Pentagenarians & Beyond: W/B 6/14

This morning I did Coffey Fit Raw Cardio Tone, 33 minutes, heart rate 125/171, 143 calories, 2,561 steps. I then did Cardio Overload 2 wearing my 4 # vest, 35 minutes, heart rate 143/212 (Fitbit went off track for a little bit as I watched it pick up and drop back down and was not working as hard as the high on either workout) 216 calories, 3,173 steps. I finished off with Lindsey Samper safe stretches #4, 19 minutes, 18 calories. Total time was 87 minutes, 5,734 steps, 377 calories. I did Lindsey Samper workout 11 last night before going to bed. This was at midnight, but much needed.
I was looking at my calendar and I think I am changing some appointments. I don't know why they have me set for a heart CT to check those nodules they found the last time, at 8:30 am and to see the pulmonologist at 11:00. That is a long time of hanging out in the heart hospital. I think I will see if I can make these on separate days. My husband said just come home and go back, but parking is not good, traffic in the area is not good, and the hospital is like a maze a person could get lost in without help. I don't want to leave and go back the same day. Plus a few days later I have a follow up with the eye doctor.

Cathy, my family is all in Oklahoma city or surrounding area. My older set of 5 grandchildren are your son's ages. The second group of 3 are 5, 8, and 12. I am sort of retired as I did daycare for years and the did daycare for my grandchildren, taking them to and from schools and back to my house till more recent years. I still pick up sometimes, but not on a set schedule anymore. With the Covid it seemed forever before we were able to have a family get together, but now we are sort of back to normal. It looks like you are doing well with your workouts. It is best on some moves to make them what works for you. We all have our issues. I have heard that the one leg deadlift lifting the leg behind is actually good for low back pain. Go figure. Probably as long as we aren't lifting heavy weight at the same time. I always felt like the worst part of wallpapering was removing the old and prepping and making sure the surface was smooth and ready to apply the new wallpaper. I have not done it in years myself.

Deb, I really am lucky that I have family that can help with a lot of things. My son learned a lot from my husband and built on it. He makes decisions for 7 eleven on flooring and repairs and purchases. That is why I went with what he said on the tile as we had purchased luxury vinyl and he said it does not hold up in the long term in places where there is dampness and water getting on the floor. So, we took it back and got porcelain. I am hoping this tile is better than the ceramic tile we purchased for the kitchen. I have a bottle of ceramic acrylic in a grey color that is gloss to touch up chips as I have dropped eating utensils from the dishwasher and I don't know what else has caused chips, but it makes me irritated. He has a tile cutter and tools and does an meticulous job. Once the grout cures another day I will put the sealant on and my husband will put the molding on and the new toilet in. My husband did carpentry and worked for a remodeling company before he worked at the Police Department.

Valerie, that is great that you had some weight loss. You are always so active all of the time. We had a house once that the wallpaper did not want to stay stuck on the wall, but it had a shower in it and not good ventilation. We could use some rain right now. I have started going out and spraying some water on the grass in the evenings and in the morning. What grass I have in back is dying off. I did not seed this year.

Carolyn, I was contemplating Low Impact Step Challenge today, but really did not want to do too much step after yesterdays strength work. The Raw cardio overload does use a step a little, but most is like one foot on the step and some boxing , and a lot is done on the floor. Kelly says you can do it on the floor. Maybe I will do it tomorrow. That is great the mammogram results were good.

Lori, I don't walk Gertie enough. She gets so excited at first, but will settle down after a little while. Unless she spots another dog or animal. Usually a no and jerk on the leash will settle her, although I hate having to stop and make her sit till she is ready to get back to walking after an encounter. We had an English bulldog that loved to eat the water. We could not put a sprinkler out without her attacking it. She even got out of the yard and went for the neighbor's sprinkler. The grout is done, but I will be glad when the toilet is back. I had to make 3 trips downstairs for bathroom breaks today. I guess I shouldn't have drank two cups of coffee and a hydrating drink before I started LOL. I got extra floors and steps! I am sure it is a relief making the decision not to go back to a job you were dreading. My brother recently relocated from Nebraska to Florida to help his mother in law who is not doing well. He got a job right away their driving a truck and hauling for a company.

Hi Everyone,

Today I did PHA 2 (one of my favorites too, Cathy!) and a 30 minute Peloton ride.

