Pentagenarians & Beyond: W/B 4/29

Today I did 4 Day Split Kickboxing for 32 minutes and 231 calories burned. My average heart rate was 129 and maximum heart rate was 154. I followed that with 4 Day Split Heavy Weights Legs and Core. That part was 49 minutes and 175 calories burned. Average heart rate was 107 and maximum heart rate 129. I stopped the Fitbit between the cardio and weights and recorded the stats separately. My total workout time was 81 minutes and total calories burned was 406.

Deb, Step Blast is a fun step workout. It was a little challenging since I hadn’t done it for such a long time, but not enough to be frustrating. I keep my step at 4” for step workouts like that. Walking on the treadmill is a good choice when you just want to get moving, at least it is for me.

Valerie, getting back to your exercise routine will help you feel better and deal with the stress of your trip.

Lori, good job with SB and Lekfit workouts.

Hi to Judy and Diane Sue.

Good evening ladies,

This morning was an advanced lower body SB workout then a LEKfit bounce. My glutes are feeling this workout. 45 mins / 365 cal.

I love my hummels only because they were my moms. Not something I would collect but could never part with them knowing how much she loved them.

Deb...I know of lladro (pronounced yadro) and have a few pieces. Actually, my husband does. They were his dads. Funny how it is our parents that had these collections.

Valerie...funny how you described hummels!! So sorry with all the turmoil with your family. Very sad. Years ago being a flight attendant was glamorous. Not now. I can’t imagine being one with all the stuff they have to put up with.

Carolyn...great workout!!! If I do step it is eaither at 4 or 6. Never 8. Those days are long gone.

Diane Sue...I love bouncing! I am sure you know this already. :). Hoping SB comes out with some more. It has been a while. I am really enjoying LEKfit and very happy to have found this site. Today is my last day of BBS old app and new app. The old had quite a few bounce workouts that I will miss. I am ok with this. Started looking at all the BBS workouts I have...dvds and youtube and realize I have more than I thought so I am still happy. :)

Hi to Judy!!!

Have a great night all!

Today I did Urban Rebounding Extreme Metabolic Training with Gay Gasper, Cardio Metabolic Intervals using 2# sand weights through the cardio strength and 3# dumbbells for the final strength core segment, 54 minutes, heart rate average 136, max 178, 375 calories, 4,225 steps, met 6.3. I then put in Tracey Long Core Movements and did the workout on the disc that works, I think it is the Push Back one, and also did the core warm up on what I think is Bottoms Up. After that warm up , her voice is giving the cuing for Push Back and she is doing moves for what I believe is bottoms up. I was confused with it yesterday. The workout I did today is great. It has band walks and clams, core and more with a soft med ball, posture, and mobility stretch. She really does have some great stretch and mobility work on her workouts. This was 43 minutes, heart rate average 99, max 150, 565 steps, met 3.0, 142 calories. Total time was 97 minutes, 517 calories burned.
It has been a frustrating day. My car is doing the same thing it did before they "fixed" it in November. I never was able to get to the store today, so am trying to put together some things for family dinner tomorrow night.

Valerie, that is terrible that your sister called the lawyer like that. You have done so much with trying to help her. I am glad that you husband got rid of her message tirade. Maybe she needs to learn she has to take care of herself, and not expect others to do it. I feel bad for your brother when he has to deal with the lawyer. I can see exercise as a good outlet. You should not feel guilty for not spending time taking your sister shopping. You help her all of the time anyway. She sounds like one of those people that have these crazy expectations and pictures in their head of exactly how they think things are going to happen, and have themselves convinced it will, then get mad because it did not go their way.
As far as things hanging around the house, I have my mother's decorative plates that my daughter's did not want in a tote along with a whole collection of plates from all of the states and other countries we have visited. We used to have them hanging around the dining room in the house my son lives in. It was fun memories for awhile, but I got tired of taking them down to clean dust and just tired of looking at them. Most of my things sitting around were made by grandchildren :) My husband has his overseas stuff hanging around and on shelves and there is my paintings. I really have tried to get rid of so many things sitting around because I do not enjoy dusting them and I start feeling like it is cluttered. Probably because we are in a much smaller space than we used to be. I still have quite a collection of clocks. I don't know why I have so many. At least one in every room. One is wind up and has the pendulum, one was my mothers and is a ceramic victorian figure clock, one is a Seiko chime clock, among others. Both of the ones that chime are not allowed. My husband hates it. I used to like it, except for when I would doze off relaxing and the silly clock would ring every quarter of an hour. It had to stop.

