Pentagenarians & Beyond: W/B 4/1

Good evening ladies,

This morning was SB Upper Cardio Core Circuit and then a 20 min Lekfit bounce. Total time was 51 min / 370 cal.

Deb...we are excited for GiGi’s meet and greet tomorrow. She gets to run around with the other dogs for a bit. She is going to love going here. I think I would not get any work done if I could watch her!!! Great job on the PHA workout today.

Valerie....sounds like you have made some great healthy changes that aided in the weight loss. When I lose 5lbs it is noticable. Good for you. I used to make home made icecream years ago. Yum. I have a hard time buying footwear online also. Good you were able to return them.

Carolyn...I need to revisit the WS3 one mile motivation. I only did it once and it was not a favorite. I felt it lacked luster for me. Could have been my mood at the time. I did like Barefoot Cardio. Actually I liked all the workouts but the 1 mile!

Hi to Judy and Diane Sue!!

Today I did 4 Day Split double cardio premix, 59 minutes, heart rate average 137, max 168, met 5.8, 378 calories, 5,227 steps. MMF and Fit Bit were exact on calories today :) I then did Z Cut Power Cardio disc 2 workout 7, bonus abs, and cooldown, 28 minutes, 168 calories, heart rate average 117, max 161, 814 steps. Total time spent was 87 minutes, calories burned 546. One think that I can say for this Z cut series is they are definitely trimming the middle already. I would not say that they are fun though. I like that they are not too long. I would probably give up if they were really long. I wish she had music in the cardio series like she does in the strength series. I went through the moves on the cardio workouts and that helped make my choice today as I was not ready for the same moves I did the last two days.
Z Cut power cardio
workout 7
3 rounds 40 sec each exercise 10 minutes total time
sumo jump squat to normal jump squat
side hops (jumps)
burpee roll over knee tuck (did this yesterday too I think)
mountain climber
plank to elbow down up move (lots of core work)
bonus abs 2 rounds
5 reps ab splitter (v sit toe touch, v sit reach through, knee tuck counts 1)
20 alternating elevated plank knee tucks (used high step) right left knee tuck counts 1
20 competition sit ups
20 side plank toe touch (10 right 10 left)

Lori, my daughter has a screened in patio in back of her house and you look out over the hills and forest in back. It has a built in grill inside. They don't grill in there though. They keep their music system out there and turn it on for when they are out in the pool or working outside. I have sat out there and drank my coffee. It is so peaceful and sometimes you see deer leaping across their land. I was looking at boiled egg recipes and found one where they sliced and fried the boiled eggs and another where they made them into scotch eggs with the sausage wrapped around the outside of the egg. I have a bacon and egg salad recipe from one of my Paleo cookbooks that is really good.

Deb, I think people are busy and more consumed with themselves and their own time and don't think much about spending real time talking. It is really kind of sad. I don't know what the younger crowd will be like as adults when they are so glued to their phones and computers. It is nice that you can watch your dog and see how it is doing at the daycare. My daughter payed for playtime for hers once and I wondered how you know if your dog really got the playtime. It is not going to tell you one way or another. Her dog didn't like the stay though and they never took her back.

Valerie, I usually order my footwear online from Zappos or Amazon. These are easy to do returns with. Most of the time once I find a brand and style that fits comfortably I will just reorder the same thing next time. Maybe in a different color. I hate buying shoes as most do not fit right because of my toes and they make my feet hurt. I did make a mistake on my last Cross trainers. I ordered a size smaller because that is what I generally wear. I have some Crossfit Nano's that I bought in an 8.5 just because I wanted the blue ones and they did not have my usual size 8. Well the next pair I purchased an 8 and they hurt my feet so much. My toes get numb. Now I can hardly find the 5.0 in that brand so am going to have to search for another shoe. Trying larger socks rarely helps that much. Nice work on the weight loss. You have made some good changes in your diet as well. I find if I can keep from much of a snack after dinner and not too late it makes a difference. It doesn't seem like you eat very much for how active you are.

Carolyn, I like workouts that don't require shoes :) Amy Bento Ross does a lot of her kettle bell workouts without shoes. I don't do rebounding without shoes though as the urban rebounder surface is kind of ruff and I am afraid of the springs. I know SB and Amy do workouts on the rebounder without shoes at times.

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday I did Build & Burn Lower Body Tabata and a new kickboxing workout, Powerstrike 7, by Ilaria Montagnani . It was similar to Susan Chung's workouts. Today I did a 90 minute indoor ride. It was at a very easy pace so more of a recovery ride.

