Pentagenarians & Beyond: W/B 5/17

Thanks carolyn. I am probably toward the upper end of fruit servings. my servings are generous and spread out thru the day. bananas are more filling . not getting more than one a day. fruit is so good right now! I love most fruit, hate grapefruit. Ugh.

my main concern with the mamm is that it went too smoothly. I have the pacer that gets squished into the mamm. usually some pinching involved. tech goes thru some pushing and shoving to keep it out of the field as much as possible because it appears way larger than it is and blocks view of tissue. this lady did not know I had one. she asked what the scar on my shoulder was from. I thought that would be prominent information on my chart as I have had mamms in the same facility for 30 years. I have had to go back for repeat views many times but it's a big time stress producer. I am hoping for the best here. .

every Tv series/movie the men are at one week beard growth. don't care for it. some men look good like that but my DH does not.

yes that's the deal with older dvd players. I have done the same thing..... notice distortion but ignore it rather than go to settings and fix it.

Hi all,

No workout yesterday or today. I woke up the other night at 3:00 am with a stabbing pain in my back, under my shoulder blade. I could not find any way to stay in bed, no comfortable position. I took ibuprofen, and it went away about 3 hours later. I was fine all day, until about 8 pm last night, when it hit again when I went to sit down in a recliner. I used a heating pad, took more ibuprofen. It is still there somewhat, but not like it was. I never had this happen before. It hurts when I inhale. The only thing I can connect it to was the boxing I did Monday morning in Cardio Party?

Diane Sue, good job on the steps! sorry about your allergies. Maybe a humidifier will help with the dryness. John got one and said he thought it helped, but he usually forgets to fill it and turn it on. I can't picture how a scale could track your workouts? Yes, maybe FitBit themselves had an issue with their app.

Valerie, maybe your points on WW are set too low? Starting with more free stuff is a good idea. Not sure what "letterboxing" is. We have had 5056 cases of Covid in Erie Counts, with 500 deaths. :(. The mamm you had sounds great, no people around is how it should be.

Carolyn, nice job on Cardio Party. That is amazing that you got that Amazon Fresh order in that short time. Easy to order over $35 I am sure. What store do they shop at? Whole Foods? Same here on the Polar HRM....I was getting too many zero's on the watch.

Judy, your workout plan sounds good. We just got into Phase 1 this past Monday. I think hair and nail salons are in phase 2 here.

Hi to Lori,

Take care,

Deb, that’s strange that you woke up with shoulder pain. I hope it’s better soon. I’m sure that Amazon Fresh is from Whole Foods, which they own. It doesn’t say Whole Foods, but I see their 365 brand on many of the items.

Today I did Coffey Fit Raw Solo Dumbbell Strength (metabolic workout) 37 minutes(33 actual) heart rate 95/ 137, 584 steps, 83 calories.
I then did Ripped with Hiit Abs #1, 11 minutes, 23 calories, heart rate 92/125, 263 steps. I finished with Fitbit Barre 3 Undo+Renew 13 minutes, 30 calories, heart rate 87/99, 109 steps. Total time was 61 minutes, 136 calories, 956 steps.
RAW SOLO DUMBBELL STRENGTH 33 minutes (shoulder intensive, Kelly does mention on the push press you can just do an upright row if it bothers the shoulders) 12 reps each exercise
This is two different exercises per group done 3 times Kelly and Sammy use a 20# dumbbell and have a 15 just in case. Uses a mat during last exercise group.
Exercise group 1 done 3 times
Snatch I used 12# 12 reps
flip curls done holding dumbbell with both hands 20# 12 reps
Exercise group 2 done 3 times
Split Squat Row 20# 12 reps right then 12 reps left
Push Press me 12# 12 reps last set I did upright rows after Kelly mentions it
Exercise Group #3 done 3 times with a mat
Skull crushers 12 reps 20# last set I used 15# a my shoulders were burning
bench press/pullovers 20# last set I used 15# and Kelly just did pullover
remove mat and stretch for shoulders
finisher move ( I almost skipped this, but it was not bad as I used a 12# dumbbell)
1 set only squat thrust/push up/frog squat up switch hands with dumbbell and repeat 12 reps
stretch

It was so weird at Sprouts today as the lady in front of me went in shopping with half a paper plate on her face with elastic holding it and a pair of lips painted where the mouth should be. It just covered her mouth. I almost laughed, but didn't know if she was being serious or it was a joke. I see a lot of people wearing masks just over their mouths. Wondering what that is supposed to do. Don't they breathe in and out of their noses too?

