Hello friends - Thank you for the very kind welcome to your group. I am getting back into exercising after six months when I got almost nothing physical done. My husband took a new job halfway across the country, and I had to finish my teaching contract in our previous home state. That meant doing home renovations, putting the house on the market, and living alone for about half the year before I could join him. To top it off, schools went online part way through the spring, so I had to become a one-woman video production company very quickly! We were very lucky to get a contract on the house in early March before the virus took off. Moving during the pandemic was challenging, compounded by the fact that a tornado hit our town in the middle of our move. That is a long-winded way of saying that working out has been on the back burner lately!
Today I did ICE chiselled upper body - the ICE series seems to be just the right level of challenge for me right now. I got an extra stability challenge because my cat was weaving around my legs while I was trying to do the exercises. Judy - sounds like you have that one queued up this week too - I really like the variety of exercises and the way there's plenty of core mixed in.
Traildoggie - I agree about the haircuts. I have dyed mine from a box a few times, but it's looking pretty shaggy. I actually cut my husband's hair last weekend after watching a few videos. No one was more surprised than I when it turned out relatively well...I am not sure I trust him to return the favor though.
Mask usage seems to be about 50:50 here in Kansas. They have opened restaurants, but I am not ready to return to in-person dining. I've had a pulmonary embolism, so I am at risk for lung complications and I am taking masking and social distancing very seriously. I may try going to Trader Joes this week rather than ordering grocery delivery...we will see how brave I feel.
