Pentagenarians & Beyond: W/B 3/12

Today I did Susan Chung's Rapid Fire Sweat, 72 minutes, 564 calories. I need to get a few things caught up again today. My cell phone is messed up since the last update so if I can't go online to get help I am going to have to make a trip to AT&T. It keeps telling me touch whiz is not working. I cleared the cache and data and it is still no working right. I have to wait awhile for each app that I click on/or try to click on to come up. It is frustrating.
I got some cleaning done and made it to Hobby Lobby for a new journal and to price leather look fabric to recover my bar stools. DH wants to get genuine leather. I am not sure that would be good for something children drop food and drinks on. He found a large piece of nubuck leather but that is not going to work and it was 120 dollars. No working on the phone. I have two of the younger grandchildren here tonight.

Judy, it was really cold last night and I think some of the state may have got a little snow. It was 28 when I got up this morning. Our generator is in the garage till we need it. I bet your kitties were very happy to be home.

Deb, I would love a link for the webinar. I have the stretch dvd that I purchased of Suzanne Bowen and it has a code for a free month I have not done it yet though. I would have to sign up with my credit card. I am always on the fence on that. As I get bored I kind of want to try some more. I did the two day free trial with no sign up. They keep sending those free try it videos , but for some reason I cannot get them to work. It worked at Christmas time but now it doesn't. I get directed to the website, log in and I cannot get the videos.

Valerie, we had a someone in the neighborhood next to ours that had their pick up stolen. The woman got in her truck and started it and had to go back into the house to get her purse and I think she grabbed a cup of coffee. She went out and it was gone. I don't leave my car running in the driveway myself, but that just really stinks. They steal packages around here. One neighbor said they noticed that their new large ladder was missing out of their garage. Probably another that left their garage door hanging open. There are several that do that. The HOA has suggested that they close their garage doors. We have extra parking for guests but they do not want the, leaving the car there overnight. Although that is kind of overlooked, as we sometimes have grandchildren that come and stay and park there. They send out a newsletter with HOA dues and it lists by address and name every person that does not pay their dues. I don't know why they don't. Ours covers our front lawn care and upkeeps the trees and open areas and street side landscaping. It is well worth the 36 dollars a month. Ours has a lot of details in their HOA regulations.

Lori, I would be so upset if ours was stolen. It was over 500 dollars too. We have that little storage building but I wouldn't put anything in it that was worth much. I have a padlock on it, but the top slides so that is almost useless. It was here when we moved in. We had put money down on having one built in the yard and then found out we could not have it so got our funds back. I told my husband that maybe if we got a large above ground storm shelter they would not be able to say no. Then store some things in it. I have not noticed any around here though. I know the elderly woman two houses down told me she has one in her garage floor. We had one in our garage at our last house but there was room for it without moving the cars out.

We live in a good neighborhood with nice neighbors. we all get along, they are lovely people. However... at least 4 people saw the thief who got into our camper walk out of a very treed, overgrown part of our lot, not the driveway, carrying a duffle bag. they even talked to him, and no one caught on that he was a thief and had a bag full of our stuff. they all know there is just the two of us, no children or extra people around. we got a call from aneighbor 4 - 6 hours later. she wasn't even home at the time but talked to someone who saw it. she thought it sounded wrong and called us. we then started checking things and realized we'd been burglarized.

I can say that I will never let something suspicious like that slide. I would have been on the phone to 911 in a heartbeat. I am not shy about calling in suspicious things. I think everyone is so concerned about "not interfering" that they let a moving van pull into their neighbors driveway, steal an entire housefull of stuff, and drive away. that house was only 3 doors away. I promised myself that I would NOT become one of those people who blows things off because they don't want to get involved. If something does not look right, I will be in your face or at least on the phone. it's so easy to call for help if something doesn't look right. I've intervened many times since. it's a good feeling , getting involved. it was scary the first time but not any more. two small children ran across the busy road ( this is maybe 12 years ago) as I was heading to the store. I was already past but saw them near the roadway, and then saw them run across in the rear view mirror. I was already past. I don't even like children! I knew that was not right, so I did a U-turn and went back. another woman also stopped, and we each grabbed a kid and took them to their home. the mother was stupid , didn't appreciate what the two strangers had done. it was the right thing to do. it was a turning point for me, and I have never hesitated since.

