Good morning,
A good day at the trial yesterday, Kylee qualified in both classes that I had her entered in.
banana016.gif
She was such a good girl. We were suppose to have rain, which makes it tough for the trial....taking dogs in and out in the rain to make sure they have done all their "business" before entering the ring can be ugly. It was vey cold yesterday, but no rain. I have 2 videos of Kylee, I will post here when I get a chance to upload to YouTube.

Lori, I saw that workout from this last Thursday, it looked like fun. How did you like it? It must be hard to choose between Cathe Live workouts and SB's. I guess that is why you do 2 a day...LOL. I saw "Diesel" the Basset Hound do is back scratching thing Live yesterday at our trial. Poor handler was trying her best to get him to stop and start the course. All the spectators were shouting for him to get up and get moving. :). Hope you got a chance to get your patio set up.

Valerie, sorry about the news on your brother. You have said before that he did nothing to take care of himself and expected something like this to happen eventually, and now it has. That is so frustrating, someone as young as that and not paying attention to what he has to do. Those kitties were very lucky to be adopted by you. :). I have only seen tin ceilings in restaurants here, never in a home, so not sure if regional or just the newest thing coming around. I think they look great.

Lynda, they had all types of rescue people there for the dog....it was too late I guess. Not sure where the water goes that is in that drain...I hope your shoulder is better, when was the last shot...a while ago if I remember.

Diane Sue, look for those Beachbody workouts on Ebay, you may be able to get used at a lower price. Some people get the workouts, find that they don't like them, or don't actually do them and sell on Ebay. I have gotten a lot from there.

Hi to Josie & Judy,

Showing both dogs today, this should be interesting. Wish me luck,

Have a good weekend!

Deb good luck with the doggies today and their showing.

Yes, my brother has been completely resistant to doing anything he should. this might be too late to have any kind of good outcome. when circulation gets impaired... just the start of big trouble. they need to remove as much tissue as necessary and often it starts with something like a toe and advances up the leg, or goes to the other leg. and the healing process is often slowed, and more prone to infection etc. this could get ugly quickly. when I last visited I took a blood glucose meter with me. I worked in the field of home glucose monitoring for 16 years. I tried to convince him his docs weren't blowing smoke about what was needed and showed him how easy home testing was. didn't work.

yesterday, I did 25 minutes on the treadmill, running is feeling OK again. parts of the ICE 'to the mat", therapy exercises, and core one along with a load of knee push ups.

I am still finding weird issues with outlook and the phone. Our neighbors email and phone got erased from the desktop but is right there in both old and new phones. It isn't even easy to erase a contact! another friend has an old device for mail, not really a computer. her address was erased. when I reentered it, duplicated itself. It was like reentering her name reactivated the old listing! I had to delete the extra entry several times. then her email response to us "attached itself" to another email thread, one with a different person whose name/ address was not remotely similar. this stuff is so bizarre I'm not sure how to describe it to CS.

Hi everyone--

This morning I did Live You Can do anything for a minute (50 min.). I had to modify some, not all, of the impact, but I thought this was fun with so many activities packed into the workout. It really flies by.

Deb, good luck with the Ks today. Can't wait to see your videos.

Eye in the Sky is emotionally manipulative (I won't explain how because it might be a spoiler), but does manage to convey how difficult this kind of military targeting is--the decision-making involved is harrowing. Nice to see Alan Rickman and Helen Mirren as usual at the top of their form. Not a bad film to see this time of the year when most of what is available is pretty ho-hum unless you are deeply into superheroes or CG effects--The Jungle Book.

GOT and Veep start again tonight, and the GW is down to 3 episodes. A lot of good TV to watch or record for later.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Good morning,

A great weekend although I am sore and exhausted. Kyle qualified yesterday, so that makes her 3 for 3. Keegan crashed and burned, I have to seriously consider retiring him from agility competition. Here are 2 runs, ( hope this works!)

One is called Jumpers with Weaves ( it has no obstacles to climb, just jumps, tunnels and weave poles:

Here is her Standard run from yesterday, all obstacles, tunnels weaves, jumps are included:

Valerie, isn't your brother married? what does his wife think about how he ignores his health? Your phone issues are down right spooky!

Lynda, that movie is about drones correct? sounds interesting. We had a customer in our warehouse that sold recreational drones...some were up to $3k! Crazy. I have so many Live workouts that I want to try, I have to get my butt in gear...thanks for the info on the newest one.