Deb, I cannot imagine why they let the woman on the plane either. Lucky she went to sleep for the trip. I think the dvd may be one that was defective and she had replaced and thought it might be okay for me. It really did fine on the one workout, since it has two. It was nice she sent it too me. I will just know the other does not work and which one is the correct one to open on the menu as they seem to have the titles mixed up. Most places do not want the defective discs back. It costs them money to have them shipped for something that they would toss. They really have not choice on the driveway. Some of the neighbor's driveways are so tiny. One has an suv that they have to park diagonally in front of their garage if they leave it out. We have parking spaces nearby, but the HOA does not want people leaving their cars there overnight. Even guests! I have not heard any complaints though and I see some of the neighbors leave cars in those spaces a lot. I would not complain, myself. We pay for those spaces and our private road fee. When my grandchildren come and stay they park in those spaces. My husband and I have talked about seeing if we could get approved for an above ground storm shelter and getting one large enough for some storage. I wouldn't want to put things with fuel or anything like that in it though. I keep my yard sprays and stuff in the low vinyl one. It would seem they could not refuse that, but they might persist in the shelter being in the garage floor. I am not fond of having my house on top of my shelter if it went down. We did have one in our detached garage at our last home.

Carolyn, I think it makes a bit of a difference when separating the weight monitoring from the cardio. I was reading stuff on the FitBit and how it works last night and it admitted that things like yoga that do not have a lot of movement may require someone who wants accuracy to edit it to read differently. Which is what I do. There is no way that yoga would get a reading of around 1 met score. That is where it would be for me with the Fit Bit which is the same as sitting doing nothing. Weights that are done slower and not so much movement are never near accurate either. Particularly when I am sweating and straining over it. I do better with faster paced higher reps with weights with the FitBit readings. But, it is a guide and motivator.

Lori, I hope that rebounding stays popular for a very long time so that there are more workouts made :) I think there was an era with our parents that it was the thing to collect "knick knacks" or "what nots" and collectables. My mother in law gave my older daughter a whole shelf and all of her tiny figurines that she had. I remember my grandmother having a lot of the tiny figures sitting in her windowsills. The little elves and animals fascinated me as a child. Now I would probably not be so pleased to deal with them :) But they were fun. I have a whole set of small Christmas buildings, elves, santa, mrs claus etc. that has been a tradition for my grandchildren to put inside my glass top coffee table to make a Christmas scene. I pack them away every year and we get them out again.

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday I did Body Beast Bulk Arms and Beast Abs. Today I did an indoor ride in the morning and went for a short walk in the afternoon. It was so nice to get out in the sun again! I'm going to get out as much as I can this week.

Deb-I slept a little better last night. I'm trying hard not to have any caffeine after noon. It seems like the earlier I stop the caffeine the better and if I have any later in the afternoon it really keeps my from sleeping.

Lori-Maybe I should try working out in the evening and see if it helps my sleep. It's nice that you have your mom's hummels. I have a few things of my mom's that I cherish too.

Carolyn-Great workout today! That's one of my favorites.

Diane Sue-I'm sorry about your car. That is frustrating. We have the same issue with parking here. We have parking spaces on the condo grounds but the HOA doesn't want us to use them overnight or for guests. We only have single car garages and single space driveways so it gets challenging at times to have enough parking space. It sounds like a good idea to get an above ground storm shelter.

Valerie-I agree with Diane Sue, you shouldn't ever feel guilty for not taking your sister shopping. You do so much for her and she is lucky to have you.

Have a good night!

Judy

I hardly had any sleep last night. Three nights 7 hours and last night I watched the clock. I couldn't clear my mind of all of the clutter. I thought maybe switching my Joint Vibrance to evening was helping my sleep. At least it seemed to be till last night. I think today I may do arms and some cardio. I really have not planned anything this week.