Anyway, off the soapbox. I did LBB today including floor work. Lori I didn't do leg conditioning drills, will see if I get sore from this first.

Good morning,

Yesterday I did Cathe Live Upper Body & Core Express. This was the Live workout she did last week. A really good upper body workout. She goes slow enough so you can try heavier weights. Also breaks and lets you know that the rest is core, if you do not want to do core that day, do a cool down now.. The core was tough...I hate anything that is on your side with leg lever lifts.

Valerie, how many miles is that gate in order to go around the whole community? I can understand why the HOA would stop people from having junk cars on their property. I think its great that you "get involved" and do not ignore things that look suspicious.

Carolyn, what is the powder that was suggested by the NG? I must have missed that email. Do you use it to make broth, or is it a powder like a protein powder?

Lori, I saw some of the coverage of Boston and NYC weather. It was really bad. We have had about 8 inches...no big deal for us. John went out to snow blow 3 times, each time after an hour it looked the same. They closed the schools yesterday, not sure if it was needed. Everyone was out and about doing what they normally do. Did you ask the head person of the landscapers about the generator? My cousin had some work done at her previous house, and afterwards, found that some jewelry was missing. This was her mother's jewelry, that she had in a box in a filing cabinet...not even in a jewelry box etc. Now what were these workers doing looking in a filing cabinet? She questioned the owner of the contractor, and he was pretty upset. The police of the small town she lived in actually sent someone over to take finger prints. The contractor owner said to let him know if they found anyone that was part of his crew that did it. They did not identify anyone.

Diane Sue, funny...I was at Hobby Lobby Monday....looking for a new door wreath. I didn't realize they had fabric too. It's a huge store! It was the first time I was in one. I agree....real leather is not good around pets or young children. Go with the "leather look" type that that be cleaned with water etc. Maybe I will sign up for the 2 day free SB trial. I don't like to put in my credit card either.

For anyone that is interested...Here is the link...if you sign up and miss the session, they send you a link to take it whenever its convenient for you.

A workout, then maybe doing some errands. I need a new keyboard for my computer...the letters on my wireless one are all worn out...and the wired one I have hooked up is driving me crazy!

Take care,

No workout to report yet. If I find the time I will do a weight workout later. My grandbaby is still asleep in the workout room. He was not feeling well. He did not pick up one toy. He just laid around, and even refused going out for ice cream with Papa. I gave him a bath and he immediately wanted to go to bed. Very odd for an almost 3 year old. I stayed up till he fell asleep and am tired myself. I t is after 10 am and he is still asleep.

Valerie, it is good to take action on anything that looks odd or suspicious. Those thieves are sneaky. Yes, most people are afraid of annoying someone or something if they get involved. My husband has always said if something is suspicious call the police right away. That is how they catch these people. That is just crazy that the neighbors did not notice that that was odd and say something. Why would someone with a backpack be coming off of your property? That would be my first thought. My husband says I am nosy. I don't care. I keep an eye on vehicles that pull into our cul de sac and the mail boxes as much as I can. The elderly woman next door has packages left on her door step a lot that remain for long periods of time. Lately she has had lots of workers in and out. They park on the side by my dining window. Other than seeing the guy leave and her having her door open with her little white scottie sitting there I would have been wondering as they guys pickup truck had what looked like parts and a sofa cushion in the back. I was wondering what the cushion was for.