Deb-Nice job with the Cardio Coach workout! We planted SunPatiens this year. I'll post a photo. We also added another dwarf Burning Bush.

Valerie-Congrats on the weight loss and being so close to your goal! That is awesome!

Carolyn- That is great news about your exam! Nice job with Strong & Sweaty Bootcamp!

Cathy-I have also dealt with low back issues. I was really having problems in 2014-2015 but after doing physical therapy and regular Yin Yoga for a few years, my low back has improved quite a bit.

Lori-That sounds like it will be a good move for you and Bob. Where will you be in Florida? I'm sure you will love living there!

Diane Sue-Nice workouts this week! I don't blame you for changing those appointments. That does sound like too much time to spend waiting around at the hospital.

Judy

Good morning,

Monday 's step count: 10,911, yesterday I did LITE Stacked Sets Lower Body, 41 minutes, 271 calories, with 10,640 steps. No workout today...waiting to hear from the vet...IKE is vomited bile with blood, and has bloody stools again....:(.

Carolyn, Great news on the test and good job on S&S BootCamp and Low Impact Challenge. Is LIC a step workout?

Valerie, Congrats on the weight loss. Yes, we have had the wisteria actually bring down a trellis. This one is nailed to the garage wall and so far so good, We usually limit how big it can get, but this year it got away from us and we don't want to cut it while it is blooming. That sucks on the wall paper coming off. We only had 2 rooms with wall paper, out front hall ( we stripped it 2 years ago and painted)...and our half bath downstairs still has it. Once that is gone we will NEVER wall paper again.

Cathy, nice job on PHA 2. Those are great workouts! I also have to be careful with deadlifts. They were the cause of a herniated disk that I had surgery on in 2001.

Lori, I bet you feel so much better now that you have made the decision not to return to your job. I can see why you would want to relocate, especially with Bob's parents being there and if you have job connections, it will make it a smoother move. I remember all those great walks with Chester. He used to swim as well right? Sometimes it takes a while for dogs to stop all that pulling etc. We still have a hard time with IKE.

Diane Sue, it sounds like your bathroom will be done in no time!

Hi to Judy & Christina

Take care,

Deb hope Ike is OK. is it a vet trip today?
wisteria is common here but with the mild growing season, plants can get humongous. need aggressive pruning or the trellis and whatever wall its attached to can be destroyed. I have some clematis and other climbing vines. not the gorgeous lavender color though.

we are all so different. I HATE florida. absolutely hate it, used to dread flying there. the heat and humidity destroys me. hair frizzes, ski breaks out, no energy to do anything but lie in front of the air conditioner! we always had sales meetings there, I hated every second. clearly a lot of people love it or it wouldn't be growing like it is. Lori, you've been there a lot so you know what you like, and it sounds like your job is no reason to stay where you are. so plunge ahead!

thanks you for the "atta girls" . I have not been my current weight in probably 30 years. close a few times, but lost focus and went back up a few pounds. I never gain that much, but I never lose it either. I will re evaluate when I get to goal. maybe I will set another goal. we'll see. I didn't have that much to lose but it doesn't want to "leave the area" readily.... this is long term fat, not the result of a binge that drops off easily. I want to be slimmer. I'm not overweight by charts so no great urgency, but I want it. I don't look like I've lost muscle mass so if I can maintain reasonably at less weight, I want to. once you are older... people give you a free pass to be too fat and unfit.

we did a serious garden day yesterday and I am SORE. a lot of bending, raking, crawling, hefting baskets of weeds. a lot of repetitive motion. one more day and we should be pretty well caught up. this is the downside of being gone for 2 weeks. its been a wet spring and the slugs have been horrendous.

Hi all -- Today I am resting (I still take at least one full day between workouts at this point), but yesterday I did Circuit Crush and a Zoom yoga workout. I am sore today!

Cathy - I am new to this group too and just getting back into serious fitness! I love PHA2; the time seems to fly by.

Labnick - I truly understand the craziness of moving right now, but it sounds like it is going to be a really positive transition. You have been through a lot, and I hope that Florida is a new and happier chapter in your life. I wish you a smooth, safe, peaceful move!

Carolyn - I am so glad to hear that your mammogram results were good. That is wonderful news and such a relief I am sure.

Traildoggie - Your vacation and hiking sounded glorious. Sorry to hear about the wallpaper; that must have been discouraging. I wonder if you can get your money back?

