This morning I did Coffey Fit Raw Cardio Tone, 33 minutes, heart rate 125/171, 143 calories, 2,561 steps. I then did Cardio Overload 2 wearing my 4 # vest, 35 minutes, heart rate 143/212 (Fitbit went off track for a little bit as I watched it pick up and drop back down and was not working as hard as the high on either workout) 216 calories, 3,173 steps. I finished off with Lindsey Samper safe stretches #4, 19 minutes, 18 calories. Total time was 87 minutes, 5,734 steps, 377 calories. I did Lindsey Samper workout 11 last night before going to bed. This was at midnight, but much needed.
I was looking at my calendar and I think I am changing some appointments. I don't know why they have me set for a heart CT to check those nodules they found the last time, at 8:30 am and to see the pulmonologist at 11:00. That is a long time of hanging out in the heart hospital. I think I will see if I can make these on separate days. My husband said just come home and go back, but parking is not good, traffic in the area is not good, and the hospital is like a maze a person could get lost in without help. I don't want to leave and go back the same day. Plus a few days later I have a follow up with the eye doctor.
Cathy, my family is all in Oklahoma city or surrounding area. My older set of 5 grandchildren are your son's ages. The second group of 3 are 5, 8, and 12. I am sort of retired as I did daycare for years and the did daycare for my grandchildren, taking them to and from schools and back to my house till more recent years. I still pick up sometimes, but not on a set schedule anymore. With the Covid it seemed forever before we were able to have a family get together, but now we are sort of back to normal. It looks like you are doing well with your workouts. It is best on some moves to make them what works for you. We all have our issues. I have heard that the one leg deadlift lifting the leg behind is actually good for low back pain. Go figure. Probably as long as we aren't lifting heavy weight at the same time. I always felt like the worst part of wallpapering was removing the old and prepping and making sure the surface was smooth and ready to apply the new wallpaper. I have not done it in years myself.
Deb, I really am lucky that I have family that can help with a lot of things. My son learned a lot from my husband and built on it. He makes decisions for 7 eleven on flooring and repairs and purchases. That is why I went with what he said on the tile as we had purchased luxury vinyl and he said it does not hold up in the long term in places where there is dampness and water getting on the floor. So, we took it back and got porcelain. I am hoping this tile is better than the ceramic tile we purchased for the kitchen. I have a bottle of ceramic acrylic in a grey color that is gloss to touch up chips as I have dropped eating utensils from the dishwasher and I don't know what else has caused chips, but it makes me irritated. He has a tile cutter and tools and does an meticulous job. Once the grout cures another day I will put the sealant on and my husband will put the molding on and the new toilet in. My husband did carpentry and worked for a remodeling company before he worked at the Police Department.
Valerie, that is great that you had some weight loss. You are always so active all of the time. We had a house once that the wallpaper did not want to stay stuck on the wall, but it had a shower in it and not good ventilation. We could use some rain right now. I have started going out and spraying some water on the grass in the evenings and in the morning. What grass I have in back is dying off. I did not seed this year.
Carolyn, I was contemplating Low Impact Step Challenge today, but really did not want to do too much step after yesterdays strength work. The Raw cardio overload does use a step a little, but most is like one foot on the step and some boxing , and a lot is done on the floor. Kelly says you can do it on the floor. Maybe I will do it tomorrow. That is great the mammogram results were good.
Lori, I don't walk Gertie enough. She gets so excited at first, but will settle down after a little while. Unless she spots another dog or animal. Usually a no and jerk on the leash will settle her, although I hate having to stop and make her sit till she is ready to get back to walking after an encounter. We had an English bulldog that loved to eat the water. We could not put a sprinkler out without her attacking it. She even got out of the yard and went for the neighbor's sprinkler. The grout is done, but I will be glad when the toilet is back. I had to make 3 trips downstairs for bathroom breaks today. I guess I shouldn't have drank two cups of coffee and a hydrating drink before I started LOL. I got extra floors and steps! I am sure it is a relief making the decision not to go back to a job you were dreading. My brother recently relocated from Nebraska to Florida to help his mother in law who is not doing well. He got a job right away their driving a truck and hauling for a company.