Judy, I have found I get the best sleep with no caffeine. It definitely makes a difference, unless I have some worries, then sleep loss is almost guaranteed.
Your neighborhood sounds like ours. We have had some beautiful sunny days lately. I have enjoyed them. It is supposed to rain today.

Good morning,

Yesterday I did FS Push Day, the weight only premix. 32 minutes, 131 calories. I inadvertently ended early, she does a stretch type cool down which I thought was the end, so I stopped my HRM etc, then Cathe starts the real cool down. Oh well, I will know better next time.

Valerie, that is too bad that all those specialist etc could not help your sister's problems. I would not feel guilty about leaving without taking her shopping. You had enough going one, with travel and the funeral etc. If it was not for you, she would not have even been able to attend the funeral.

Carolyn, even a 4" step with a Cathe step workout is a challenge! Good job.

Lori, I can understand why you want to keep the hummels. Yes, that is how it is spelled...I forgot that. :). We actually have another that we bought in Mexico at an airport....it is a fox terrier with a butterfly landing on his tail. He is turned around looking at it like he is thinking" What the heck is that?"....It looks just like one of our previous dogs so we had to buy it.

Diane Sue, that is so frustrating about your car. They should take it back and give you a free loaner until they fix it right. We have a lot of wire fox terrier figurines, that John got on Ebay when we first started with the breed. They were all out on shelves before we had the living room painted. I had to box them all up so we would move the entertainment center etc, and I left them in the boxes when the painting was completed. Like you with some of the stuff you had around, I just don't want to look at them any more.

Judy, glad you got some sleep. You are probably correct, it's caffeine too late in the day. As we get older, I think its effect is stronger on us.

Kylee and I have 2 "stress relief" events this morning at the university....Its exam time and the students are stressed!

Take care,

I didn’t get a workout done this morning. I woke up with a headache and just didn’t feel up to it. My head feels much better now.

Diane Sue, that is awful that you continue to have the same issue with your car. That problem should still be covered by the warranty since it is a continuation and not new. I can see why you didn’t get enough sleep last night.

Deb, great job with Push Day. I have done the same thing with stopping the Fitbit before that workout is over. The stress relief visit probably works both ways with benefits for you as well as the students.

Judy, good job with Body Beast. I have to be careful of afternoon coffee after 2:00. It doesn’t always affect my sleep, but I try not to test it. I do like a cup of coffee after lunch. I have started adding almond milk to my afternoon cup to reduce the caffeine intake.

Hi to Lori and Valerie.

This morning I did Les Mills Combat Ultimate Warrior, 54 minutes, 357 calories, met 6.0, 4,558 steps, heart rate average 135, max 177. I then did X Train burn sets biceps and triceps, 42 minutes, 204 calories, met 4.0, heart rate average 110, max 155, 790 steps. Total time was 96 minutes and calories burned 561.
Weights
biceps curls 20# dbs, 10,10,10 reps
simultaneous rotational curl 20# 24,24,16 reps
seated concentration curl 20# 10,10,10 reps
crazy 8's 12# dbs 24 reps
triceps push ups 3 sets
flat bench triceps extensions 15# dbs, 10,10, 12 reps
one arm kickbacks 15# 10,10,12 reps
standing overhead triceps extensions tubing

I had set up an appointment with the dealership on my car and a tow truck come out. He thought the battery was dead and then he looked under the hood and my battery cable was loose and moving around. He tightened it all up an it started. This has happened to me twice now and the other time it started up after I left it alone for awhile. I hope that remains all that was the problem. Anyway pleased that the tow truck guy did not have me sign any papers or anything. They said at the dealership it should be free as my car is under 5 years old and only has 12500 miles on it. I made quick run to Sprouts since my car is here and running just to see if it started up to come back home. It ran fine :) Now to get the Range Rover fixed.

Deb, my oldest daughter is 42 and she was complaining about not being able to sleep if she had caffeine other than in the morning. She used to drink a lot of coffee with caffeine. My younger daughter has he in laws living at their house right now and she says they are up half the night making noise and brewing coffee at 4 am. Then they complain about needing a nap during the day. I don't know how they manage to drink coffee non stop like that. They eat tons of sweets and junk. It is no wonder they are in poor health. If I did that I would be miserable. Fox terriers are cute. I remember when we had our English Bulldog and having a lot of English bulldog stuff sitting around. I have done the same thing with that workout. I thought it was a really short stretch and stopped my Fit Bit only to find that the there was more to come.