Diane - Your workouts are amazing! That Box and Sculpt sounds like it might be a good fit for my current fitness level - I will have to take a look. I have never done a Coffeyfit workout, but variety always keeps me motivated :)

Deb - That wisteria is stunning! We had one that grew up an arbor at our old home, and I always used to tell people that ours was the "little gray house with the wisteria arbor." Every time it bloomed, I knew spring had truly arrived.

Hi to everyone I missed - I am still learning everyone's names! Have a wonderful day --

Christina

Today I did Kelly Coffey Meyer (KCM) Cardio Quick Fix workout one. That was 25 minutes and 186 calories burned. My average heart rate was 130 and maximum heart rate was 145. I also did Element Beginner Yoga with Alanna Zabel, Flexibility practice. That was an additional 23 minutes and 36 calories burned.

Cathy, great job with PHA 2. That’s my favorite of the PHA workouts also. I had a period of not working out in 2015 before I retired. I only worked out three times the whole year! It took a while for me to get back into a routine and to build up my strength.

Lori, you must be relieved to have the decision made about your job. Moving to Florida to be closer to family will be good.

Diane Sue, nice work with Coffeyfit Raw Cardio Tone and Cardio Overload. I would reschedule one of those medical appointments too. It’s always hard to wait around in a medical center and you really don’t want to be there any longer than necessary.

Deb, great job with LiTE Stacked Sets Lower Body and getting over 10,000 steps. I’m sorry that Ike is having problems again. Low Impact Challenge is a step workout from the Low Impact Series.

Christina, listening to your body and taking a rest day is very important.

Valerie, I’m glad that you are sticking with WW.

Hello to Judy. Have a wonderful day everyone.

Hi,

Ike has some gastro/digestion issue that causes this upset. Also, saw something in his stomach, not metal, etc etc...same as what happened with Kylee a few months ago. He is staying there on IV's to hopefully see that piece of whatever move through. I can't imagine what it is, but he is one to put everything in his mouth. We scraped all the beds in the yard that had regular mulch, just on the off chance he would pick one up...and replaced it with a good top soil. Then this happens....he is like a little "Hoover"...

Like Christina, I’m still learning names!

Kudos to everyone on their workouts. None for me today, as I made today my shopping day since tomorrow is my youngest sons birthday and along with his brother we are going to the zoo. He works there, but doesn’t get to actually see the animals.

Deb, I hope IKE is back home soon.

Lori, I hope you move to Florida goes smoothly. My sister and her family moved down there years ago. She grew up here in Michigan, her husband is from near Winnipeg, and they’d been living near Chicago, and said to heck with winter. They are not far from Tampa. She’s still working for a company on the west coast and is currently doing everything from home instead of flying all over. They have a condo in the the western NC mountains, so they are there for the summer. I can’t do Florida, the heat and the humidity are just too much. I may complain about Michigan’s winters, but I’ll take them over months of heat.

Diane Sue, rescheduling certainly sounds like your best bet. I got a late start on having kids! Had them at 37 and 40. I actually have a classmate that has two great grandkids  while I am just not ready to be a grandma.

Sorry to anyone I missed. I only got four hours sleep last night and swore I’d be in bed by 10. Clearly that didn’t happen.

another day of serious garden work. I got more sore from this than any cathe workout! some awkward positions and sort of squat/lunge moves to weed the corn, and serious hoeing that is a great core and upper body workout. I re-planted everything the slugs ate and still have enough seed to do it again. we are over the bulk of garden work for the moment. DH prunes all the shrubs and then shreds it. a huge job since things grow so aggressively here.
tomorrow ….. I get my hair cut and colored! last appt was in Feb so this is WAY overdue. I am SO looking forward to this!

Cathy you echo my thoughts exactly. Here ( Washington state) we get cold and rain and some snow, plus I'm originally from Wisconsin, and yes, walked to school 5 miles through 10 feet of snow and blizzard winds etc etc. I like snow for sports not crazy about having it around a long time. nothing compared to heat and humidity! I don't do any tropical vacations. even Hawaii was too hot and humid for me. once was enough. Nice but no repeats.
Deb that is rough. some dogs are like 2 yo's. everything goes into the mouth. could have been something from inside the house too.