Deb, hobby lobby has craft stuff, floral fabric, cake decorating, furniture art supplies, just loads of things. I have always loved Hobby Lobby. Years ago when my children were all small they had a whole long strip mall that was all Hobby Lobby. Then later they came up with all of the stores. They have a big warehouse here. Thank you for the link. I will bookmark it so maybe I can watch it when the children go home. I think the leather look would be fine. They are something like that anyway. I do think it said leather when I purchased them but the fact they they are peeling makes me think they were bonded leather. Also they are pretty glossy for leather. It is hard to find anything, including furniture that is really full grain leather. I have done a lot of reading because they told my husband our new Lazy Boy Sofa bed was all leather. It says performance leather on the tags and to wipe it with a damp cloth and vacuum it weekly. From my understanding it is nothing more than the bonded leather product or one that is made from pieces of leather scraps. It looks nice, I am just hoping it holds up . I did find out that the last one probably cracked and peeled because I thought it was leather and I used leather products on it. Stuff with oils will make some of these bonded products peel.

Deb, there is only one road into our community. the gate is going on that road. the whole community is an elaborate circle with a middle road and some side roads off the main one, but only one entry road. there are 150-200 lots, most with homes. It will be like the entry systems at a lot of apartments and condos. a camera recording who goes in and out, a key fob to open the gate if you live here. regular delivery people like PO, UPS, will have an access code. if you don't have one, you need to be buzzed in by a resident. It won't be perfect but it should reduce the number of people walking or driving in looking for things to steal. about 3 years ago we put a gate on our own driveway. it is locked if we aren't here, closed most of the time. as a community, we voted several times on installing an entrance gate, but things got bad enough where it passed by a good margin last fall. we are less than a mile from the casino, and it attracts every kind of sleazy person and activity you can imagine. they drive in and go up and down roads looking in mailboxes, packages on porches, or unlocked cars and outbuildings to steal from. most people are at work during the day and homes are spread out so it gives thieves a lot of opportunities. we let neighbors know when we're not home, and they do the same with us but most of the thefts have happened when people are home. our neighbor ( the one who alerted me to the person walking out of our yard) had jewelry stolen and an urn with her sons ashes in it. she got the urn back eventually. almost everyone here has been robbed at least once, and many multiple times.

I don't think I'm going to get sore from LBB. will do the leg conditioning drills next time. I haven't been doing specific leg workouts so I'm pleased that what I've been doing has kept my legs tuned up.

diane sue you posted at the same time. I try to be observant and do what I'd want others to do for me.

Hello Everyone,
Today's workout was RWH Circuit, Upper Body. It's a nice workout with the cardio added in. I actually did it after going out for a meeting, which is very unusual for me.

Deb, the NGs suggested Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides. The one in the blue container dissolves easily in warm liquid. I add it to a cup of green tea. Their other one in green container is a gelatin and I have not tried it. The Vital Proteins website has information about the product and sourcing. I ordered mine last fall from Amazon after doing my research.

Diane Sue, I hope your grandson is feeling better. The little ones are so sad when they don't feel well enough to play with toys.

Have a wonderful afternoon.

Good evening ladies,

No workout this morning. Was just really tired. When I came home from work I did 33 minutes of freestyle jumping on my jumpsport. Nothing to intense. It was while I was watching the news...266 calories...not bad while watching the news!

Diane Sue...we now keep it in the back shed with a padlock. It is such a pain but fortunately we do not have to grab it very often. I have never heard of Hobby Lobby. Will need to look it up. We have Michael's which sounds similar. Hope your grandbaby is feeling better.

Valerie...oh I get it with the fence. I thought the same thing that Deb did. That it went completely around your community! Congrats on keeping those legs in shape. I have mentioned my legs are so hard to keep toned. I can't lay off of them at all.

Carolyn...nice job on the RWH Upper workout. That is a great one and tough.

Deb...I do that a lot with her live workouts...stop when it comes to core. I really should work my core more but I never do. Every thing I do seems to be working it just fine so why add more? I liked that workout and hope to do it this weekend. We ended up with about 18-20 inches. What a mess. We never lost power so we were very thankful. We actually think it was the owner of the company that took it. I never liked him at all. He used to do work for Bob at one of his restaurants. That is terrible about your friends jewelry. Creepy they were in a file cabinet.

Have a great noght all.