Deb-Chris is a lot more handy than I am with these home improvement projects, but I do enjoy them. Great job with the Live PHA!

Diane Sue-Great job with the Z-Cut workouts! They sound tough! It seems like the last 3-4 years our family has been texting much more than calling. We almost never call anyone or get calls. Everything is text, email, or Facebook messages. At one time we were using Skype too, but for some reason we stopped.

Valerie-Great job on the 6 lbs! Like Diane Sue, I order shoes online and return them if they don't fit. I've ordered from Zappos, and directly from Brooks, Asics and Hoka. I just returned a pair of Hoka running shoes that I ordered to try. They were too narrow. For those sites, it's free shipping and free returns.

Carolyn-I really enjoy the WS3 workouts. I did the Barefoot Cardio Core one, but I wore shoes. I get plantar fasciitis easily and it's better for me to workout in shoes.

Lori-The meet & greet sounds like a lot of fun for GiGi. If we ever have a dog, I will want to get them into something like that too.

Judy

Lori, when I lose 5# my pants start to droop and I walk around hitching them up. I must have been in the midst of typing and cooking dinner when you posted since I missed your last post :)

Judy, a recovery paced ride was probably plenty after yesterday's workout :) My husband and I used Skype when he was in Iraq and Afghanistan. That way we could see each other while we talked and he could talk to the grandchildren. Sometimes he had a hard time with the Wifi in places he was located.

sometimes I've lost a few lbs but it was water weight and it didn't show much, and of course came right back on. Lori, yes, when I lose 6 lbs it shows. and it affects how my clothes fit. I have not been 100 % "pure" and ate an almond croissant... from my birthday lunch... split over 3 days. (gosh.. it was good). I've used Zappos before, and roadrunner sports and REI. the problem is companies shift their style pattern from one yr to the next. a 7 last yr might be an 8.5 now. especially true in running shoes. anyway, the boots in question are xc ski boots. reviews said they ran small so instead of a 39 I went to a 40 and it was a giant, loose boat of a boot. DH had the same issue. they are 3 pin bindings. the main thing about xc boots is how they attach, or bind to the ski. that has changed over the years to where nothing is a main standard these days. many ways to attach the two, but ski and boot must use the same format.

I did a 40 min spin premix from Ride, and abs from High reps. it was hard. I am still congested when I breathe hard like that.

Valerie, I have noticed the discrepancies in sizes from the same brand and style too. Reviews are sometimes helpful, but can throw me off. I sitvand read each review and take note of the size the person is reviewing if possible. I find people that wear a larger size tend to have common complaints that people who wear smaller have different complaints. Anyway, I try to find reviews with similar foot issues to mine like larger toe box and narrower heal. I really do hate shopping for shoes.
I guess changing ski boots would ho along with changing models of skis? You sure wouldnt want to be skiing with oversized boots.

Good morning,

Yesterday I did Live Low Impact Cardio Hiit...34 minutes, 209 calories.

Valerie, that's too bad about the boots. Sometimes when you have to get something online, it has to go back, but at least you are getting what you want. My friend that recently passed away was about the only one I spoke with that used a land line like I do. We both really liked the quality of the sound way better than a cell phone. My brother still has one and I always call that number before their cells. Great job on the weight loss!

Lori, If your doggy day care had the option, I bet you would sneak some peeks at Gigi while she is at day care!

Diane Sue, it is sad that people don't talk much any more. I fear that teens today will be socially inept when they are older....most are that way now. That is great that those workouts are working! However, I agree that music would probably make them more enjoyable. I guess some dogs are just not as sociable as others. We stopped going to the weekly play group we used to take the dogs to because after a while, they would not play, just came back and sat with us and watched the other dogs...

Hi to Judy and Carolyn,

Take care.

Diane sue, the "binding' is a bracket/clamp attached to the ski itself. it holds the boot to the ski. there are different types of bindings, skis and boots depending on what kind of skiing. we use an older style called 3 pin that is still used. there's a thick sole on the front of the boot that sticks out. it has 3 pin holes in the extra length of sole. the binding clamps down on top of it and holds the front of the boot to the ski. your heel is still free to go up and down so you can move forward in a walking motion.
there are a lot of variations on this basic idea but your ski, boot, binding all need to connect. there's no big demand in this country for any one particular style, so it's hard to find anything in stores. I think more equipment is made in scandanavian countries where xc skiing is more popular. there are reasons Norway, sweden win most Olympic medals in the sport. they totally dominate the sport.
xc skiing is different from downhill skiing. both front and back of a heavy plastic boot is clamped onto the ski. Very hard to walk in a downhill boots and skis. there are other versions "in between" for backcountry skiers. many different kinds of skiing!

the boot gives you control of the ski, allowing you to turn and stop. if the boot is too loose, it makes everything sloppy. a stiffer boot helps up to
a point, but a really rigid boot makes for blisters for me. xc skiing has never been that popular in the US except for limited markets, and all the different equipment divides the market even further. hard to find boots these days.