Carolyn, I wondered it there would be a fee. The 365 brand products seem to be good quality products. When I did the Whole Foods delivery their choices on meats and fruits and vegetables was excellent. I almost always spend more than 35 dollars on Amazon. Using Zoom would take some getting used to. I had a tendency to start talking at the same time someone else was talking, and there would be lulls like we were all trying to wait our turn.

Valerie, that would be concerning having them have to move the pacer out of the way. They have to push back my implants and always tell me I do not have much tissue to work with. I always dread that as they squeeze and pinch. It sure seems like they would have checked that on your history. I have been to the same place for a lot of years too. They built a new facility nearer to me that is really nice. They send me a reminder every year and I make my own appointment. My doctors office used to do it for me when I would come in for my yearly check up and sometimes they would take so long to do it. I just started doing it myself and they never ask anymore other than to make not it was already done before I go in. I like having that and my blood work all done enough ahead so my doctor can just go over the results with me. I don't really care for bananas, but have started using a half of a frozen one in my smoothies once in awhile. I prefer berries, apples and citrus fruit.

Deb, it could be the boxing moves. Maybe you pulled something when you did it. I foam roll my upper back at night before I go to bed since between that, my neck and my shoulders I hold a lot of tension and pain will hit. I am learning to work that out throughout the day and it helps alleviate the pain. I did a Fitbit 15 minute yoga last night that was Yoga for Sleep under their free at home workouts that was nice. Some just routine moves, but it felt good before bed and she held them for a little longer. Particularly felt good on the shoulder area and my low back. Actually I saw the workout on this mornings workout I had done and remembered that I did it at almost 2 am so it would have been today :) I hate those unexplained pain things. I sometimes do Cardio Party premix that is the hi lo to avoid quite so much boxing. I get quite a bit of boxing out of Kelly's workouts. Too often and it affects my shoulders, lats, etc..
I don't think that I would forget to put water in the humidifier. I managed two stores today without coughing other than when I was outside in the wind. I use Flonase which I hate, an hour before I left and stuck a cough drop in my mouth before I pout on my mask. Not even the clerk had a mask on in Dollar General today. Although she is mainly behind the plexiglass. No customers either.
Sprouts was different though. They have removed the arrows, but still have the one door to go in where they have a girl that cleans and sprays the carts for you and a clipboard which I am guessing is to track how many people come in the door. I bought some Allegra in the Dollar store to try. I remember I used to have less side affects with it. I am getting quite the collection of Allergy meds.

I think the smart scale picks up data over Bluetooth and wifi from my fitness apps and using their fitness app along with my Fitbit watch. It is giving me really close readings to what the Fitbit gives me. I don't understand though why I cannot get my steps to sync from Fitbit to MFP or the Withings Health Mate(scale) app. Withings make blood pressure monitors and watches that can be used with the scale and their app as well. I choose a workout type and set the Health Mate App to start at the same time I start my Fit Bit. My meals from MFP (at least I think it is MFP or it could be Fitbit calories sync to the Health Mate App so it all goes in there with the rest of the Data. You are supposed to be able to use the information there to get printout history or send to your doctor. I don't think I would go that far. I have been doing a pulse check with the cell phone when relaxed in the morning. It gives me progress graphs. Also I can take a picture of whatever after each workout and save it so I take a picture of the cover or workout on the screen to save with that workout so I know exactly which workout it was instead of it being just weights. The miles and GPS graph looks like a scribbled drawing as I move around the room throughout a workout LOL It looks like I had a couple of blue pens attached to the bottom of my feet or something.