Good morning,

No workout yesterday, thought I would take a rest day. We were basically stuck in the house all day, our dog club meeting was cancelled due to weather. Once it stopped, we did go out to Best Buy and the pet store....the roads were fine.

Diane Sue, I hope your grandson is feeling better today. Did he have a fever? Next trip to Hobby Lobby, I will look around more. I used to do a lot of crafts, but have not been into that stuff for years.

Valerie, the gate on the road to the community sounds good for drivers... that guy that stole from you just walked in...I guess something is better than what you had before.

Carolyn, nice job on the R/W/HIIT workout. Thanks for the info on Vital Proteins...I will go over to their site and read up on it.

Lori, I can picture you jumping while the news is going....Jumping higher and faster when it is something you don't like to hear, :). I bet all that jumping is a great core workout.

A workout ( hopefully) and the dogs both need grooming and baths. I should have done that yesterday, when we were stuck in the house because of the snow…

Take care,

Most of our community is surrounded by a green belt, a cliff, and a river . the road is the main way in. we don't expect this will be 100% protection but anything that makes it more difficult will deter a certain number of thieves who will go elsewhere. it is costing a few $$$ to set it up. we padlock our main outbuilding. another smaller one only has some garden tools and a rototiller. not likely to get stolen.

I did the spin from x train yesterday, 55 minutes. I can't get an accurate heart rate or calorie burn, but it was about 13 miles. will see what DH comes up with for my birthday for a HRM. the spin bike is the newest. it gets readings from the chest strap but one or two, and then keeps repeating the exact numbers so I don't think they're accurate at all. that's how it calculates calorie burn, so that is also fiction.

so sorry you are dealing with all the snow. Lori you haven't reported on how Gigi and Nilla are doing. update us when you can.

Deb so funny about the keyboard.... I also wear off the letters. You can buy stick on letters to replace them but I wear them off quickly. by the time you buy those, might as well get a new keyboard. I think it's the hand lotions I use that wears them off or maybe my nails.. DH's keyboards don't wear no matter how much they get used. I need to be careful about placement of insert, delete, end keys. if they are in a different arrangement, it is hopeless to re-learn.

ETA we went to a state park and did a trail run this morning. oh boy that was hard. need to do treadmill more often or that is too hard! 41 minutes, and a couple miles with a lot of up and down and a lot of mud puddles. zero cross over effect from everything else I've been doing.,

Today was RWH Low Impact HiiT One. It's good that it is a short workout since I didn't feel like doing much today. The cold weather is just about gone for us and it should start to warm up later this week. I'm looking forward to the return to normal although it will mean the start of spring allergies.

The live workout scheduled for today looks like one that I would like. It's low impact HiiT.

Hello to all. Have a great day.

Good evening all,

This morning was SB's Upper Body 4, 31m. This was a great upper body workout. I went a little heavier than Suzanne and oh my it was good. I followed up with pne pf her Bounce Streaming workouts. Total time was 40 mins / 213 Cal. I bounced again watching the news tonight too. It worked well for me yesterday so I figured why not? Ended up doing another 40 mins and 284 cal. My husband even bounce tonight! Only about 10 minutes but he still bounced!

Carolyn...today's live workout sounded great. I am going to watch the clip after I finish here. It is a short workout that will be nice to tag on to another.

Valerie...when is your Bday? Soon? That would drive me nuts if I did not feel my HR monitor was not accurate. So sick of the snow. Heard more this weekend too. :(. GiGi is doing really well and is a very sweet pup. Her new thing now is loving tummy rubs. When we get home se is all excited and immediately rolls over for us to rub her tummy. It is still a challenge with Nilla though. She pushes her limits. I wish I could post pictures from my ipad. That would make it so easy.

Deb...jumping is a great core work. SB has a new core workout that is only 5 mins. I like it because, as you all must know by now, I hate core work but can handle 5 mins. :). She uses a squishy ball that is placed below the small of your back. Gigi loves bath time. Nilla, not so much.

