My older mt bike has 26 inch wheels. the newer ones tend to be larger. make sure you check the batteries for being UL approved. there are risks from all lithium iron batteries. lots of companies have cashed in on the ebike trend and may use junk batteries. the batteries are a fire risk. consider where you store them, and whether you have a smoke alarm etc. read up on the risks. often people store in the garage where a vehicle full of gasoline is also. I dont know how common the risk is but we all know those batteries are a possible.

This morning I did JS One Mile of Motivation for 15 minutes, 93 calories burned, average heart rate 115 and maximum heart rate 143. After that I did STS 2.0 Chair Yoga which was 21 minutes and 36 calories.

Valerie, great job with the longer hike.

Diane Sue, great job with your short workout consisting of Raw Cardio Crush and Raw Yoga Stretch.

Hello to Cathy and Judy.

Been a busy last couple days. Wednesday Derek and I went to Fort Wayne to the zoo and had a really good visit there. Since they are open to 6 we got there at 12:30, and missed the worst crowds. That zoo is always busy early in the day. My mid-afternoon there were often no other people anywhere near us and since it was cooler the animals were more active than they usually are in the afternoon. Yesterday I did 30 Minute Kickbox express before I went shopping. This morning I did SJP step plus the low impact floor routine, STS 2 Standing Metabolic Core and STS 1. Still haven't officially set up a rotation, but that's where I'm starting. My sister's power in NC came back on late yesterday which they were not expecting. She's just messaged me that if she can pick up her ballot next week, she'll fly up to K'zoo for the time she was originally supposed to be there. So I may at least get to see her.

I'll get back on track tomorrow with posting.

Today I did CDorner step aerobics #420 43 minutes, 208 calories, 126/161 heart rate. I also did Cathe STS 2 Total Body Stretch. 23 minutes, 28 calories. Total time 67 minutes, 236 calories.

Valerie, I have paperwork on the batteries. Also, they are removable from the bike for charging. I read over the paperwork. We have smoke alarms all over. I guess I have not looked in the garage. Paperwork also says not to ride in wet weather. Not that I want to do that anyway. Yeah, electric cars have had problems too.

Carolyn, nice work on JS one mile motivation and STS 2 chair yoga.

Cathy, great job getting in yesterday's Kickbox Express and today's SJP step plus the low impact floor routine and STS 2 Standing metabolic core and STS 1.

This week flew by. Tuesday I did Live PHA Supersets and 15 minutes of rowing. Wednesday I did a 30 minute Peloton ride and a 20 minute row and yesterday I did Live PHA Heavy Weights Express. Today was a rest day and I will be working this weekend.

Carolyn-Great job with STS 2.0 Giant Sets Total Body, express, bilateral only, Cardio Quick Fix, workout two, Boss Loops Glutes and Core, JS One Mile of Motivation and STS 2.0 Chair Yoga. It’s good that your repair was done but too bad that you had to have it done so soon. I agree about newer items not having the same quality.

Cathy-I’m glad your sister made it back to Florida safely. Great job with 30 Minute Kickbox express, SJP step plus the low impact floor routine, STS 2 Standing Metabolic Core and STS 1.

Valerie-Great job with the mountain bike ride and the hikes. I will be needing cataract surgery eventually too. It's a good idea to get it done in the winter. Hopefully I can schedule mine at that time of year too.

Diane Sue-Great job with CDorner Defined Arms Dumbbells & Loop upper body, Balance & Stretch, CDorner Step and Sculpt Full Body, CDorner Booty Burner bands and dumbbells, the 20 minute stretch, Raw Cardio Crush and Raw Yoga Stretch.

I did stacked upper body and therapy work today. too windy outside. we drive back tomorrow.

the thing with cataract surgery isnt the procedure itself but the spread out checks that are needed. the check 2 weeks ahead. the day of, the day after for a recheck. a week after that. then the precheck for the other eye. I get thanksgiving in there too so its not much actual time but spread out over a long stretch. Judy its a surgery almost everyone will need, some sooner than others.

appliance makers dont even try to make things that last, like the fridges and washers that worked for 30 years. people want new features and dont keep anything that long. I read that anyway. everything electronic has a short shelf life.

diane sue my neighbor had 2 electric bikes and had to store in the garage and was very nervous about it and talked about it a lot. condos and apartments can have very restrictive rules about where they can be kept and sometimes that means nowhere. I just read a story about that and honestly had not thought about it much before.