Deb I hope the problem diminished. I have had pains from kick boxing in the shoulder /back area. assumed I pulled a muscle. didn't notice until the next day. mine went away in a day or so. hope yours did too.

I don't remember exactly what letterboxing was, but it had to do with converting movie images to TV screens without leaving big borders around the picture. was it called aspect? movies are rectangular images, TVs more square so when you put movies on a tv screen they widened them so they filled the screen, but it distorts the picture. make things wider. something like that. newer media seems to work it out some way.

I was unfortunately right, I need to go back to the breast center for more views. so far soonest I can get is next week Thursday. this is always a huge stressor. happens every other year. a pacer is not very big but the magnification makes it look humongous. its upper chest area and gets caught in the plastic plates when they squeeze down. its not that sensitive an area.

we run to the humid side here so no need to humidify. Montana can be very dry especially in winter so we have a small humidifier for the bedroom. we've used but not often.

did Low Impact sweat this morning and the Ab workout. using one riser not two. cathe goes so fast in some but not all spots. I keep pace with one riser not two.

This morning I did Pyramid Pump Upper Body for 51 minutes and 265 calories burned. My average heart rate was 118 and maximum heart rate was 159. I was careful with the bicep exercises and did fewer reps because I have some soreness in my forearm along the outside. It’s not really painful, but I don’t want to irritate it more.

Valerie, having to repeat the mammogram must be very frustrating for you. Your instincts were right in that situation.

Diane Sue, it sounds like that woman in Sprouts was trying to be funny by using the paper plate as a mask.

Deb, hopefully you are better today.

Hello to Lori and Judy.

Good morning,

We spent most of the day at the vet yesterday. IKE had a severe case of gastritis, not sure what caused it except the vet said he should eat slower, break his food into smaller meals, and don't let him run around after he eats. Easier said than done. I was afraid he had eaten something he shouldn't have, or got into a poison of some kind.

Carolyn, thanks, my back pain has gone. It had to be a muscle strain of some kind. Good job on Pyramid Pump Upper Body. :)

Diane Sue, a paper plate with lips painted on???? seriously??? Yes, Zoom can be a little frustrating, especially with large groups. We had 11 screens on my birthday gathering, ( multiple people on some screens), and it was crazy when everyone was trying to talk. My 91 year old uncle dropped off because it was too much for him. Later he said to me that people should talk in some kind of pre-determined order, like "oldest first"...LOL...:). (Then he could get off after he has had his say.) Good idea on that Cardio Party premix. There is a lot of boxing in that workout. That's great that you got to go to 2 stores without coughing. Do the masks help when you are outside in the wind?

Valerie, sorry about having to go back for another mamo....at least you are familiar with the reason why this happens.

Judy, thanks. Did Chris end up going for his colonoscopy? I wonder some times who has decided which medical procedures are "essential"? or does it go by patient/procedure?

Waving hello to Lori,

Take care,

Hi Everyone,

Wednesday I did Flexibility & Beyond, Hips practice, and 45 minutes of very easy (heart rate <100) indoor cycling. Yesterday I did LiTe Body Weight & Bands. I'm starting to feel the benefits of doing yin yoga every other day. I don't know how long I would want to continue doing it that often but I probably need to do it at least once a week going forward. I'm sure I'll be ready for harder workouts next week.
I used the Clairol Root Touch Up hair color (thanks for the tip Deb) yesterday, for the first time and it worked great! I ordered 4 more boxes from Amazon. I should have tried doing it sooner. Even if I have to do it every 3 weeks, it's a huge savings over going to the salon just for my roots.

Deb-I'm sorry about Ike :( That must have been very stressful for you. I'm glad your shoulder is better.
We are still on a stay at home order in this county and it sounds like it will be extended. The hair salons and gyms here are still going to be closed in June. The governor is allowing the upper peninsula to open up because they have not had high numbers of the virus but SE Michigan is still a hot spot. While the numbers are going down, they are still high. Chris will likely be able to get his colonoscopy this summer. His last one was July 2017 and he is on the every 3 years schedule so he should be ok.