Judy...today's SB workout really was a great one When she used 5's I used 6.5 and it was perfect for me. I used 3's and 2's at one point too. Funny how using such light weights really can work you. A few years back I would have never dreamed I would be using them and feeling the burn like I do.

Have a great night all!

Hi Everyone,

Chris and I had our Dr. appointments today. We got our blood tests yesterday and they had the results back already. My cholesterol went down, but not enough to make my Dr. happy so he wants me to take a low dose statin. I really didn't want to do that, but I am willing to give it a try. I also got a pneumonia shot today. Chris's results were good. He has to get a colonoscopy later this year. No workout today, but I will be back at it tomorrow.

Deb-I agree about the core work, I don't like the on your side leg lever lifts either. I always feel like I am going to get injured or strain something when I do those.

Diane Sue-I hope your grandson is better today. We have a Hobby Lobby and a Michael's nearby.

Lori-That sounds like a good workout. I will check it out tomorrow. I agree-using light weights can work very well. I like SB's upper body workouts and I always feel a good burn using lighter weights. I used the Apple Watch ActionSleeve this week and I really liked it. It's going to work great for kickboxing workouts.

Valerie-great job on the workouts! Hope you get a nice HRM for your birthday!

Carolyn-I'm not looking forward to Spring allergies either. The one good thing about cold weather is not having to deal with outdoor allergens.

Today, I did Ice Boot camp Circuit with blizzard blast mix, 57 minutes, 355 calories. My grandson 6 came for awhile. I spent the afternoon at my daughter's house visiting. My husband met us later and we went for Chinese food in our favorite restaurant where she lives. I just finished making Gertie some dog treats. We are almost out. I did not get anything done with my phone yet. Maybe tomorrow. I am to tired to mess with something like that. I would probably find myself trying to put all of my stuff back on it and staying up half the night.

Valerie, that is interesting the on how your spin bike does your calories. We have a lot of gated areas around here. Most though you see one car open the gate and the next follows them in. One of the more affluent neighborhoods close by has a gate but there is an attendant in it to check when people go in. I would imagine that would be costly. I do see that some would be thieves would be less likely to want to slip inside. People steal the oddest things. My daughter had someone steal her Garmin and also took her Christian music CD's. They left some other things that would have been more worthwhile to them. It is good to be observant and nice that you think of others. I had the letters rub off the keys on one laptop and used my grandchildren's abc stickers on the ones I couldn't see. I haven't had it happen in years though.

Carolyn, my grandson seems better today. He was eating a bit more and when I was at their house he went outside for a bit trying to drag a kite around to get it to fly. It ended up in the 70's today. A very nice day to be outside.

Lori, I have found you can get a very effective workout with light weights. That is great that Gigi loves her bath. Gertie likes hers. She just gets in the shower and waits. She seems to enjoy all of that attention. Great workouts today. 10 minutes is good for your husband bouncing. We have Michaels here too. Hobby lobby has much more than Michaels. I use their app and get their discounts all of the time. It is great when I want a new journal and I get 40% off of it.

Judy, I am sorry that the Cholesterol was not low enough. Maybe you can still work on it while on the Statin and not need it for too long. They told me that protocol for the pneumonia immunization was longer between getting it that it was previously.

I am dreading the allergy season. It has been warmer here and I have had reaction to the cedar pollen. I have been taking bee pollen and just ran out of the natural D-Hist I was taking. I am starting to get that itchy throat and sneezing again today. I may have to find a replacement for it. Amazon still has it but it is 79 dollars for the same size bottle I purchased last year for 24 dollars. I saw another product with pretty much the same ingredients at Sprouts so I may try it. It does not make me feel drowsy or off. I think I have mentioned it before. It is mainly different nutritional supplements that I have seen mentioned on Dr Axe in one capsule.

Good morning,

Yesterday I did Live Metabolic Conditioning....42 minutes, 237 calories. I really like this one a lot.