Carolyn, I am glad the headache is much better. I kind of thought they should cover the car too. So, it seems to be running today and hopefully this is all there is to it. I was having a hard time sleeping, thinking about both vehicles needing repaired and not having a car. Things were looking up today as I had family offer loaners. I still am worried about the cost on the Range Rover, but at least we have the one car to share and the motorcycle for nice weather. There are so many things going on this month with the wedding next Thursday and graduations and birthdays. I sometimes forget when we go out in the evening for dinner and I get iced tea and wonder why I cannot sleep.

Thank you.. I don't feel guilty. it was a hard process for everyone but I did my duty, picked her up, dropped her off when no one else would. . there really was not enough time to do what she apparently wanted on sunday. she has never traveled. knows nothing about time, distance, security check ins, rental car issues or the badly marked highways. what she wanted would have been half a day project at least. It was my mothers funeral too. I was the only one who traveled any distance. a nice lunch with cousins 10 min from the airport was aa relaxing end to the visit, rather than a frantic grocery shopping trip. maybe she will leave me alone for a while.

I agree on iced tea, tea, and soda being sneaky caffeine sources. chocolate too. I sometimes have part of a cup of coffee at lunch, if I didn't finish my morning coffee. I used to drink more coffee, but it's like it doesn't metabolize or burn off like it did when I was young.

we did a cross country this morning 4 hours. it was a fair amount of work! new ski boots that are too big so will get a blister, but sizing down will be too short. need fatter socks. still plenty of snow higher up, and will be for a while yet but we don't ski steep terrain.

Electronics have changed so fast, maybe the car dealer doesn't know what is really wrong?? I would be back on their doorstep until they figure it out.
Our refrigerator ice machine won't be fixed for a while. there was a wire pinched off inside the door somewhere and after however many times opening and closing, it clipped it off. so 6 weeks for a new door.

Good evening ladies,

This morning I realized I still had 1 more day of BBS and I took advantage. Today was upper body...I started out with a couple of arm targets. The first was using bands and the second was light weights. She used 3lbs but I felt strong enough to go with 8lbs. My arms were completely exhausted in a good way. I then did a 20 min advanced bounce. Total time was 47 mins / 302 cal. I started looking thru my dvds and YouTube workouts I have of BBS. I have converted them all and have them in segments. They will be great to mix and max - dance, weights and bounce. I have more than I thought so it will be good to use the workouts I actually bought!

Diane Sue...amazing workouts the past few days. That stunk about your car...glad it was all resolved quickly. Fingers crossed!!! I do love christmas collectables. Such a nice tradition with your grandchildren. Rebounding has been around for a while so thinking it will continue on in one form or another. It does seem to be more popular right now. So I agree hoping this popular trend continues. :)

Judy...you are doing great with Body Beast. My son now wants to buy adjustable dumbbells for his apartment. Makes complete sense. I have never used them so have no experience. Told him to do his research because they are not cheap. I am sure he will ask me to pay for them and to add it to his bill. Lol! He is lucky to have me as his mom. He does eventually pay me back so all is good. He loves working out here but would rather workout at his new home...I think we all get this!

Deb...I am missing some of the FS workouts. Especially Push and Pull. I loved these. Tomorrow’s Live workout looks great. Can’t wait to preview this one. Lol on the spelling. I had to double check with my husband that it had two LL’s as I was not sure.

Carolyn...glad the headache did not last. I love almond milk and wish I could drink it in my coffee. But nope...my coffee needs to be black and hot. On hot days when people are enjoying iced coffee I am the one drinking it hot no mater what the temp is. I am so funny like this.

Valerie...you have nothing to feel guilty of!!! Glad you got in a great cc workout in today. Bet it felt great (other than the blister :( )

Have a great night all!!!