Valerie-I'm sorry you have to go back for another mammogram. That is extremely stressful and having to wait until next Thursday makes it worse. My annual mammogram is always a huge stressor for me. You were definitely right in that situation. They should have done it correctly the first time, and should have known that you have a pacer.

Diane Sue-Nice job with the KCM Raw workout! That sounds like a good one. That is crazy about the woman at sprouts wearing a paper plate as a mask! I agree with Carolyn, she must have been doing it to be funny.
Our local grocery store now has a big inventory of hand sanitizer from a brewery. It's 80% alcohol. They also had packages of disposable masks for sale.

Carolyn-Great job with Step Sync and Pyramid Pump Upper Body! I noticed Cathe now has 8 step tutorials on YouTube. I need to get back on track with those. They are very helpful.

Hi to Lori,

Judy

Deb I can't imagine how to get a dog to eat slower. dogs usually INHALE their food. maybe they should chew it more carefully too. good luck with that. good to hear shoulder issue went away.

we did a facetime talk with cousin and wife. that was hard enough, I cant imagine 11 screens at once. I don't care for talking on the phone much no matter how much tech is used.

I will take a look at the Utube tutorials. even low impact sweat has one or two moves where my feet get confused. I can either slow down the disk speed or lower the step. yesterday I left it at regular speed and used one riser. the faster it goes the harder it gets. I got sore too, not sure what move since none are that hard. I continue to be surprised at how little overlap there is between different exercises. even if you hike and ride, change it up to something else and here comes DOMS.

Judy we're doing the same here. a bulk of counties opening things up in steps. places with the most # of cases are still moving slowly. the mamm is always a sleep destroyer, and the follow up one is worse. I have been thru this many times, close to every other year but it doesn't make it easier.
Ive only seen hand sanitizer thin liquid in what looks like a wine bottle. I want the thick stuff that pumps out. I would love to refill our car dispensers. I did a Costco run yesterday and it was almost pre-pandemic normal. no wait, no line, still no chicken. no good salmon either. I don't care for the atlantic farmed stuff. surprisingly not busy with the holiday weekend coming.

This morning I did ICE Rock’m Sock’m Kickbox for 48 minutes and 347 calories burned. My average heart rate was 131 and maximum heart rate was 157.

Deb, Zoom calls can be a free-for-all when everyone has something to say. I can see why your uncle decided to drop off. We always have an agenda for the investment club which keeps things organized. Our family calls, on the other hand, can be a bit chaotic when the grandchildren have things to share, especially the youngest.

Judy, doing Yin Yoga makes the body feel really good. That’s a great self-care regimen to have.

Valerie, Cathe’s step tutorials are good. I only looked at the first three, but people seem to find them to be helpful. I usually don’t use risers with the step workouts. It’s easier on my knees that way and I’m less likely to stumble on fast moves. The shortages in the grocery stores are going to last a while longer. Several wholesalers are doing direct to consumer sales for items that usually go to restaurants.

Hello to Diane Sue and Lori.

Last night at 11:50 I did two yoga workouts I got free from Amazon Prime for neck and shoulders that were really helpful. I am much better today. One was was Yoga 30 days ( I think fat loss?) day 18 neck, and shoulders, 32 minutes, 28 calories and Yoga therapy for back pain, neck pain and stress relief which was all lying on the floor, 21 minutes, 20 calories.

Today I did Jessica Smith Dance Walk both workouts that I purchased from Amazon prime video. This was 64 minutes(62 actual), 346 calories, heart rate 130/168, 6,349 steps, 2.75 miles. I just wanted lighter cardio since my neck and shoulders were really painful yesterday. Originally I had planned on doing a third total body weight workout. Anyway, I added another free Prime yoga from the 30 day series that was day 5energy and motivation today, 23 minutes, 26 calories, 83 steps.
Total time was 87 minutes, 369 calories, 6,432 steps. I liked the second workout on Dance Walk more than the first one. It was perfect for what I needed and I got a lot of steps in.