Valerie, I agree, anything to minimize the people that are wandering around looking for something to steal is good! What kind of HRM are you looking at? wrist? or chest? etc. I still always get Polar, even though some have not been that good. I am using my original chest strap ( the hard one) with the newest watch that I have. No problems. If any, its usually with the watch, not the strap.

Carolyn, I like workout #2 of that one....its the one she uses weights. It flies by...no dread factor. I looked at the clip of the Live from yesterday that you mentioned....it does look really good. May do that one next week for cardio.

Lori, wow, you got your husband to bounce! That's great. Did he like it? How sweet that Gigi rolls over for her tummy rub.

Judy, I know how frustrating trying to lower your cholesterol can be. My doctor is pretty open minded about not prescribing meds for it if your HDL/LDL ration is good. When Cathe does those long lever lifts, I have to do knee bends instead. I just can't lift my legs on my side like that.

Diane Sue, glad your grandson is feeling better. Wow, you really get fluctuations in your weather there! I hope the Sprouts product works for you. Sometimes the prices on Amazon are out of whack!

A workout, then a vet appointment for the dogs this afternoon. We are able to take both in since John is off. This is a big help. Hopefully they will get all the need done and I don't have to take them again until next spring.

Take care,

We have 5 or 6 polar straps. It seems I used to get heart rates directly on the Treadmill and elliptical plus on the watch. watch died years ago and I never found a replacement. Things gradually deteriorated from there. The spin bike really doesn't work with it at all. It grabs a reading or two but repeats that number back over and over, and I have to keep pushing the heart rate button. I never get a believable number for calories so I have settled for time, distance, steps. Our road and mt bikes and hiking are the same..... no heart rate or calorie count.
My birthday is the 30th. I have no idea what DH will come up with. I tried to get him to look at Fitbit but I had heard they don't work well for wheeled sports. I don't want to wear anything24/7 either. maybe there is no one "best" thing. I don't care a lot about calorie burn because I never got believable numbers so ignored it.
I didn't get sore from our run yesterday. I need to do that more regularly. we are mt biking this morning, and plan on a real road ride this weekend. we have set records for rain this year. it's been wet, wet, wet. better than snow, snow, snow but it's been a while.

I don't remember what long lever lifts are, but expect that's a move I have issues with.

I have asked my doc to check my lipid levels again this year. always been really good, while DH's are terrible. we eat mostly the same thing although he eats way more sweets. I wonder how much is just genetic and not lifestyle related. good luck judy. lots of people take statins without trouble and get improvement. DH can't tolerate them at all. it was real obvious very quickly it would not work for him.

we have both Michaels and Hobby Lobby. I object to Hobby lobby's political positions so would never buy anything from them. I try to put my money where my mouth is.

Today was Lean Legs and Abs. This is another one that I did often when I first received it. I like it quite a bit.

Valerie, we have both of those craft stores here but I never go to Hobby Lobby. I feel the same as you about their politics. I think that high cholesterol is as much genetic as lifestyle. My numbers were borderline for a while a few years ago, but they are great now.

Deb, I like both of the RWH Low Impact workouts. The moves in Two were very similar to what I did the day before with Upper Body Circuit.

Hello to everyone.

Today I did Tracey Staehle's Hard Strikes, 61 minutes, 434 calories, heart rate, 126 avg./ 161 max. I then did Stron and Sweaty bonus abs, 13 minutes 69 calories and finished with Les Mills Pump Flow, 19 minutes, 63 calories. Total time 93 minutes, 571 calories. 5,426 steps.

Deb, it would be nice getting both dogs taken care of at the same time. I used to schedule Gertie and Mudd where there was several months in between. Gertie was always winter and Mudd summer. That way I purchased their Heartgard and flea and tick stuff as a 6 month supply for both. That way it wasn't as big of a shock as a year supply for both dogs. I don't understand how the price can be so ridiculous on some things on Amazon. You would think no one would be crazy enough to pay that for it.