Hi Everyone,

This morning I did BB Bulk Chest. I felt like doing more so I rested for about 30 minutes and did Bulk Back. I am enjoying the Beast workouts but I'm starting to miss Cathe so I will be adding in some STS and other workouts soon.

Deb-I didn't have any caffeine after 11 am today so hopefully it will help. I've always loved Fox Terriers. They are so cute.

Diane Sue-I used to be able to consume caffeine all day long and had no trouble with sleeping. Menopause definitely changed that. I should try just having my morning coffee then no caffeine after that.
I agree about worry and stress. That always makes me lose sleep, regardless of caffeine intake.

Carolyn-Almond milk in coffee sounds very good. I'm sorry about your headache. I'm glad you feel better now.

Valerie- 4 hours of cross country skiing is a great workout! Sorry about the blister :(

Lori-Your son is lucky to have you as a mom! I've never used adjustable dumbbells either but I've heard good things about them.

Have a good night!

Judy

Valerie, that is nice that you had a nice relaxing visit with your cousins before you left. I am sure the skiing was nice and helped you relax some. Did you decide to keep the ski boots or are these another pair. I was thinking the ones you purchased recently were too big. Sorry they are so big that you get blisters. Dark chocolate is something that I love and the higher percent cacao the better. I got one once that was 90% and one of my grandchildren wanted a bite and spit it out :) I have had to learn not to eat it before bed as it gives me reflux and keeps me awake. I like it without much sweet to it. I would say the pinched wire in the refrigerator door was poor design. Mine has a hole in the seal because the drawer has a sharp point on the corner and if let go when not completely opened the door flops back and hits it.

Lori, that is nice that you had one more day of Body by Simone to use. I have watched some of the videos that she does and they look like they would be fun. Good for you going up to 8#. I bet it was tough. I also looked at Lekfit and she seems so tiny. That is great that you have such a variety of those workouts to put together :) Yes, your son should check around. I have Bowflex select tech that go to 52# each, with the stand that has wheels. To me it depends on what you are doing with them. I have had them for about 6 years now. When I have used them at the higher weight levels I have had them lock up and not come out of the holders several times. I had to contact Bowflex and I have a printout somewhere with suggestions. I used to lift the whole platform off the stand and try to work it to get them to come off. I haven't had a problem in a couple of years though. I periodically take them off and lift off the weights to clean them really good. You just have to remember exactly where those weight plates go when you put them back in. I had a grandchild try to disassemble one of them once. Anyway, sometimes they seem bulky. They are much larger than my individual hex dumbbells. Fine for things like squats, deadlifts, concentration curls etc.. Maybe it is just because I am used to the hex dumbbells. I found it uncomfortable doing curls while in the squat position with Amy Bento's workout. I have been using them for my 20's since my husband has my single weights. The blocks look more uncomfortable to me. I see them using them on Fitness Blender. Also, maybe it would be different if I was a big guy using them instead of me :) I find myself clunking them together. Chalean used them in Chalean Extreme. Yes, your son is lucky to have you. I am sure he appreciates your help and your interest in fitness. Bowflex was quick to respond when I had questions. Even when I had the Bowflex they helped when my bench started cracking and sent me out a whole new bench seat. I discovered later that the hole and crack was from a screw that was not in all of the way and it hit it when it was folded up.

Diane sue, we exchanged the "really big" boots for one size down. these are still too big, but another size down would be short. the inside volume of the boot is big. I'm trying an extra sole insert and fluffier socks. blister area is sore but didn't blister. too much sliding around inside the boot.
the repair person said the wires were slightly out of place from manufacturing, sloppiness, nothing we had anything to do with. you would think that wiring could be replaced easily, but no, need an entirely new door.

Deb the cousins we had lunch with are the ones who had fox terriers. they don't have one right now because the last one was a psycho dog and had to be put down. I hope they get another. little guys are so darn cute... but you know that.

Good morning,

No workout yesterday, it was a scramble to shop for dog food ingredients, do the 2 events at the university with Kylee, make the dog food and then go to agility class. We had a good time at the stress events, but after 2 hours of being “mauled” Kylee was ready to go home. I was too!

Carolyn, I have the headache you had the other day. . I think it has to do with the change in the barometric pressure. Glad yours is better.

