Pentagenarians & Beyond: W/B 8/15

Today I did To The Max, the less impact premix. My time was 44 minutes with 244 calories burned. Average heart rate was 124 and maximum heart rate was 158. The core segment of To the Max is combined with upper body work. My new Cathe workouts and bands arrived today! I haven’t had a chance to open them yet but I’m looking forward to doing that.

Valerie, nice 28 mile road ride. I am doing more reading than watching television programs which is not uncommon for me. I‘m usually reading something even while watching television.

Today I did Coffey Fit Raw RIpped and Ride January 2020 using the tread climber and light weights that they used at 5 and 10# dumbbells. I subbed other moves for overhead and lateral raise to pec dec move hurt my shoulder so I did biceps. This was 35 minutes, heart rate 131/158, 181 calories, 2,116 steps. I then did CDorner Cardio Kickboxing dance mish mosh, 32 minutes, heart rate 146/172, 196 calories, 3,643 steps. I also did CDorner 20 minutes quick mobility, 86/208 40 calories. This one does some foot focus that I always forget I get toe cramps doing. Total time 87 minutes, 417 calories, 5,759 steps. We just came back from Billy Sims BBQ and I got a baked potato. They are so big, I just cannot eat the whole thing.

Judy, thanks for the heads up on the Coffey Fit Roku app. I was just telling my husband I was going to take the other firestick that he does not use except for Sooner Sports which I think is now on Roku. I only have the Roku in my second workout room space with the spin bike, heavy bag, and tread climber. The all in one computer in that room that is touch screen is rather time consuming getting going and loaded up with what I want. It would not play one of the Ripped and Ride workouts that had heavy bag work and spin. I could get it on fire tv though. I do not know why that is.

Carolyn, I am supposed to receive the Boss Band Total Body and bands tomorrow. I downloaded the download yesterday and think I will like that one. I would have went back and ordered the Loop Band workout too if I could have got it without the bands. I already have a set of fabric loop bands I bought for CDorner workouts. I watched a lot of the download last night. That was always a favorite premix for me on To the Max.
 
I’m taking a rest day today. Daughter number 3 is arriving tomorrow and I am doing some cleaning and food preparation.

Today I did CDorner Fun Step Workout from this morning, 74 minutes(64 actual as I started moving because she was talking and had to pause a couple of times), 300 calories, 5,107 steps. I got the Boss Band s and Total Body workout before I was finished so did the Core Focus timesaver #5 23 minutes, 84 calories, heart rate 109/138, 376 steps. This really hit a bit of most of the body which she says most of it is core as well, and she adds like 3 core moves to the end which were on the floor. I liked what I did. She does show a sub if you have should problems so that was good. I finished with doing the CDorner upper back portion of hips and upper back foam roller since I did not do that one yesterday.

Carolyn, enjoy your rest day and time with Daughter number 3. I always like to have as much done as possible when family comes over so I can visit with them.