I did a premix from cardio party that was all boxing. only 25 min but not that useful. each segment got cut off too quickly. then did pyramid pump, 75 knee push ups, few sets of curls and the ab workout.
I watched some of the step tutorials. not sure it will help. I see what she does and understand what to do, but my feet wont go there. its like my brain and my feet are disconnected. I will keep looking thru the premixes for something that will work and let me work up to it gradually.

Good morning ladies!

Still going with Barre Blend. However, I have added some SBF to round it out a bit. I am in week 3 and not sure if I will go the entire 6 weeks. As much as I like the workouts I am starting to feel they are just too similar. Thought by filming live would cut the boredom for me but its not. I seem to always stick to Suzannne Bowen’s challenges so not sure why I venture out. I still have the SBF streaming even thought I threatened to cancel so many times due to lack of new workouts. I added in one of her Adv Bootcamp challenges and as usual I am liking. Need to just stop complaining and stick with her!! Lol!

The baby bird flew the coop on Wednesday I think. We are empty nesters]s again! Lol! I was kind of sad when I saw the empty nest but happy too. :)

Things are opening in phases here. I still have no desire to go out. Restaurants can open with 25% capacity in the second phase. Dreading getting that call to go back!!! I welcome going back to work, just not where I work!!

I have not ordered Cathe’s new workouts yet. I am still undecided. I really have not done a Cathe workout in a while, but I do miss them. And I do like the 30 min workouts. Hmmmm I think I just talked myself into ordering because her presales are always a good and I will most likely end up ordering anyway.

Deb...You may remember I did heavy bag boxing all the time. I found it really inflamed my shoulder. I do shadow boxing now but always aware of my left shoulder. It would be easy to injure with fast flying moves. glad the pain did not last long. Poor Ike!!!!! Sending my love.

Valerie...I have had to go back for a second exam a while ago. All was good. Sending good vibes your way.

Carolyn...how is your daughter?

Diane Sue...I never think of Prime for workouts. Later today, I will check it out a bit. Not that I need more workouts. There have been a ton of bounce/sculpt workouts free on Instagram that I have downloaded to try out when I can.

Judy...I use a touch up in between colorings too. I do my own hair and have done so for years. can in handy with all that is going on. I also read an article about all the gyms being closed and people scrambling to buy equipment for home workouts. I guess it is hard to get a pair of dumbbells! Glad we all have no issues here!

Speaking of items being sold out....guess everyone is into making bread. I pulled my 26 year old bread machine out (surprisingly still works) and made a couple of loaves. I decided I deserve an upgraded machine, but everyone is sold out. The machine I am eyeing (zojirushi) is ridiculously doubled in price on Amazon. So needless to say...no upgrade for me soon. I will not pay extra money because of greedy people!

Have a great weekend all!

Lori congrats on launching your bird family!. they grow so fast its a surprise, here and then gone. we have robins nesting here too, every year, but they always build a little higher usually in the rhodies or camellias. we see the mama go in and out but that's it.
isn't it weird the things that got popular!. we are glad we had workout gear since you just cant find it right now. I have an old bread machine too but out here, flour is totally gone missing, especially whole wheat flour. I am eating very little bread on WW though so would not make it anyway. Love home baked bread and cant resist it.
I keep looking at the workouts because the pricing is so good. I have used the latest series a lot, in contrast to older ones and cant decide if I should or not. more later

ETA Im writing this after Lori and Carolyn posted, so some comments will look out of order.
we went mt biking this morning and made it into a marathon. rode for almost 3 hours with a lot of climbing. I am whipped! some very muddy sections. we went early and missed the later arriving crowds. this is not usually a busy place but with everyone stuck close to home, there are a lot more people than usual. not happy with that, but we live close enough to go early. there at 8:30, done before noon.

re Cardio party... there was an old saying..... "age and persistence beats out youth and skill every time". so that's my approach with Cardio party. no skill, no youth, but I will keep at it until I do better. the premix with only kickboxing was too short and choppy, will look for a better one. I can face it if its not for 50 minutes.

another thing that has gone missing is kitties for adoption. places are out of cats! need to go by appt. no good kitties available around here, if you can believe no kitties in spring. I like dogs too but don't want one.