Diane Sue, I hope that your battery problem was what was happening and it is now fixed. I used to drink coffee all day at work, then had to stop earlier in the day so I could sleep. When I worked 2nd shift, I would drink it all the way up to midnight, go home and be asleep by 12:30 am. No issues at all. Not any more. Funny how we have stopped short of the actual stretch with that workout.

Valerie, yes, travelling has become a dreaded stressful thing nowadays. Then add the purpose of the travel, and it is even more of a stressful event. That's horrible about the door to your refrigerator. That is too bad about your cousin's fox terrier, but I guess that could happen with any breed.

Lori, great workouts. I think with YouTube etc, rebounding, or bouncing will be around for a while. I read the description of today's Live workout, will be going over there to look at the clip later today after it is posted. She has been doing a lot of great Live workouts recently. I see there is another Vertical Loading....I love that format.

Judy, I didn't connect menopause with the caffeine or sleep issues, but you are probably right. It really started around that time. I guess with the slowing down of our metabolisms, caffeine is not removed from our systems as quickly as it used to be.

Take care,

I can have a little extra coffee if we are doing something endurance based, like a long ride hike or ski. Still needs to be done by 12:30 or 1. Also ok if we are driving and I stay up later. I’m not sure I was ever anyone who could drink coffee in the evening. I allow 8 hours for it to process.

Caroline ...on this flight we did not realize the benefits of the seat upgrade, but wanted two seats together and this was what was left. We got to board right after first class, and more leg room. Free drinks. Still need to pay for food. Of course the free drinks gave us the drunk in front of us, so that was a negative.

Have a doctor appt this am and then Costco run and maybe a ride this afternoon

This morning I did Muscle Max—I love this workout. My time was 1 hour 21 minutes with 339 calories burned. Average heart rate was 111 and maximum heart rate was 152.

Deb, I’m pretty sure that my headache was caused by the change in barometric pressure. We seem to share that problem. The recent Live workout looks like a good one.

Diane Sue, I’m glad that your car problem was easily fixed. Your granddaughter’s wedding is next week? How exciting. You do have a lot going on.

Judy, I miss Cathe workouts too when I go too long with other workouts. The almond milk in my afternoon coffee is a recent addition. When I really want another cup but I know I have had enough, I’ll add the milk.

Lori, I’m very impressed that you used 8# weights with that upper body workout. Your arms must have been fried. I too like my coffee strong and black! Occasionally I add almond milk and call it dessert :).

Valerie, the seat upgrade sounds like a good choice even with the drunk. My husband has a lot of stiffness in his legs especially after sitting. He can’t be cramped into those plane seats anymore.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Today I did Urban Rebounding Extreme for cardio doing URX-MT Amy Bento Bootcamp first 15 minutes (too much jumping both feet on and off the rebounder) 101 calories, heart rate 133 average, 173 max, 1,275 steps, met 6.1. I then did URX-MT Amy Bento Kickbox Metabolic Intervals which is a favorite with some off and on the rebounder but not flying both feet off and on. This was 54 minutes, average heart rate 135, max 177, 387 calories, met 6.5, 4,519 steps. I finished off with Fit Split Bonus Abs 13 minutes, met 3.5, 50 calories, 231 steps. TOtal time was 82 minutes, 538 calories, steps so far this morning is 6,791. I have been getting a lot more steps lately with the different cardio and doing spring work inside and outside. :)

Deb, I bet Kylee was ready to get away from being "mauled" You had a very busy day. I need to make dog treats and give Gertie a bath today. The next three days will be too busy for much extra stuff. We had storms last night and I woke up this morning with a terrible headache. I was able to get past it though after a couple of hours without taking anything. At first the rebounder was making it throb some, but that went away as well.

Valerie, I have found adding shoe inserts sometimes do help with shoe and boot fit, because I have to have plenty of toe space but need the back of the shoe to fit better so I understand how the ski boots would really be a problem with movement.

Carolyn, yes, the wedding is Thursday. My daughter is going to suddenly have a fairly empty huge house. One daughter is getting married and the other is going to be a nanny through the summer and travelling with the family and then off to college and dorms in August. Just the 7 year old little boy will be there. He is not happy about his family leaving home. I was in shock when I heard how much the wedding stuff costs. All I can say is wow. We have a birthday party for the one turning 4 on Sunday. Just lots of events.