I need a wider toe box and a narrower heel. mostly though, it's inconsistency in sizing that makes me crazy. different brands, different country of origin it's sort of a crap shoot what size to order to start the process.

Deb where are you this morning?

Today I did Z Cut disc 3 workout 12 (last workout that I have not done in strength) 23 minutes with the warm up, heart rate average 108, max 135, met 4.1, 843 steps, 104 calories. I then did X Train Super Cuts, 48 minutes, 255 calories, heart rate average 119, max 155, 255 calories, 1,585 steps met 4.8. I finished off with a Z gym youtube stretch, 12 minutes, 26 calories. Total time was 71 minutes, calories burned 359.
Z Cut power strength workout 12 3 rounds
20 weighted overhead squats side leg lift (holding dumbbells stationary overhead) 8# dbs
40 chair hops
40 back lunges& knee ups 20 right 20 left 8,8,10# dumbbells
10 reptile push ups
I used 5's, 8's, and 10's on Super Cuts

Deb, you are right, I see many younger people that do not do well with talking to others. I don't know how they would do with interviews and most do not give much thought to what they are saying or how others hear it. Gertie loves people and has interest in other dogs. Her and my daughter's dog muffin get along okay except there is a jealousy issue over attention and maybe territory a bit. They have been around each other off and on for quite some time so it works out. I don't know how she would do with my other daughter's two labs though. They run their land and have a doggie door. Not as well behaved. It might be fun and it could be a battle. Mudd did okay with their older dog though.

Today I did WS3 Boogie I. T. which is an interval workout. It was 30 minutes, 208 calories burned, average heart rate 129 and maximum heart rate 143. I thought that I didn’t care for this one based on the last time that I did it, but today I enjoyed it. I went to Target afterwards to pick up some cleaning supplies.

Lori, the One Mile of Motivation is less intense than the 15 Minute Fat Blaster. It seems to be aimed at just getting you moving. I used it more as an extended warmup yesterday before my strength workout.

Judy, I bought some yoga/Pilates socks to use for some of the barre or fusion workouts. I don’t like to be barefoot. I wear shows on the rebounder because it feels better on my feet. I have one Power Strike workout that I tried a few times. I just couldn’t connect with Ilaria.

Diane Sue, great job on sticking with those Z Cut workouts. They sound like they are very hard.

Valerie, I am never perfect with my eating. I try for an 80/20 approach where I am eating well 80% of the time. Yesterday was my husband’s birthday and we had chocolate cake. Added to the Easter dinner, I have really indulged this week. Congratulations on losing the 6 pounds. The way that the clothes fit is a good gauge for how you are doing.

Deb, we still have a landline too. I also have a corded phone that comes in handy when the power is out. Some of my family members only use their cell phones and some use the landline.

Have a good day everyone.

Valerie, that is interesting on the variations on types of skiing and equipment. I hadn't thought about how the boots would be attached to the skis. I definitely need plenty of toe room in my shoes and boots. My short top boots will rub off the tops of some of my toes if I walk around in the too much. I need to find some sort of replacement sometime. I wear mostly my cross trainers. Once in awhile the low top boots and if it is cold I wear my Dankso suede leather boots with heavy lining or my flat black boots. Chaco sandals without the toe piece that are adjustable in the summer or some crocs sandals that I can slip on to go outside. I love it when my toes do not have to be stuck in closed toe shoes.

Carolyn, I purchase a lot of my cleaning supplies from Amazon to get more natural cleaners. Sometimes in a pinch I get something at Sprouts. I am not a real fan of most of the Seventh Generation stuff or Sprouts Brand in cleaners though. I recently picked up some Tilex shower cleaner thinking I could use it without so much scrubbing. I hate it. I put on a mask so I don't have to breathe the fumes so much. Now I just use it once in awhile and went back to other cleaners. I used to get them all from Melaleuca and kind of miss that. A lot of their cleaners are concentrated and you mix and fill your sprayer. I have had some bottles of basic cleaner that I have used for two years not. My supply is running out though. I am thinking when I am done with Z cut workouts I will use them as add ons for awhile. I used to have some Ilaria Power Strikes workouts. I got rid of them because I did not do them much. For some reason they seemed long and you could not stop in the middle of it because she would do all one side and then switch to the other side the last part of the workout. I have the Addiction Heavy Bag workouts that are like that, so it is hard to shorten a workout. It is do it or do half one day and half the next.