I have enough flour to get by but not for breadmaking. I have yeast, outdated. in the foil packs its usually good long after. I have almond flour and unbleached regular flour, but no bread flour or whole wheat. I'm sure I could get some thru king arthur or maybe around here if I searched but shelves are still empty. I used the bread machine to mix and knead the dough but then finished outside the machine.
I tried to move up my f/up mammogram but no luck so far.

Valerie....I ordered the presale. I reread the description and decided I would like to give it a go.

I was fortunate to have almond flour, wheat flour and bread flour on hand. I had ordered before everything went crazy. Plus I ordered a very large pack of yeast I keep in the freezer. I have been trying different low carb breads for my husband. I made one recipe and he loved, but I thought it tasted like I was eating cardboard. Lol! It was made with vital wheat gluten and Carbalose Flour. I have sense found another recipe made with oat fiber, the gluten and ground flaxseeds. People rave about this recipe. So fingers crossed. needed to order the oat fiber from amazon and it will take a week to get here. Like you said....stores are wiped clean of all baking products.

I decided not to workout this morning. I wanted to go to Sprouts and the Fresh Market today. I hadn’t been there since mid March, but I needed to pick up several items. Unfortunately, those stores are not really close by, about a 30 minute drive, but I got everything that I needed. My husband and I tackled his out of control beard this afternoon. It looks pretty good for the first attempt. He is pleased.

I still have my old bread machine too! I have it put away right now, but I plan to get it out to use next week. I want to make whole wheat seeded bread and I have all of the ingredients, including the wheat kernels to mill for flour. I like to have avocado toast a few times a week with a good crunchy bread. I thought about getting a Zojirushi about three years ago, but couldn’t justify it since my Toastmaster bread machine works fine.

Valerie, congratulations on tackling the Cardio Party premix. Maybe you can just practice the warm up until you get comfortable with the moves. You can just do double side steps for anything that feels too “dancy” or complicated for you.

Lori, my daughter is doing well for the most part. She is following a treatment plan and she completed a short course of radiation last month. It’s just a lot for her to adjust to along with everything else that’s going on.

Hello to Judy, Deb, and Diane Sue.

Today I am still so sore through the neck and shoulders so I did Jessica Smith Walk Strong Build Balance and Inner Strength balance and core, 31 minutes, heart rate 100/143, 2,651 steps, 128 calories. I also did another yoga from Amazon Prime which is free from a therapy one. It was Yoga therapy for Neck Pain episode 11, 27 minutes, 51 calories. This one had a relax breathing at first then strengthening the scapula area, upper back, and areas that take the pressure off the neck and trap area. It ended with stretches. Man, even the stretches felt rough today. Was better for awhile spasm when I forgot and went to shake the hair out of my face
We went out to lunch at a restaurant. First time other than the Braums we went to once. We were the only customers at first. Two others came in after we did. They had seating spaced and employees with masks. Printed paper throw away menus. They took some foods off the menu so my husband was not able to get his usual ribs. I got my spinach chicken salad I get a lot. Then we went out to the Lazy Boy Store and they took our temperature before we looked around. They had on masks. Anyway, we picked out a recliner rocker for me. We were going to order one I had picked trying to find one online suitable for my neck and back. I decided I did not need one that bad. My husband thought different and that it would be good for me to check them out. I sat in the one I picked out for awhile. I think I will like it so much better than trying to sit on our couch with no neck support for any length of time. Really, I rarely have my neck supported. I sit at the counter on a barstool even when watching television as it feels more comfortable. My neck just gets fatigued throughout the day.
We ordered my husband a new recliner theater chair which is not as big as his double size recliner we got from my daughter. That way we have enough space for two recliners.