This morning I did P30 Low Impact Hiit, Killer Legs Barre Bonus and STS 2 Mat Yoga.

Diane Sue great job with CDorner step aerobics #420 and STS 2 Total Body Stretch.

Judy great job with Live PHA Supersets, Peloton workouts and Live PHA Heavy Weights Express.

Valerie great job with stacked upper body and therapy work. I have huge issues with how disposable our world has become, but appliances are one of the worst. Not everyone can afford to keep fixing/replacing newer ones. The water heater we're getting replaced is 30 years old, the fridge that's still going is 30 years old and we still have the original air conditioner which we didn't replace when the furnace died a few years ago.

Hi Carolyn.

Today is my rest day. I went to the markets for produce and apples. We have had what my daughter called an apocalyptic week around here. Hurricane, flooding, and then a fire at a chemical plant east of the city that has smoke, haze and clouds in the air. We are not close to the plant, but the winds have carried the smoke to many areas of the metro region. It’s very dangerous for people closer to the plant and they had to stay inside. Schools in the two counties most affected were on fall break or did virtual learning days. They will have to continue with virtual learning next week.

Cathy, great job getting caught up with your workouts. Nice work with 30 Minute Kickboxing Express, SJP, Standing Metabolic Core, P 30 Low Impact HiiT, Killer Legs Barre Bonus, and STS Mat Yoga.

Diane Sue, nice job with CDorner Step Aerobics and STS 2 Total Body Stretch.

Judy, great job with Live PHA Supersets, 15 minutes of rowing, 30 minutes of Peloton rides, 20 minutes of rowing, and Live PHA Heavy Weights Express.

Valerie, nice work with Stacked Sets Upper Body and therapy exercises.

Have a nice day everyone.

Today I did CDorner Arms and Abs dumbbells only, 51 minutes, 198 calories, heart rate 113/150. I followed that with Flow with Myra Spine Flex, 29 minutes, 36 calories. Total time 80 minutes 234 calories.
I wrote down the arms and abs moves ahead of time listed under the video in Youtube I did not see shoulders listed so was surprised when that was the first group of moves. I might have chosen something else, but at least it was not overhead presses. We got the bike racks today and my husband put metal plates to stabilize the trunk things he bought to carry necessities in. Shock did not work so we put back the original and my husband adjusted it a bit with an adjuster on it that dropped it a tiny bit.

Judy, nice work this week on Tuesday's I Live PHA Supersets and 15 minutes of rowing, Wednesday's 30 minute Peloton ride and 20 minute row and yesterday's Live PHA Heavy Weights Express. I hope you had a nice rest day.

Valerie, nice work yesterday on yesterday's Upper Body Stacked sets and therapy. I understand on the extra trips back and forth with things like the cataract removal. I always dread most appointments that might make me have extra ones. I think it is not so much everyone wanting all of the new features. I think part is making the appliances with all of this modern circuitry that gives out and part of it is they make more money when they give out. My husband was looking at a refrigerator that had so many whistles and bells and really needless things. So much money for them. Ours could use replacing,
There are so many things to worry about. I liked the old easy to operate things without a bunch of buttons and things you have to figure out.

Cathy good job on P30 Low Impact Hiit, Killer Legs Barre Bonus and STS 2 Mat Yoga. We had our dishwasher repaired and it cost over 300 dollars, but was cheaper and easier than trying to get another. So far it has lasted another almost 3 years. The repair guy said those boards in them do not usually last more than a year and a half. He had to replace 3 components that send messages to each other. We have our old refrigerator in the garage and it still works fine. The ice maker quit in it. We keep some frozen items in it and mostly use it for drinks, water, and things I do not worry a lot about if it quits. Like meats and eggs I keep in the inside refrigerator.

Carolyn, apocalyptic sounds like a good term for all of that. We have fall break the 16th here. What mess. I keep seeing all of the pictures of destroyed homes and injured and missing people from the storms. I feel so bad for them.