I wasn't going to exercise today but changed my mind and did two muscle meltdowns, for biceps and triceps and then core 1 from ICE. close to an hour total. It's only been a week, but I am still not feeling good about a lot of hard breathing. didn't sleep well last night. weights seemed like a better option. I have not done any in several weeks.

Good morning,

Yesterday I did Cathe Live Strong Total Body, 46 minutes, 222 calories. I wish Cathe would make a worklout like this in a future series.

Diane Sue, wow, Supercuts....a blast from the past. How do you pick the workouts? I tend to just do the same ones over...I need to go back and look at some older series. I like Mrs Meyers cleaners. I got a large bottle of concentrated surface cleaner from Amazon.

Carolyn, "Boogie" in the name of a workout makes me want to hear the music. :). It sounds like it would be good, fun music. Besides the "wall phone"..We also have a set of 3 portable phones connected to the land line. I would never give these up.

Valerie, maybe your body is telling you to rest more. I hope you feel better soon.

Hi to Judy and Lori,

Take care,

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday I did another longer indoor ride, 90 minutes. Then I did a Yin Yoga session in the afternoon It felt to get a couple of longer rides in this week. I'm planning on doing an upper body and core workout today.
It snowed about an inch or so overnight and we might get a little more this morning. Next week doesn't look much better for weather.

Deb-I am the same way with workouts, I do the same ones over and over. If I find one I like, I tend to keep doing it until I get tired of it. Live Strong Total Body is a really good one.

Diane Sue-I thought Power Strike was a good kickboxing workout, but I've been spoiled by premixes and was a little disappointed that this one didn't have any. I'll probably stick with the Rapid Fire series for those kind of workouts.

Valerie-I hope you feel better soon. I think Deb is right, maybe your body is telling you to rest more.

Caroline- I have yoga socks too. I've only used them for yoga but maybe I will try them for one of Jessica's barefoot workouts.

Hi to Lori!

Judy

I crashed early last night and slept well. went back to sleep after the usual middle of the night bathroom trips. ended up sleeping almost 11 hours in all. I guess I WAS tired. when I look at a calendar, it was only a week yesterday since I went into the full blown head cold, so maybe I was being too impatient. I've been pretty lax about weight workouts lately so feel good about yesterday. it felt OK and just overdue. I am a little sore this morning. we've been stuck in a rainy weather pattern and haven't been able to ride. doesn't have to be sunny, but when it rains this many days in a row, the mt biking will be seriously muddy, and even road biking doesn't seem like a fun idea. but it's not snow! sorry Judy, this is one of those endless winters it seems.
workout music is a bigger issue. I don't need to love it but I am getting to HATE sound tracks. I will be turning off for the MM's too. there is one song annoys me to where I have gotten an ear worm from it. I want way less volume and less annoying music. I'd rather have no sound than this. I don't think it motivates me much but maybe even good music would get annoying repeated this much.

I have yoga socks too. I always used them in class for better traction and to semi cover my ugly feet. regular socks don't give the sticking power that yoga socks do. I used gloves also for the same reason.

we have a land line with 4 handsets. phone service thru cable internet connection so when the power goes out we lose both. used to be phone lines were separate. I love convenience of the cell but I won't carry in house or yard. everywhere else is plenty. I wonder what the future will become with so many people seemingly afraid or unwilling to talk to each other.

This morning I did WS3 Upper Body strength. It was 34 minutes and 123 calories burned. Average heart rate was 110 and maximum heart rate 165. It was a nice short workout. Today was my first time doing this one. I didn’t realize that I didn’t get to it earlier, but I didn’t really follow the suggested rotation. I was mixing in WS3 with other workouts then I moved on to Fit Split.

Deb, good workout yesterday. The “Boogie” in the workout title is deceiving. The music is nothing special but the workout was enjoyable. My 6 year old grandson looked at our trim line wall phone and wanted to know “what is that?”.

Judy, I felt the same about Power Strikes. It was too long and I just didn’t care for her style as an instructor. With so many other choices I moved on.

Valerie, that long nights rest was probably what your body needed. Good for you.