Good evening ladies,

I did not care for the SB workout for today so I subbed in the most recent LEKfit bounce. I did all the intervals with it, both upper and lower. My legs are feeling this. Her sculpting intervals get you so fatigued. Going to make sure I get one of these in every week. So I guess I will have BBS for another year. I was a little annoyed this morning when I signed on just to make sure it cancelled and I discovered I still had access to the workouts. It auto renewed for a year. When I looked last week and on Monday it said subscription cancelled. So not sure what happened and my cc was charged. I was kind of pissed but got over it rather quickly since I love BBS. It goes away in a year due to her new app so this will not happen again.

Usually with BBS, LEKfit or SB’s high rep workouts they use 5lbs due to the fast movement, but I have noticed at times I could have gone heavier so I went with it. As long as there are no lateral moves -then I keep to 5’s especially high reps.

Judy...wow great workout today!!!!!! Nice!!

Diane Sue...BBS and LEKfit are a lot of fun...yes Lauren (LEKfit) is really lean!! Love her personality and energy. She is all about her streamers and clients. She just started a Live Instagram Chat every Thursday that I listen too. She is a lot of fun. One of her celebrities that is a regular in her classes and Live classes will be having her own Late Night Talk Show. Her name is Busy Phillips and the show will be Busy Tonight. I feel like I know her so it will be great to see her do this. Lol! I remember the ones Chalean uses. My son didn’t like all the negative reviews with the Bowflex so pretty sure he will go with another brand. Sounds like Bowflex has great customer service though. Is that the Urban extreme workout with amy on YouTube? If yes, then I agree way too much on and off the trampoline. Weddings are soooo expensive now. Crazy expensive. Yes you do have a lot the next few weeks.

Valerie...I am the same way. If I am doing something endurance based then some caffiene is fine. Otherwise, no later than 3pm for me. Hope you got your ride in.

Carolyn...It is great you loved muscle max. There are some workouts that are tough but I just love them and you feel great afterwards.

Deb...I am fortunate that I very rarely get headaches. I feel for those that do. Yes, I keep thinking I am going tho cancel Live but I love the workouts she has been doing. Even though I have not been doing much Cathe with this SB Rotation, I still like having her around.. :) hoping Kylee is ok after this event.

Have a great night all!

Lori, I would be pretty irritated if I cancelled something and they didn't do it. If I pay with PayPal I go to PayPal and make sure authorization for renewel is not allowed. Yes, both of the Amy Bento URX workouts are on youtube. I used to do the bootcamp a lot. I just couldn't today.
My low back and right hip hurts and jumping that hard off onto the floor and back on repeatedly was just not good. I sort of hopped walked off then started bouncing side to side instead. Then she started jumping off into jacks on the floor and I was done with it. The Kickbox is not as bad she has off the rebounder stuff, but you generally have a foot on the rebounder and are not jumping with both feet off and on. There is also a step onto it in a lunge with one foot jump on one foot on the rebounder and then step back into an lunge. The only thing I had problems with was the core/abs where she is on the rebounder and walks out quickly with her hands and back up to standing. It hurt, because I am sore, so I was slow and careful. She did many more reps than me. Anyway that is my favorite of hers. I like Keli Roberts Poly Performance Plyometric one, and one of Patrick Goudeaus that only uses weights on the abs and strength at the end. Oh, And I really like all of Greg Cooks. He pretty much repeats the same patterns in his with a strenght move fit in. He puts a lot of core in them. I watched a television interview about the Lekfit workouts on youtube.

I got a lot done today. No car to go out and run errands means getting more accomplished at home :) I really need to go shopping though. I am afraid I may be fitting that in this weekend between the events of the weekend. I turned the shower on to warm up the water since it takes awhile to warm up in the master bath and Gertie ran in and got in the shower. I didn't even have the towels and shampoo along with cookies out yet. She is so funny :) I used the furminator deshedding shampoo and took her outside to dry out in the sun and wind so I could brush her well. I had to clean up again outside due to the storms yesterday.