Hi to Josie, Judy, Diane Sue, & Lori

A workout, and Dr appointment this morning,

Take care,

Deb, that's quite an impressive performance for Kylee. You get a bit of a workout in the process too. Very cool. Thanks for posting that!.Must take a lot of practice.

Deb, I don't have much of a relationship with the SIL. I moved away in the '70's and didn't have any contact with brother and wife at all. I know I didn't go to their wedding but I have no memory of why. my brother used to travel for work a lot and he never was there when I went back to visit. consequently, I don't know her very well. I've only met his kids once or twice, a couple years ago. No one ever came to visit me. His wife and their kids all weigh about 300 lbs so no great healthy living examples. they are tall, but not tall enough!. as far as I know they don't have diabetes yet. His wife doesn't cook at all, a total take out diet. she has bad arthritis and has had several knee replacements. she is smart and quick though, as are the kids. I just heard one of them is about to be a father. the kids don't speak to their father either. I am from a strange family ... like to think I'm the normal one.

Anyway, going on a short trip this week and will check in when I can. might be out of data range most of the time. Have a great week everyone.

Hi everyone--

This morning I did both Ice Sweat workouts (46 min.).

Deb, what fun to watch Kylee perform! Quite a smart little girl. I can see how you are getting a workout at the same time. Yes, the film is about drone warfare. I will have to find out if there are actually these tiny little drones that look like bugs and used for penetrating and spying on the target. It seemed a little too good to be true.

Have a great trip, Valerie! Yes, your family does sound dysfunctional in many ways and it's wonderful that you survived with a good head on your shoulders and a self-protective armor to remain immune to their incredible bad health habits. On the email front, the college shifted everyone from Outlook Express to gmail a couple years ago and since then, there has been a noticeable improvement in how everything works. Is it possible for you to shift to gmail??

Off to finish some reading for the seminar tomorrow.

Deb, thanks for the video. It looks like Kylie did a great job. I have done quite a lot of the live workouts now. I am approaching 2 months of Cathe Live and have done 60. I am going to cancel it for awhile after this month though. I want to work on body part specific heavier stuff for awhile and miss my dvds. I guess I should have thought of checking ebay. My daughter sold some of the dvds I did not want anymore on an online garage sale. I sold workouts like Turbo Jam and the main set of Insanity. I just kept the deluxe set. I know I will not be doing Insanity much. I may have mentioned that she was raising money for a well in Haiti so it went to a good cause.

Valerie, your new phone sounds like a mystery. I give up on mine for awhile. Too much frustration and mine is not the iPhone.

Lynda, I have a gmail account but only use it for some log ins that seem to require it on my tablet and phone. I have kept the same one for years.

Good evening ladies!

Yesterday I did Live You Can do Everything for a minute. I enjoyed it and it did fly by as mentioned by Lynda. This mornining was SB Lower Body Combo Targets. The hamstring workout on the ball really gets you. This is only a 23 min workout so I followed up with Adv Lower Body Barre Fire. Wow these two together fried my legs. I used 1.5lb ankle weights on both which was awesome. This was my only workout. Came home and was tired from all the yard/patio work this weekend. Our outside patio is looking so pretty. We mulched and planted flowers plus added some solar lighting. We also added coil lighting around the edging. Really looks beautiful.

Deb...thanks for sharing Kylee's videos. I loved them! What a great doggie!

Valerie...I am so sorry to hear of your brothers health issues. I am so thankful I am in such good control of my diabetes. When I first was diagnosed when I turned 40 I remember my endocrinologist telling me this can be in your control. Take good care of yourself. I listened and did exactly what he said. Almost 15 years later and all is still good for me. Hard work but worth it. Very sad when siblings lose contact. I have no relationship at all with 2 of my 4 brothers. It hurt at first but I have move on. Been so long that one day I said in front of my son "my brother Brian" and my son said...you have a brother Brian? Since when? Now that is sad! Enjoy your trip. I look forward to hearing about it.

Lynda....so what is your take on GOT? So much happened yet I felt I needed more from the first episode! Still thinking JS will be back.

Diane Sue...the Tin Ceiling looks very nice. I love the look of tin. We did a bronze tin black splash this winter and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. For the You Can Do Anything workout I subbed in my dumbbells and they worked fine. I gave my barbell to my son and do not regret this decision at all. 98 minutes! Now that is a great workout!