Deb, I have read about dogs having problems when eating too fast. I even remember seeing a food that was designed to slow dogs eating down. Isn't there dishes or something that is supposed to make dogs slow down? My dog Mudd seemed like she inhaled the food. She ate like she was afraid someone was going to take it away and she had big issues with it when we got Gertie. I even had her growl at me and I took her bowl away every time she would growl. I finally just fed them in two different areas because it was not worth it. The problem with her is she would swallow it without chewing and vomit it back up sometimes. I would imagine the lady was trying to be funny. It is hard to tell when you cannot see the expression on people's faces. I can understand why your 91 year old uncle dropped out of the conversation. I would imagine if done enough it could be controlled better. I think the younger crowd deal with that stuff more easily. Cell phones used to cut out when both people tried to speak at the same time. I had a hard time with that with my Dad.
The mask does help some in the wind. Really I feel like some stuff gets through. Interesting, as my husband pointed out that some of those masks when cutting dry wall will still get through and you end up with white on your face. Wonder how good a lot of them are for more than catching some particles.

Valerie, that is too bad you have to repeat the mammogram. Usually they look at mine before they let me go to see if it looks good. I imagine what you have is hard to work with. I was leaving hand sanitizer in my car cup holder, but took it out the other day as my car is outside right now and I got to thinking that if water can explode in a hot car I can only imagine what could happen with hand sanitizer and the alcohol. I remember how hard it was learning step when I first started. As I learned I kept getting more complicated workouts and would really have to work on the choreography. Some I got, but I still have a few that I just do not have the patience to go back and try again. They are particularly difficult when the get to having you travel around and over the step and across the room and some have dance type moves thrown in and tricky kicks. Once I learned Cathe's methods, I have not had problems with any of hers. Amy Bento Ross is tough to catch on. Some of the later ones I have not learned fully. There are others, but it is a challenge when I want one.
I usually buy the large bags of organic gmo flour, I think it is called Montana or something? They have not had any in Walmart or Sprouts for awhile now. I would buy it and put it in the freezer till ready to add some to my canister. Ran out during this pandemic and my husband picked me up a couple of 2# bags self rising and then the stores started having some so I have couple of 5# bags in stock. I have several packages of yeast.

Judy, I need to keep up with the yoga so I don't tighten back up. It is time consuming though, but good for me. I bet the hand sanitizer that my daughter in law mentioned at the Crest Foods store was something like you mention. She said if you didn't look closely you would have thought it was wine because it was in wine bottles and stacked at the end of an aisle like a display. I picked up some a small bottle of spray on hand sanitizer at Sprouts recently. They had quite a few. I have used it before, but got worried the top would get loose and I would have hand sanitizer all over my wallet or something. Now I am carrying a different bag and stick it in a small side pocket so it is easy to get out and used.

Carolyn, good workouts this week. Are you doing another Cathe rotation? Funny my younger grandchildren were not real interested in Zoom. We talked to the 12 year old a bit and then she started adding crazy faces to herself on the computer and her brother was messing with things in the room, the other one wanted to go something more interesting I guess. I suppose being part of adult conversation is not much fun :)

Lori, Amazon does seem to have higher prices than normal for more on demand items. Or they are still waiting for stock. I ordered a new electric can opener since the magnet disappeared off of the one that I have and the lids end up inside the can with the food. I wash my cans when I put them in the cupboard and again when I use them, but still bothers me. Anyway I wanted the Cuisinart and it is temporarily out of stock. I ordered anyway and they are supposed to let me know when it is in. That one was not very much money and the ones that were not prime were over twice as much for the same can opener.
It is funny that people are making bread. I am having no problem buying bread and am able to get flour, unlike when this first started. The flour aisle is usually sparse though. I have found things like that more plentiful at the Dollar General store. I got cocoa powder there a couple of days ago. Making birthday cakes two weeks in a row took a lot of my baking supplies. I would like to hear if you find a good low carb bread recipe. For awhile I was trying some of those low carb bread sticks and biscuits for my husband. They took so much cheese though. Not good for me and cholesterol though and I really liked it.
