Deanie: Welcome to the Peeps! hmm.. Manmakers... like Ellie, I'll take one TDH (Tall/Dark/Handsome) that cleans and does NOT play guitar! (2 outta 3 aint bad for DH though!)
Ellie: if you get one of those Manmakers... what are YOU going to do? although watching a big hunk clean ~ what could be more relaxing! :D I'd go back to bed too, if I could! Had a horrible headache after the stress test last night... i'll PM you the blow by blow... won't find out actual results for a few weeks though :(

Wendy: Have you thought of putting bells on her PJ's? Like on her feet or ankles (i'm thinking jammies with footies ~ you could sew them to the cuffs or something!) so that way they won't bug you during the night, but if she does get up, she will "jingle all the way!" ~ I also thought of a kitty collar (as an ankle or wrist band), but then thought better about suggesting it! LOL!

Karin: will have to try the menu posting too! AND the egg salad! I'll bet I can find SOMETHING to replace mayo with, so thanks for the suggestion! I was running out of protein ideas!
JJ: good for you on the 1RM's... I have to admit, I haven't started them yet... I have the 8 page SNM list sitting on the steps though, so tonite on my way up I will give a few a try...
Heather: WOW! you have been a busy girl! I have a few DOMS from mondays workout (DM Cardio premix) and ouching still today! We just gotta keep moving and they will get better!

Good afternoon, Peeps!!

My jello legs have been reduced to jello calves only, man that calf work is a killer!!

DW and I are on a roll with taking down the decorations, so much so that I'm postponing my GS workout until tomorrow...I'm getting a decent workout just hauling Christmas totes around. This is one of my least favorite days of the year, the tearing down of the decorations may be second only to the putting up of the decorations, so I'd rather get it done today!

Gayle...a rain event here, you don't have to shovel rain, so I'm good with that! Glad you're enjoying the Wii Fit.

Wendy..your daughter, my cat...both enjoy a good under the tree snooze, Simba won't be happy as the tree is going up to the attic this evening!

Karin...ever try Kashi Blueberry Waffles, I love these!

Ellie..your kids simply crack me up!! Hope they realize they have an awesome mom!

Heather..I need to do Cardio Kicks later this week, haven't done it yet, will give me two days of KB this week.

You guys are too funny.

Manmakers are a certain intense round of kettlebell workout.

JJ yes I do my swings in rounds
40 reps w/ my 16kg/35.2#
40 reps w/ my 12kg/26.4#
20 reps w/ my 8 kg/17.6#
a minute rest then I do the circuit once more for a total of 200 swings. Its doable but doing them following Step Blast was something else but I did it and can pat myself on the back for a job well done and for pushing myself harder.

That IS a great idea to use Greek yogurt instead of mayo (I prefer the taste of Lite Miracle Whip over mayo). What an awesome idea, Karin! I actually make my own greek yogurt by straining fat free regular plain yogurt over night. YUMMO!

Heather, I too like the twist in this season. I DID feel badly that they had to go home after just one week, but I like the message it sends!

Agave nectar….I bought my very first bottle last month! I bought it to make an oil and vinegar salad dressing to add just a bit of sweetness to it and YUMMO! Straight from the bottle, it actually does taste like honey to me. I bought a light-orange color (is that considered amber? LOL) in the health food section of my regular grocery store.

OK…time to cook dinner…..kids and I are having grilled chicken (for them) and flounder fillet (for me), shells and cheese (for them) and baked potato (for me) and steamed veggies (HOPEFULLY for ALL of us, lol).

I am out of my mind. I was BORED today after napping so I did HIS!!! No weight work just the step. That 3rd segment had me flipping all over the place!
But that's 2 days in a row of cardio. I am going to pat myself on the back!!!

Deanie, I have no idea what a tabata of ropes is. Does that have anything to do with KBs? I hope they lived up to your anticipation!

Becky, do you think your sore throat was just from dryness? You're not used to heated air.;)

Hi guys! No workout for me today...DH's snoring kept me up and I was SOOOO tired, I just couldn't get up to work out. And I know that not working out is making me feel even worse. I've decided that if his snoring wakes me up tonight, I'm just bringing my alarm downstairs and spending the rest of the night on the couch. I've been busy with work and things at home. DD is doing great now, and is overflowing with energy LOL.

Oh, I do have to share a huge success with you! The company cafeteria was making calzones today, and I love calzones. And guess what I did? I brought lunch from home! A PB&J on whole wheat and apple slices. Much better, and much lower in sodium.

KARIN - How are you doing? Is the fire anywhere near you or is it a little further north than town? I could see the smoke on the ridges when I was driving home from work but I was surprised it was so far south...I thought it might have been west of Berthoud or Longmont. Let us know how things are for you!

For everyone else, sorry, but no personals tonight :( You all have been too busy for me to keep up! LOL!!
