Peaceful Rainbow
Cathlete
Well we had our first snow. If you can call less than an inch, that only stayed in grassy areas and on things like cars. It's mostly melted at this point, but Derek did get to make use of his windshield brush this morning. I ended up shopping yesterday because we were pretty much out of cat food and I wasn't sure if the snow would be enough to impact roads. This morning I did the Killer Legs Barre Bonus and STS 2 Mat Yoga. Derek got accepted for a studio apartment, which my take from the info I've seen is that it's very minimal, but it's cheap enough that even working only 25 hours, he will be able to pay all his expenses and not have to dip into his savings.
Diane Sue great job with , CDorner yoga mobility and flexibility, her mobility challenge neck, shoulders and CDorner Step, Glute Finisher and Full Body Stretch. Sorry that you are having pain.
Valerie glad that you didn't have issues from your storm, but sounds like other areas weren't so lucky. Great job with the spin, upper body, therapy and walk. My only experience with 50's class sizes, since I was born in '60, is my parents who had graduating classes of around 15, very tiny school.
Judy great job with the Peloton workouts, and you're right about YouTube, you can find instructions for most anything!
Shannon my class wasn't small, they just have to shuffle us to small schools for a few years until they got the new one built. I think in middle school we were close to 400, though we graduated just over 300. K-2 we were spread out to 3 elementary schools and at least 5-6 old country schools. My first grade was definitely an interesting experience. One kindergarten, one first grade, we ate cold lunch at our desks, had a small playground, there was one may two single bathrooms and we had red and green shapes to flip so we knew if they were occupied. We also, put up and took down the flag on the pole every day. Three of us at a time and we knew how to fold it and put it up and down by ourselves. I've never done it since. And since there were no aids, that meant that the teacher had to go out with us and instruct us until we knew how, leaving the classroom with no adult, or once we know how, leaving 3 kids unsupervised right next to the street. A very different time. I would love to take the trip, it's finding a way to break it to DH who would be stuck here for the cats for the duration. I have done as much as 8 days, and they all survived. LOL
Carolyn great job with KCM’s Cardio Quick Fix.