Ho to Judy and Josie!

Lorie, I love the tin ceiling look. My husband said someone said something to him about doing our back splash in the kitchen. I was a little worried about trying to keep it clean over the stove. It really does need redone. It is really old and has little metal edging. We are working from the top down to redo all of it and my husband wants to build me cabinets built out of the wall in the dining room so I have more storage space. Your yard work sounds nice. I transplanted the cannas and they are taking off. I put some in a pot for now. I finally got rid of them in the front by the driveway but, I also got rid of the grass. I used stump killer on them because even with all of the digging my grandson and I did they kept coming back. I transplanted some morning glories from the front planter and put them on our back wall with a metal trellis. It looks like they are going to take off too. My daughter bought me a new little amish wagon that I had on the walkway with potted flowers. I need tofill my empty pots. My roses are blooming and my hydrangea which is in a pot is blooming but it is pink. I put some aluminum salts in the soil today and watered it in well. I need to find ph tests for the soil. Is the coil lighting like rope lighting? I want to get some hanging solar lighting. I have the ground ones but Gertie knocks them over running and I put some in the planter by the doorstep and have had guests trip over them.
I don't know why I didn't just use dumbbells for all of the barbell work. I generally go heavier when I use the dumbbells. I really don't like front squats and plies holding the bar in front. I always end up going lighter because it makes my elbows hurt and stresses my shoulders. I can do it heavier just too hard with the bar in front.

Good morning,

Yesterday I did Live Metabolic Conditioning. I like this one a lot. Well the rain we needed has come. It has rained all night. The yard should be easier to weed now. :).

Valerie, Have a good trip! Yes, lots of training involved in agility. As for the workout, mostly its the dog that gets any benefit from it. Kylee really enjoys it. Keegan? not so much. I agree with Lynda, you are the level headed one, and probably fortunate that you are not living closer. I have Outlook, not Outlook Express....there is a difference. I had issues with Outlook Express....not like you are having, but remember being told it was not as "robust" as the regular Outlook program.

Lynda, I did see or read something about those drones that are as small as bugs. Scary for sure. Not sure I remember if you mentioned what the seminar is about?

Diane Sue, thanks for the info on that workout...I have that on my "to do" list. I have not done as many of the Live as you have...wow...60 is amazing.

Lori, you need to post a pic or 2 of your patio, would love to see it. That SB sounds like a great workout, but "ouch"...any leg workout with the stability ball is going to hurt. LOL. Sad about not having a relationship with your other 2 brothers.. Not sure how this happens in families, but it does more that we think. I only have one brother, and if we were not speaking etc, I would be heartbroken.

Hi to Josie & Judy,

A workout, finish the dog food processing, mani/pedi today, and staying dry... :).

Take care,

Hi everyone--

This morning I did Live Giant Sets (42 min.).

Deb, the seminar was with a former president of Williams who is writing a memoir. The Humanities Center where I have my office this semester is named after him and he has a permanent office here and participates in all the seminars. The chapter we read was about his years of service in the British army--early 1950s. He is originally from Liverpool. It was fun to read and talk about because he's a good writer--an historian of the Middle Ages. We are finally getting some rain here as well--much needed.

Lori, I thought the first episode of GOT was all over the place and pretty depressing except for Brienne rescuing Sansa and Reek. The red witch (Melisandre?)--is she going to bring Jon Snow back to some kind of unnatural life?? Her mirror image suggests she is really old (immortal?). I was pretty close to all three of my sisters. In fact, I am finally going to scatter my oldest sister's ashes into San Francisco Bay on June 3. A long story--I have had these ashes since 2000. Her second husband remarried his first wife (he divorced her to marry my sister) after she died and he was suffering from dementia and I didn't trust his first wife with my sister's ashes (no love lost there). Very complicated story, but my sister made it clear to me that the happiest years of her life were with her first husband in San Francisco. She never apparently expressed any plans for her final resting place as far as I know, and if she ever told her second husband, he probably forgot. Totally zany funeral and obituary planned by someone with dementia. Who sings the national anthem at a funeral????

Diane Sue, I envy all of your blooming flowers. It is only 38 degrees here today. Spring is barely here at all.