This morning I did LIS Lower Body Trisets. That was 40 minutes and 207 calories burned. Average heart rate was 129 and maximum heart rate was 151.

Cathy, it takes a while to learn everyone’s name. I’m sure that you will enjoy your family’s trip to the zoo.

Valerie, that’s exciting for you being able to get your hair cut today. I‘m still not going to my salon even though she is open. The kind of hair care that I get requires hours of close contact and I am not ready for that.

Deb, I hope that Ike is better today.

Hello to All, and have a great day.

Good morning. Caroline, I feel OK with this. After the mammogram comtact, this doesn't seem too close. now THAT was close. I will wear a mask as I'm sure all in the salon will. one of the employees has an immunity compromised condition ( not sure who or what) so I feel they will be aggressive about safety procedures, and it is not new to them either. I have been careful for many years about touching my face after being out in public so not new behavior. I won't be cavalier about it, just careful.

will try to get in some garden work this morning.

Today was one of those days where I spent a lot of time trying to decide what I wanted to do. My original plan was Lite Pyramid and I looked at the time at 80 minutes and just was not feeling it. So, I did Coffey Fit Raw Box and Sculpt outside for the second time this week since it is fun and used a 15# dumbbell this time for the lower work, 34 minutes, heart rate 132/167, 183 calories (better than Monday) 3,118 steps. I then did Raw 5 Day Strength Day 4 total body, 28 minutes, heart rate 119/139. 614 steps, 117 calories. Total time was 62 minutes, 300 calories, 3,735.
Total Body Day 4 of 5 day strength 3 rounds of all exercises They use 25 and 35 # weight plate. I used a barbell and dumbbells
modified pull over 25# dumbbell 10 reps all 3 rounds
biceps curls 25# dumbbell 10 reps 3 rounds
squat/reverse lunge I used a 25# dumbbell 1 round then two 15's 2 rounds 10 reps
bench press I used 35# barbell 1 set then 15# dumbbells 2 sets 10 reps
dips 35# barbell 10 reps all 3 rounds
lunges alternating I used 15# dumbbell 10 reps each side alternating
upright row 15# dumbbells 10 reps

I am totally green with envy over anyone who can grow things. Definitely, not my talent unless you count weeds, back when I tried to garden, I did have splendid weed growth. OTOH my son had botany last fall and the class grows poinsettias to sell and he got to bring one home. Brought it home in November and it STILL has some red flowers. I haven't touched or watered it once. It's fate once he goes to college will likely not be pretty.

Our morning zoo trip was very nice. In addition to his plan to be a zoologist, Derek plans to minor in photography, (and Spanish-he's nothing if not ambitious) and I turned the picture taking over to him when he was about 10 as he has an excellent eye. Every zoo trip means pics and videos that he turns into little movies. He has a set intro, adds music, cuts and splices and really does an amazing job.

No workout for me today, but I hit 10,000 steps by 12:30. The zoo is in two sections and there is a 10 minute uphill walk or tram ride to the large African area and we always walk it. Then the path through Africa is quite long. If we lived even half the distance closer I'd go walk a few days a week.

No haircuts for us for awhile yet. The boys can get them before they go off to college mid-August. I haven't had mine cut in years, though at some point I plan to get a trim and just have it all dyed gray. I'm really over dyeing it all the time and I'm working on a pretty good amount grown out so a match could be found.
Cathy

Good evening ladies,

Yesterday I did FitSplit boxing bootcamp and a SBF lower body target. This morning was a Perspirolgy bounce/sclupt. Walked GiGi 3 miles both days.

Thank you all for your kind words and support! I have been busy making arrangements the past couple of days. Dumpster comes tomorrow...we have lived here for over 20 years with 20 years of stuff we can trash!! my son and his fiance are buying our house so this makes things so much easier. They move in mid July and will help us pack up. it is our goal to be there the end of August. We are renting for a bit before we buy. Need to know where we will be working before we buy. I feel so amazing with this decision. I have been miserable at work especially the last year. So glad not to be going back.

Deb...oh I hope Ike is better soon. Poor baby! Yes Chester use to swim.. :) Gigi and I do the same walk and she swims at the same spot. She is adorable and loves the water. Today she kept jumping in over and over. I’ll attach a video I took recently.

