Oh my yes, lip fillers are a big mistake most of the time. If Hollywood people can't get it right, the rest of us shouldn't try. It seems to have gone out of style somewhat. I've had laser treatment for my skin. I have rosacea. or I did, for decades. I was getting some red inflamed areas and the meds didn't help. DH has it too. I think rosacea is contagious to some degree, since he is the only one in his family, and many in my family do. whatever! that is my opinion only. we both had a series of laser blasts and it made an amazing difference especially for me. my skin was getting painful, swollen sometimes. the laser took it all away. I was so happy with the results! I haven't used any topicals now for 10 years. DH still uses some. they are as expensive or more than the laser was. eventually both of us may need an eyelid lift. DH especially has drooping lids that will interfere with his vision eventually. I'm not opposed to cosmetic treatments, but would choose carefully, wisely. sometimes a cosmetic procedure is the best medical choice too, as it was for us. lip fillers and most botox seem excessive for insurance to cover.
this is a fairly new slow cooker, last 10 years or so. I remember some kind of safety issues where they didn't heat up fast enough, causing food safety issues, and manufacturers responded by upping the temps. mine works for beans and some soups but chicken texture was 'boiled". not so great. I am not too comfortable with leaving anything cooking while I'm not here, so not a high use thing for me. dates are awfully sweet and I'm so -so on the texture. I used to use them in baking. there was a recipe for a chocolate chip date cake that I just remembered. not sure how well that would fare these days with people limiting sugars.
Deb congrats on a good nights sleep. something so basic but so hard to get. The dentist's entire staff didn't stay, but many did and that helped the transition. It's a very nice office and short drive to get there. so many factors come into making it a comfortable process... or not.
I got sore spots from MTB so I'm not doing enough lately. didn't have trouble doing it, except lighter weight in my right hand for over head moves. I need to be more consistent with my workouts. my shoulder is bothering me again, same spot, same thing as before. I thought I was done with that. guess not.
