'm not exactly sure where it is going to be selling just yet. My best guess right now is that it will be available in the same stores that are currently carrying the home exercise step in the non-pink version.

Take Care!

Cathe - Is there a way to just make a donation to this foundation without purchasing the step??? GREAT idea though!!!

Oh, yes. I'd buy a pink high step. I wish the pink one were the full size one. I just don't use the smaller step.

I'd LOVE to buy a pink regular size step! So looking forward to seeing this one out since my old turquoise step is 100 years old and the rubber is starting to peel off.

What is the difference in size really? Does it mean a less intense workout if you use the smaller step? Just wondering. Cathe uses a smaller step in the Low Impact Step DVD doesn't she? Is that big of deal? Thanks!

Some of the moves are harder to do on a smaller step. V steps, horseshoes, skip across the board, pendulum repeaters, etc, etc. You'll get a better workout if you open up the movements and use the larger board.

That being said, I have a small step that works great in my tiny living room. I don't think I could use a bigger step where I am, but if I had the room, I'd want to try the big one.

I was going to buy it until I read the dimensions.

Now I am on the fence about it.

It's for a good cause and I love pink and a smaller step is better for some of my space.

I used a smaller step for years with great cardio results.

I would prefer the Original Health Club Step and the High Step in pink, but this is still for a good cause!