Diane Sue, I ordered cleaning items from Amazon several times, but one time the bottle was damaged and half of the product had leaked out into the box. Of course Amazon replaced it, but I haven’t ordered anything like that since. I don’t like Seventh Generation or Sprouts brands either. I do like Mrs. Meyer’s clean day. I use a lot of white vinegar solution these days in addition to other cleaners that I try. Vinegar is useful for many things.

Lori, I’m working through the WS3 workouts again. As I mentioned above, I have a few that I never got around to doing.

Have a nice afternoon everyone.

Today's workout started with Kelly's Meltdown work #2 with the heavy bag. I wore my combat gloves and cut up my hands a bit. (I must have been punching too hard) This was 269 minutes, heart rate average 135, max 159, met 5.8, 2,805 steps, 186 calories, met 5.8. I then did a bit of Yvette Bachman kickboxing from youtube, but it just was not what I was looking for, too much plié jacks and jumping and not kickboxing, granted I only did 12 minutes, heart rate 137 average, max 174, 949 steps, 82 calories, met 6.3. I need to preview the whole thing and decide. I just had enough of that type of stuff and wanted less impact. I then put in Build and Burn Kettlebell Kickbox Fusion, 26 minutes, 172 calories, heart rate average 137, max 162, met 6.0, 1,758 steps. I used a 20# kettlebell for all but the overhead moves along with 1.5# gloves. I finished with Strong and Sweaty bonus abs 13 minutes, heart rate average 114, max 140, 234 steps, met 4.1 ,60 calories. Total time was 80 minutes, 500 calories.I am pretty sure I will have my 10,000 steps today as right now it is 9,548 and it is only early afternoon. I also did Barre Amped relaxation stretch but did not turn my Fit Bit on or write it in. I am not sure if I will get a workout in this weekend. It depends on how early I get up and weather. It started getting really dark outside so I stopped after the Yvette Bachman and drug my pots of roses, Easter lily, and I think the other is a gladiola, which are just coming out nicely, into the sun room. My daughter in law is picking is picking me up for my granddaughter's wedding shower in the morning at 9 and we will be headed to my daughter's who will drive all of us from this side of town to the shower. Hopefully driving is not bad. I think since it was 70 yesterday that the ground should be warm enough that things won't be bad. 24 degrees forecast in the morning.

Deb, sometimes it gets easy for me just to choose the workouts that are sitting on the shelf rather than go to my cases of dvds. I have been making a point of looking through them and forming ideas on what I want to do. Then I set some of them out and put them away when I am done with them. Since doing the Z Cut workouts I have wanted a bit more weight work, but lighter weight work. That way I am not over taxing the muscles. So, I have been looking through my workouts choosing not too long total body metabolic type workouts. When I was looking at my dvds I came across Super Cuts and thought it would be perfect for what I am wanting. Last week on the power strength days I did Fit Split Metabolic, Kelly's body shop, and Ice Metabolic. This week I changed my week around and started it with a cardio day so I have only got in some strength work from Body Design with two Z Cut power strength workouts and Super Cuts with one Power Strength workout. I doubt I have time for a third strength workout tomorrow. I have some ideas for next week too. I have not used a concentrated surface cleaner from Mrs Meyers yet. I have used the counter cleaner in the past, dish soap, powdered cleanser, soap, and laundry products. Homeland seems to have a better selection of their products than Sprouts. I use Grab Green laundry soap in their Stone Works pods, dish washer soap, sometimes dish soap (I like Mrs Myers better), dryer sheets, the one problem I have with Grab Green's pods for laundry is that I have to break a bit of a hole in them so that they dissolve. If the water is hot enough they are okay, but if I am using cool water I sometimes find chunks of soap left in the bottom of the machine.

Judy, I felt Power Strikes was okay and if there was pre-mixes I would probably have kept them. This is rather unusual for us to have weather like this at this time of year. Many years ago I remember buying our house our son lives in now and moving in with sleet and wind near the end of March.

Valerie, I am sorry you are still not feeling well. You are right, though and it usually takes awhile to get over a full blown cold. It is good you finally got some sleep. I think rest is one of the things that really helps the body mend itself, but it is hard to rest when you are miserable. I don't mind most music. There are just some sound tracks that I don't like. I hate the one on the Fit Split dvds. As soon as it starts I wish it would stop. Fortunately it seems to only grate during the loading theme and I don't notice anymore. Doing Strong and Sweaty Abs today I had forgotten the background screechy sounds. I tend to thing something is going off in the house somewhere till it dawns on me that it is in that sound track. Once I am busy concentrating on a workout, the sounds generally don't register much.