Valerie, the Fit Bit does pretty well on steps. I get steps on the spin bike as well. The heart rate seems to be accurate as I had it compared with the heart rate they got at my dentist office at the same time. It just gives pretty low heart rates. I have learned a lot by monitoring over the years and looking at Cathe's met values charts for workouts and I am generally a couple of mets under what Cathe has. It helps get a good estimation of what the workout is. I do have my Fit Bit set for a Spinning setting when I use the spin bike.

Carolyn, Ripped with Hiit Low Impact are good workouts. I have done them so many times.

did a really nice 2 hour ride. I'm so pleased ... I can get up the difficult hill without a problem this year. makes me feel like my workouts have paid off. always like this particular ride and it's close by besides.
it was 6-7 miles altogether but on a mt bike that's more work than a road bike.
yes, the flea tick bill is a shocker, isn't it!. with only one cat, I only need to use it from april to November. deb, that's terrific you can get both doggies done at once. one trip and done.
I think people assume Amazon is always going to be cheapest but several times I've been surprised to find them much higher than other places. I don't automatically order from them.

Carolyn did you do anything in particular to get your cholesterol down? mine has always been fairly low and my hdl high, regardless of what I do or don't do. DH can't get his hdl up no matter how much exercise he does, always is around 30-ish. my neighbor has been trying on and off with statins for a year and just can't handle even half doses.

we had a brilliant meteor last night. dh saw it and so did my neighbor but I was taking a shower. it was colorful and lovely. and seemed very close.

Hi to all the lovely ladies,

I was walking the hills and then we got a ton of snow. I started with low impact step, and I did my lower body. I am now actually at the weight when I ran the Marathon. Sometimes, I work out late because Frank likes me to.
We had 14 inches of snow in Catskill, NY. I also have not done cardio leg blast in a while but I should do it soon. I don't know if I will ever be able to do To the Max, as I could not jump off and on such a high step. I think I am at the wrong place here, and my lap top acts up. I checked and it seems to be right. I found out that the Catholic church here has Mass twice a month.

Good evening ladies,

This morning was SB Barre Fire Tabata, 39m. I thought I hit start on my apple watch to record but never did! I have done this a couple of times. lol! Bounce after work again for 33m / 192 cal.

Deb...my husband has his headset on and bouncing as I type this! I love it. I now have the entire family bouncing. My son's GF will be here tonight and tomorrow. We have already discussed our bouncing workout for tomorrow. She loves SB's Bounce DVD so that is the plan for tomorrow. I have done that workout several times and like it too. We used to try and take Chester and Nilla at the same time. Will be a challenge taking GiGi and Nilla together.

Speaking of bouncing I have had an issue on my smaller jumpsport that I purchased. After a month or so of jumping the bungie cords randomly pop off. First it was every now and then. Now it is more frequently and several at a time. Annoying to say the least and it hurts for a second because it snaps into your leg. I called Jumpsport and come to find out they changed the design and I am not the first person to have this issue. They sent me some clips to use so we will see how this works. I received them today and will put them on in the morning. Hoping this resolves the problem. I am told the engineers are looking into this issue. I have had no issues at all with the larger one.

Judy...wow that is really fast turn around on your results. I still have yet to start cholesteral meds. I am close but still fighting it. Glad you are liking your Apple sleeve. It really solves the problem.

Diane Sue...I have not heard of Tracey Staehle. Will need to look her up. 93 minutes!! That is awesome! I seem to gravitate more to light weights/high rep workouts. I hardly ever do a Cathe DVD anymore. Even her Live workouts are few and far inbetween. Was going to do the recent Live Upper Body tomorrow but if will be bouncing with my son's GF instead. Perhaps Sunday I can try it out.

Valerie...that is awesome that your workouts are paying off!!!! Good for you!! I agree abput the flea and tick cost. Unbelievable how much money we spend on our two dogs! I always shop around as I have had the same experience with Amazon being more expensive.

Caitlin...we had a lot of snow too. This weekend more is coming. Poor GiGi. We really can't walk her with all this snow. We have no sidewalks at all where I live (just country roads) and the snow really pushes you too far into the street.

Have a great night all! Hi to Carolyn!
