I am feeling much better today. I did have leg cramps last night. This is the third time lately. I am hoping the Rainbow Magnesium + Calcium helps. It has 1000 mg in 3 capsules of magnesium (I take two) along with calcium, D, C and B6 and an herbal supposrt blend with tumeric and willow bark along with digestive support with things like ginger in them. I use these occasionally and they do help. Since I have been getting about 1/3 of my dv of calcium I thought 2 day would be enough as opposed to the 3 suggested.
I got my husbands car out of the shop so maybe I can get my physical and mammogram scheduled now that I have transportation.
I tried to get on here earlier this afternoon, and I guess they were updating the site.
Lori, it sounds like you really need the long weekend and some rest. I do not really care for Tracey Anderson. I think it was the Teen Meta that had a strength segment using a loop band that I kind of liked. Her rebounder "tramp" workout is so boring since she doesn't talk and you get to watch her do the whole workout facing you and you get to watch it from behind. It cost me 25.00 and it was definitely not worth it to me. They could be better if it didn't feel like you were mainly watching her to see her perform. That is just my opinion. Endless reps and boredom. I do have several of her workouts. I have had off and on sore areas or mildly painful areas. I know sometimes it is nerve endings from one area that transfer to others. Sometimes it is hard to tell exactly what area is causing the problems. I watched some of that bounce clip. I may try that soon.
Valerie, the water rower sounds interesting. I wonder what the differences in the water is. Maybe hard water or something? If it is just for resistance and is a jug it really doesn't make sense that well water could not be used. I think most medications if taken long term can end up causing some other problems. We know there are consequences to taking too much of things like acetomenophen and ibuprophen. The same is probably true of sleep aids and many other things. Even if they are over the counter. I tried sleep teas, some didn't help and some like the valerian, leaves me groggy the next day and I just didn't like the way it made me feel and sleep was not that much better. I find if I can make myself not eat late and not drink too much water before bed, I sleep better. I hate it when I wake up needing to go to the bathroom. If it is early, like around 1 am or something I usually can go back to sleep, but if it is near 4 I may not be able to go back to sleep. Getting up and reading never helps me relax enough to go back to sleep.
Deb, I would not be happy about not getting the mammogram because I was a couple of weeks early. I won't be early as it has been almost 2 years. I skipped a year since I had just had the breast mri. The breast care center sends me a card and calls when it is time for another one. They just moved to a brand new building right around the corner from me. Actually, I have had doctors recommend supplements at different times. My grandson was recommended taking melatonin when he was younger by a doctor. I know a lot of doctors just want to give a prescription. Judy is right though, most have to have a disclaimer to protect themselves. Fortunately mine knows I am not much for meds and she will give me some samples and discuss other alternatives and listen more than anything else. I do not take any prescriptions right now and am hoping not to have to.
I ran out of the Joint Vibrance powder I was taking and had 700 points with Dr Axe website, so had purchased the multi collagen along with the pre-workout bone broth protein that I usually use so I could get the Bone Broth Protein meal powder free. Sooo, in order to make it near the ingredients in the all around Joint Vibrance, I ordered Bio Schwartz Glucosamine, MSM, + Chondroitin with patented Fruitex-B (whatever that is) It has type II collagen, bromelain, tumeric, ginger, and hyaluronic acid. Since it does not list the amount of any of the ingredients I am taking the Dr Axe Multi Collagen with it and added the Now Hyaluronic Acid double strength, which has L Proline, Alpha Lipoic Acid, and grape seed extract to complete the formula, to this and the calcium supplement. The Now Hyaluronic says 1 or 2 capsules and I am using 1 since I don't know exactly how much is in the Bio Schwartz formula. The Joint vibrance had 125mg in it and the Now is 100mg capsules. Anyway, I seem to be gradually getting better. I am thinking about trying the Capraflex again when this all runs out, unless I get excellent results with what I am using. So many products claim glucosamine, chondroitin and hyaluronic acid when these things are generaly a component of the collagen product, so I am a bit skeptical when they do not give the mg. of the different components.
Judy, a lot of the joint supplements that I have looked at have only about 25 mg of hyaluronic acid in them. I really do like the joint vibrance for the amount of the ingredients and the comprehensive product it is. They only thing is that it runs 51 dollars at Sprouts and lasts 21 days. A hydro-massage bed sounds nice
Carolyn, I forgot about that low impact premix for Kick Max. I need to keep that in mind.
