Today I did Cathe Live Warrior Boot camp, this was listed under low impact, but is definitely not low impact, there are jacks, jump turns, etc. , Cathe shows a lower impact version in a couple of spots. Workout was 49 minutes, 2,182 steps, heart rate average 111, max 143, met 5.8, 318 calories.
Deb, that is great that you will be there for the ride in New York. I remember Josie's rides and pictures. I saw the high step live workout, but I don't think that my knee is read for that. I stopped for a moment and almost didn't do the Warrior Boot camp this morning when I saw that they were using the step with 3 risers and near the start she picked up 15# for some up on the step leg lifts. I wasn't sure my knee would tolerate it. I went back and looked and they have this under low impact so I went back and did it anyway. I just modified a bit. As stated above, it is not really low impact. I checked for Kelly's new Tabata she filmed, but didn't see it up yet.
I don't think most doctors are real happy with patients that research a lot. It seems I can see the look cross their face like, "great, another one that thinks they know things". Also I know my daughter has said she wished her patients didn't go to the internet to try to figure out what is wrong. She has had some that tried to use essential oils to heal what is a skin cancer and then she had to cut it out and tell them it may have been too late because they didn't listen. Still, I like to know what they are talking about when I get there. I think some places are more accurate places to look than others. If there is a pill or device or something being sold at the bottom of the page, I instantly mark them as more into what they are saying just to make money.
It seems they could have at least told you if they thought there was a possibility that it was bursitis. Maybe the physical therapist can address that a bit?
Judy, I used to do all three core max ab workout at one time
For some reason, I have no desire to do that anymore .
Valerie, I remember getting the non smoking area of a hotel and someone would have guests in their rooms next to us smoking anyway. We had friends that used to take an ionic breeze to their hotel rooms to help clear the air. I think if we worked on good health choices insurance would not have to be so high. Everything seems to have some sort of domino effect. People will pay the high price for the cigarettes and tax before they will put good food on the table for their kids. Or use beg for funds for family stuff and buy their cigarettes. It is ridiculous. Yes, I would like to see them taxed right out of business. I see people all of the time with their cell phones still using them when driving. I have seen them with a phone to their ear and a cigarette in the other hand driving.
Carolyn, I have not done the Pyramid workouts in a long time. I love figs too. My parents had a fig tree at one of their houses. I use them in some of the paleo recipes that I make as a sweetener. Most of the time I get Turkish figs from Sprouts, I don't like them as well as regular ones though. I think it is the texture.