Valerie...I remember your thoughts on Florida! We love it...hate the winters were we live. The amount of snow we get is just too much. We are over it. The other day, my husband actually said to me..I think you need to color your hair! It was funny. So I did the next day :)

Cathy and Christina...I feel for you trying get everyone’s names. I remember that all too well. Gets easy as you go along.

Cathy...lack of sleep really messes with my routine. Hope you can catch up tonight. I love going to the Zoo....lot’s of walking so this is a workout in my book!

Christina..Isn’t Zoom awesome! I have used it several times to catch up with friends.

Carolyn...I agree with the close contact. We are not ready for this yet either and glad I cut and color my own hair. Came in handy.

Diane Sue as always great workout. Amazing you can workout that late. I don’t blame you at all for changing the appts. Hope it works out for you. Would not want to be hanging around waiting. Haha on the bathroom trips!! GiGi is so strong and pulls me at times so hard. She has been better but I brace myself if she sees a squirrel. Funny..Chester was 30lbs heavier than she is - yet she wipes me out.

Judy...I remember you having back issues. You seem to been fine now. Hard to believe that was 2015??

Have a great night all!

Today I did 4 DS, Legs only and a 30 minute run-walk. It's been so nice outside this week. I plan on getting back out again tomorrow.

Deb-Great job with Stacked Sets Lower Body and all the steps! I hope Ike is better soon!

Valerie-That's great that you have a hair appt. tomorrow! I have one for next Wednesday and am looking forward to it.

Carolyn-Great job with Lower Body Trisets!

Diane Sue-I was the same way this morning. I had 3 other workouts I was looking at doing then I finally decided on 4 DS.

Cathy-I am also in Michigan, near Detroit.

Lori-That is so great that your son is buying your house! I bet that will help make moving a lot easier. I love the video of Gigi!

Hi to Christina!

Judy

I feel so down today. The woman I had mentioned in my church that is the daughter of one of my game day ladies passed away. The cancer came back and she was having problems. They put her in icu two days ago and she got an infection and digestive problems. They sent out a prayer chain for her family today. This is going to be rough because she has children, youngest 12. The little girl is my youngest granddaughter's friend that she hangs with when she comes to my church. She sometimes comes to ladies games day with her grandmother.

Deb, I hope that things go well with Ike. Too bad he doesn't care what he picks up.

Judy, nice work on PHA 2.

Valerie, I never understood why charts give people more weight as normal as they age. I remember my daughter telling me people need some extra weight so they don't lose too much if they are sick. I hope you reach all of your goals. I personally think those masks make people mess with their faces more. I see them messing with the mask and moving it up and down all of the time. I saw someone's selfie in a salon with hair color on her roots and a mask on their face. I can only imagine the fumes and discomfort. I bet it will feel good to have your hair cut and colored though. I had my husband cut mine again. I need to get hair color ordered.
I am hoping for some rain as I have had to go out daily and put some water on the lawn and plants. It is dry so far this season. A small chance tonight.

Christina, if you like streaming Coffey Fit Raw is a good choice at only 6.99 a month. She has almost all of her dvds on there as well as her raw workouts. Loads of different types of workout choices. She just filmed two new ones for dvd that are on preorder. She does the filming and checks them out and edits before she puts up her presale. I love her workouts.

Carolyn, nice work on Cardio Quick Fix and getting yoga in. I will do yoga tonight. I did get my visit with the doctor changed to the day after I do the heart CT. It is not such a big deal as they are just checking to see if the nodule changes which is often normal to have show up anyway. I suppose I will be wearing my mask.

Cathy, your son must be really talented. I would let him do the filming and picture taking too. He has some really great goals.
My 12 year old granddaughter draws animations and puts them to music on youtube. She also writes and has a 15 chapter book she has written about wolf packs. She loves reading. I guess time will tell as she is still young. I was thinking about ages and my two daughters are 40 and 43, and my son is 46. Maybe I don't want to think about it, as that makes me pretty old.
It seems like a lot of the ladies I am around let their hair go grey. If I thought mine would be a pretty silvery grey I would go for it. Just not there yet. It would be nice not to need to color it.

Lori, it will be like starting a whole new chapter in your life. I hope it is works out wonderfully for you. Gigi looks like she is having a blast in the water. So cute. Yes, if Gertie gets excited she jerks me and it is a struggle. I guess it is their nature to want to go after squirrels and the like. It is not fun when you are the one on the other end of the leash.