Today I did Cathe Live Kick box Boot camp, 57 minutes, 360 calories, hr. 128 avg. / 155 max. I have the hardest time getting my heartrate up there. I even did fast feet while doing the tabata heavybag move. I also did the stability ball abs and stretch from Cardio Boxing and Stablity ball abs, 15 min. 54 calories. This was hard with those holds with feet off the floor and ball overhead off the floor because I used my bosu ballast ball. Kickbox Boot Camp has kickboxing then half the women remove their gloves and do weight work that is compound along with some burpees, then they switch places. The second half has some different weight work and no burpees and the second half that dies the heavybag has an added jack and bag to it. I did both heavy bag groups and skipped the weights. When this is done they all do some weight work and core using weights, they are done with the gloves. This is the first Cathe Live workout and you can tell they were working on it a bit. I was just about to give it up when Cathe was facing away from the viewer for awhile but she finally turned. It is a good workout. I can see doing all of the weights for both and going back and doubling up on the heavybag. Just something I might attempt. I really did not want to much in the way of weights today since yesterday was weight work and I wanted to do legs tomorrow or a total body. I need to see what I did not do yet.
They are saying severe storms here pretty soon. Warnings of possible baseball size hail and tornadoes. Some of the schools are letting parents come and get their children early. Others are not having school. Everyone is fearful after the one school in Moore Oklahoma being hit. No time to get anyone out. My son was feeling so bad for the people in the 7 Eleven store. They had taken people in and they all went inside the freezer. The tornado hit and people died anyway. He had to go there because he takes care of getting out work crews for 7 eleven and building the new stores. I am hoping that I get to the dentist and back before they hit. I have experienced being out when the storms hit and it is not pleasant sitting in a line of cars trying to get home and seek shelter while hail is pounding your car and tornado sirens are going off.

Deb, I may have done more workouts than that and missed marking them on the sheet. I need to go back through my agenda book and make sure they are all marked. If I try one and only do part of it I make a note. I realized when I was doing one the other day that I had done it before. It wasn't marked but when I went back over my agenda book I had done it at the start of doing Cathe Live.

Good evening ladies!

No workout this morning. This afternoon was 21d barre legs. This was my only workout. My hamstrings are really feeling yesterday's workout.

Deb...I'll take some pictures this weekend. During the day and at night for the full affect of the lights. I do not understand my brothers and I feel I did not warrant their treatment. Oh well. Their loss! I am sad for my son though not knowing his uncles. Plus he is a clone of my Dad. He looks more like our Dad then any of my brothers and his personality traits are eerily similar. Strange how this skipped a generation. Like I said...their loss.

Lynda...yes I feel the same way about GOT! Love Brienne!!!! Great scene. Hoping the red woman is not admitting defeat by showing her true age. Still think she is going to decide to make things right and bring back JS. Hate not having a clue!!! George RR Martin needs to get moving on this book!!!!! I finished the 2nd book of The Passage. Can't wait for the 3rd! The seminar sounded really enjoyable. Agree the National Anthem is rather odd. Soooooo cold today!!!!! Enough already!

Diane Sue...I have only done that workout once. Yes they were trying to figure what worked best. Glad they figured this out! That weather sounds horrible. Will be thinking of you and hoping you arrive safely!

Hi to Judy, Josie and Valerie!

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday I did a Spinerval and this morning I did Gym Style, Chest & Triceps. My right shoulder has been bothering me for a while and I really felt it today. I think I'm going to have to take a break from upper body work for a few days and see how it goes.

Deb-it rained all last night here too. Thanks for sharing the videos! Kylee is awesome!

Valerie-I'm so sorry about your brother's health issues. I hope you are having a good trip.

Lori-I'm so glad I started the SB streaming again. I need to try some of her workouts with ankle weights, that would be challenging!
You are doing a great job taking care of yourself.

Lynda-How was Veep? I cancelled my HBO Now subscription last year and haven't decided if I want to restart it or not.

Diane Sue-I hope you are doing ok and made it home safely. Tornadoes are horrible. I remember watching a Weather Channel special on the Moore, OK. Devastating :(

Good morning,

Yesterday I did Live Cardio Core Circuit. I think this is one of the best ones, she should put this out in a future DVD. It finally stopped raining, but it is still very cold. We had a warmer February.