Carolyn, I am sure that was nice realizing that you had not done one of the workouts from WS3. I remember that you didn't follow it as a rotation. Generally everything is wrapped so well from Amazon, that it would be hard for it to leak. I think sometimes it depends on whether it is Amazon shipping it or someone else. I don't remember having anything leak yet, but I have read complaints on reviews. I guess that is a problem with getting things through the mail. I did get a bicycle for our 4 year old grandson from Amazon that was shipped by K Mart ( I didn't realize K Mart was still around) When it arrived the box was beat up and broken and a piece of spider web (plastic with screw holes) was broken. It was a Spiderman Bike. I contacted Huffy and the next day a new part arrives and also a part that did not originally come with the bike which we installed so it had a little caged basket on the front.

Good morning,

Yesterday I did a treadmill workout: Cardio Coach Vol 1 Rev 33 minutes 201 calories. Actually got over 10,000 steps today, probably due to the treadmill. I should do this more often.

Judy, we are getting light snow on and off too....also predicted for tomorrow and Tuesday. :(. I am so tired of it. Was Power Strike a Cathe workout?

Valerie, wow, 11 hours! You must have really needed some rest. is there music that you have that you can play while using the "voice only" option on the DVD"s? I used to like the older style music that Cathe used that had real songs and lyrics, instead of this manufactured stuff she has to use now, but mostly I don't hear it at all. We have one of those portable land lines with 3 handsets too. Ugly feet? mine are bunions...ugh. Anyone here had the surgery?

Carolyn, that is funny but also sad about your grandson and the trimline phone. I have a trimline as well, love it! I like to be able to sit at the table and make multiple calls etc without having to get up to dial. LOL. I like to use baking soda a lot to clean things like the refrigerator.

Diane Sue, the concentrated cleaner from Mrs Meyer's is the same as the regular counter cleaner, only in concentrated form so you can mix it and it lasts a lot longer than the regular size. I like the smell it leaves when you use it. It seems like we are all having a strange spring weather wise.

Hi to Lori!

Take care,

Good morning ladies,

Thursday was a SB total body workout plus Lekfits most recent bounce that had intervals with bands for arms and legs. Total time was 53m / 358 cal. It was a fun bounce a couple of actors were in. Busy Phillips is a regular. She has been in a few movies. She is in the new I feel Pretty moving coming out. Also Emily Rossum was in it. She is known for the TV show Shameless and other movies. I told my husband I was working out with celebrities! Yesterday was a quick workout since I needed to leave early to bring GiGi to Day Care :). I did SB Barre Hiit then a quick Bellicon Hiit Bounce. 35 min/258 cal.

GiGi did great at daycare! Her report card said she was Happy, Playful and Loving! :). At 7pm she was done in and past out under the table! Lol!

Diane Sue...that is awesome you are seeing results from Zcut. Again, so happy you are using them. I miss using my heavy bag and battle ropes. These were the 2 things I could not bring upstairs. My son is moving out this week so hoping to finally start organizing for our movie theater and I am blocking off space for these 2 fitness items and my spin bike to use downstairs. Leaving everything else upstairs as is. Super cuts is fun. Did a premix I made up recently when I did the fit split rotation.

Deb...yeah 10,000 steps! Great job! Thanks for mentioning Strong Total Body. Wanted to do a total body today and I just previewed it. Looks perfect for me this morning. It snowed here yesterday for most of the day. Didn’t accumlated to much but enough to make everyone angry!!!

Judy...I have never done a powerstrike workout. They seem to get great reviews. Too bad no premixes. Great ride yesterday!

Carolyn...the WS3 upper body is great and pretty tough for a Jessica workout. All the WS3 surprised me in a great way. This may be my favorite JS series. So much variety. I have had a couple items leak from amazon too. They were great about returns. I too use white vinegar for a ton of cleaning. Especially in laundry. I always add to pretty much every load. It freshens and softens with no residue. I buy by the gallon and go thru it quickly.

Valerie... not surprising you are still feeling a bit off. That really hit you hard last week. Amazing you got in the workouts you did. 11 hours! Wow you needed that. Been ages since I have had that much sleep. Sleep is the best medicine and your body will tell you when you need it.
I have socks that I use some times for bounce that have little rubber dots for better grip. Are these similar to yoga socks? Did you get your new boots yet? I know you returned the ones too big. I may have missed it. Hoping they fit better!

Have a great day all!