Got my hair cut and roots touched up. Yes!!! I feel better now! it was a few more steps than before, but all and all a good experience. yes, wear the mask. then did a bunch of shopping errands, and got my second shingle shot. Masked. I don't like it much but it keeps you from rubbing your nose or touching most of your face although mine slips down and needs to be pushed back up often. its best when stores require it because it gets everyone on the same page. I don't wear a mask outside but in stores its fine with me.
I didn't feel great after #1 shingles shot back in Feb so will see what tomorrow brings. my arm doesn't hurt this time like it did the first time, and so far I feel fine.

I love pretty gray or silver hair. unfortunately I am apparently not getting that version, but rather a faded mousy brown with gray sprinkled in. I don't like the color process but I don't like what my hair looks like without it either.

also did Revd up rumble. my hamstrings are still sore from the weird semi squat position I was in doing garden weeding.

Gigi is sure a water dog! she looks like she loves it. how come they don't get cold when they jump into a cold lake??

WW pretty much lets us set our own goals for weight. I am bulky with big bones and muscle, so I am short..... but not going to weigh 107 or something. adults vary so widely that ranges accommodate everyone. I want a weight I can maintain without starving while doing a reasonable exercise program. . so I will decide based on where the weight comes off. it is not going away quickly but it is coming off. .

Good morning,

Yesterday I did Cardio Coach #3, 32 minutes, 174 calories. I definitely see a decline in calorie count when I use my Polar HRM compared to the FitBit. Today I did LITE Pyramid Pump, upper only all reps premix, 47 minutes, 241 calories. Picked up Ike yesterday, Thankfully whatever it was, it moved after the load of IV's he had. Now feeding him 3 times a day with 3 additional snacks to keep his digestive track moving.

Valerie, Yay on the hair cut/color! I am another one that does not enjoy Florida at all. Too much humidity. The last time I was there was in January last year, and it was still so humid, even though it was not really hot. I find that I lose weight when I stop lifting weights regularly. I think when you are lifting, your muscles must retain water or something.

Christina, good job on Circuit Crush and the Zoom yoga workouts! A wisteria on an arbor must have been beautiful.

Carolyn, good job on KCM. the yoga workout and LIS!

Cathy, nice job on the step count! hope you were able to get a better night's sleep! All of us here have some sort of sleep issues here and there. It comes with the age I firmly believe. That is great about your son wanting to be a zoologist! How old is he?

Diane Sue, so sorry about your friend's daughter. :(nice job on the workouts. I did the same as you today, looked at Pyramid Pump, the whole workout...80 minutes???? NOPE, not for me. That is why I picked the premix I did. What is with Cathe and the pyramid workouts? She's a speed demon, and this one is done with the stability ball. Jumping off and on that to change weights is crazy fast.

Lori, that's so good that your son is buying your house! One less stress to have to deal with. Great video. :).

Judy, Nice job on 4DS legs! That is also a favorite of mine for lower body.

Take care,

yes sleep problems come with age. I don't sleep as deeply and every little thing disrupts. then I cant go back to sleep. my arm got sore from the shot. not as bad as the first one but I usually sleep on that side. a restless, difficult nights sleep. I bought a pineapple yesterday and in the middle of the night it rolled off the countertop. made a very loud thump. it doesn't have to be a very big noise to wake me up. my room is a long way from the kitchen. I feel kind of punky today. not sick but not right either. we were going to ride but I don't think so. good to hear Ike is doing better.

I agree ...when I overwork something, like my legs on a really long hike or ride, I seem to retain water for few days . but that is water not fat. my weight loss target is the fat. you can lose 5 pounds quickly by getting dehydrated ( hello keto diet) but it comes back on in a heartbeat making you feel like a failure. a couple pounds fluctuation depending on hydration is annoying not permanent. my metabolism does not work with keto at all. I could never do it although I tried years ago the first time it got popular. It was a total horror movie for a week.
I've upped my water consumption because it helps with weight loss, ( according to WW) but then there is also the "get up and pee" disruption at night.

Lori not needing to sell your house is a huge break!. the housing market is all over the place these days and a stressor nobody wants. cousin here is having an awful time, and the real estate market is "hot", while niece and husband in CA sold theirs almost immediately. no predicting.

I really dislike humidity. I can tolerate warm temps not happily but if its humid too, that is the killer. I don't go there.