Lynda, that is a sad ( and strange) story about your sister. I am glad you were able to get her ashes and finally put her to rest where she had a good life. Will you be travelling alone? There is a society called The Neptune society (I think it's national, (but not big in NY if we have one here)...that handles cremation, and I they assist in the scattering of ashes. I always thought it was illegal, but maybe if you go through something like that, they know the rules etc. John's parents and his sister had their scattered at sea this way. So will Peter ( The Good Wife) go to prison?

Diane Sue, I hope all is okay there and the storms passed by or did not hit hard. That is pretty scary. I am the same with kickbox workouts, I never feel that I get a good cardio workout, even though when I am doing it, I feel exhausted, then the HRM shows differently. Was the one you did one of the earlier ones? or maybe she had a new cameraman that didn't know how to film...LOL.

Lori, Can't wait to see the pics of the yard. You are so good about taking care of yourself...the kind of patient a doctor likes to have. Your story about your son sounds a little like when my grandmother passed away, but more on the humorous side, not sad...we were at the memorial with my Dad (their grandfather) and one of my nieces asked who the gentleman in the corner was....I said that is Uncle Dave, Papa's brother..( Papa being my Dad and their grandfather) and she said the same thing: "Papa has a brother??"....we still tease her about that to today....it's like she was in a cave or something while growing up. Granted he does not live her and she had never met him, but she must have heard someone talk about him at some point.

Judy, I hope your shoulder is okay and will be back to normal with a few rest days.

Hi to Josie & Valerie

A workout, then working for a few hours at my cousin's...she is really behind with the move etc.

Take care,

Hi Ladies,

The ride on Saturday was very hard, lots and lots of hills and head winds on the way back. It was a total of 83 miles. I went spinning on Sunday too :). Went to the eye doctor on Monday for my check up to see if my retina had healed properly and it did. Yesterday I went to spin class and Karina came over. Today I decided to to take a day off.

Deb, thank you for sharing the videos. The K's are so cute!

Valerie, hope that you are having a great vacation.

Diane Sue, hoping and praying that you and your family are ok.

Lynda, I will be in San Francisco from June 3rd trough the 5th. June 5th is when the ride starts and the start is at The Cow Palace. How long will you be in the Bay Area?

Lori, are you icing or applying heat to your shoulder? I have been using the foam roller to loosen up all the tight muscles and it has helped tremendously.

Lori, can't wait for the pictures.

Josie

Hi everyone--

This morning I did Ice RS (48 min.). I didn't wear my usual 1 lb. gloves because my left shoulder is still acting up.

Judy, I'm going to try to rest my shoulder too for a few days. Veep is trying to hang on to the Presidency, but since there was a tie in the electoral college, the decision will be going to Congress. Very funny, as usual. Her daughter is trying to do a documentary of back scenes, and that spells trouble. Fussing over some big blotch on her face.

Deb, I have chartered a yacht from Bayview Charters for the morning of June 3. They have a license for scattering ashes in San Francisco Bay. My older son will be with me. I sent the ashes (all kinds of USPS rules on this) last week by Priority Express to him. When my sister was dying, I would fly to Tulsa on several weekends and I tried to do things for her that her husband was NOT DOING--as in transferring her estate to a bank as executor to replace her husband, because she was slowly becoming aware that he was beginning to see his first wife again. If I hadn't done that, it's pretty clear that I would not have inherited anything. I think the plan was for Howard to continue as executor and then he would have complete control (or probably his wife). I still remember sitting with the bank officers explaining what my sister wanted to set up and her husband telling the bank officers that she had 6 months, maybe a year to live, when I knew she had about 2 weeks. When he went down to the safe deposit box with Kim to collect some papers, I told them that was not true. I think they figured out something weird was going on, and talked to her lawyer about the trust she had set up and how she wanted it transferred. They were at the house the next day to have the papers signed. After she died, a bank officer called me and told me that the whole family came in and were convinced I had done something shady and were furious that her husband couldn't just take over the whole estate. Instead, he received a yearly sum from its income, and when he died, everything went to me. I still can't figure out whether he was trying to be crafty or just dim when he told the bank officers she had that long to live. I found out about his re-marriage from one of my sister's best friends. I couldn't figure out why his first wife and his daughters and son were at the funeral or why they were all looking daggers at me and Kim--that is, until the bank officer called me, and my sister's friend told me what had been going on while my sister was dying. The whole experience was strange and terrible. Her second husband was an anesthesiologist and an attending physician on my sister's first husband who was dying of a brain tumor and lung cancer. She was 40 when he died and I guess her second husband became infatuated with her at the time, because he definitely pursued her for a few years, divorced his first wife, and proposed.

Josie, I will be with my son in Cupertino, arriving the evening of the first of June and leaving on June 5 in the afternoon. Not sure what kind of plans he and his woman friend he lives with have for me. I will get to meet their schnauzer puppies!

Lori, I am so looking forward to the third book too. I love big luxurious reads. It sounds like you are doing everything you need to do about your diabetes.

Diane Sue, I hope those tornadoes did not affect you. I do remember the Moore devastation.

Good evening ladies!

This morning was SB Lower Body Barre 3. Second time doing this workout in the Spring rotation. I like it a lot. Doing her rotation I am doing workouts I would otherwise not select yet liking them. At lunch we did SB Arms and a Pop Sugar Standing Abs I saw on You tube. The Pop Sugar Abs actually were two five minute routines I put together. They had different enough moves to not be repetitive. Ladies like this combination a lot. Plus SB Arms was on target for tomorrow's Spring challenge so going to sub in a kickboxing workout since Diane Sue and Deb have me thinking about one!

Judy...awesome you signed up for a year. It really is so afordable. I like using 1.5lb ankle weights. I feel the burn without them but with them...wow! I find 1lb to be light and 2 lbs to be heavy. Found the 1.5lb weights at Walmart. Gold's Gym ankle/wrist weights for appx $8.50. They are perfect and not bulkie at all. Oh no!!! What is going on with our shoulders! Hope all is good.

Deb...I like the Cardio Core Circuit alot and have done this one many times. Love the standing abs in this one. She does have a Cardio Core Circuit DVD and it is a killer workout. Funny story about your Dad.

Lynda...wow what a story about your sister. So very sad. Glad things worked out in your favor. My husband needed to fly with his father's ashes and boy was there rules so I know what you mean. You are such a wonderful sister doing this for her.

Josie...good for you going spinning the very next day. I have been doing both ice and heat when needed. Keep forgetting I have a foam roller. Will try using it. Thanks for the recommendation.

We all survived the storms. There was a several smaller tornados but none got any of us. There was damage in areas along the way. By the time the hail hit here the winds had slowed to 50 mph and the hail was smaller. I always worry about the florida room. It was headed toward my one daughter and turned toward us. The worst of it passed between us and our son. Then when it got to my daughters in the country they were out of power. The two tornadoes were on either side of her within a mile but missed them. There was some damage around but not lots. They are doing storm clean up. I know a police officers home was destroyed and a church. Some areas are still without power. Ours kept going off and on and of course the internet went out. We kept in touch with our daughter and family since they had no power.
I will check back in awhile to read posts. I have some things I need to do.

Judy, it sounds like it might be a good idea to give the shoulder a bit of a rest. I am just getting back to my upper weight work. It took me 2 months of battling that shoulder issue before I felt I could start doing a little. I guess that it is good that Cathe Live is mostly light weight work. The foam roller really helped me a lot with the shoulder. Now I have rediscovered the neural reboot from Tai Cheng and that is really helpful with my neck and knees and pretty much everything. In one spot though he has you on the foam roller at the neck and says something about the t spine. I do not roll and I am always wondering how he got the foam roller down to his upper back shoulders as he pushes his legs out. The camera moves away. I lift my head up and then stretch my arms and head back over the roller with it at my shoulders. It does stretch and feel good. I just know I have always understood that you do not roll the t spine. He does this between rolling for the rotator and the bretzel. All very helpful.

Deb, it is sunny and in the 70s today. We have more coming around Friday. Hopefully they don't bring the severe weather. I would imagine that you are longing for spring weather. :) The kickbox I did was the very first workout of Cathe Live. I have done a few from the first few weeks and you can tell that it was a learning experience. I notice that some of the first ones were longer.

Josie, that was a long ride. What was wrong with your retina, if you don't mind me asking? I just started seeing something move as I look around. I kept trying to swat felt like gnats coming at me from the side or something hanging in my hair. It ends up it is my eye and it has been several days now. My daughter said it could be a cataract. I am hoping it goes away.

Lynda, I just pretty much quit wearing the weighted gloves. I used to use 1 1/2 to 2 # gloves. I still wear the boxing gloves though. That story about your sister is so sad. What strange circumstances.

Lori, you have such good plans for workouts with the ladies. I have heard of Pop Sugar. I really do like standing core work.
