Paris Hilton is sentenced to 45 Days in Jail

I guess she violated her probation, so she should be bearing the consequences just like the average person.
I feel kind of bad for her though, she'll have a heck of a time in jail, can you imagine her inmates, whoa!
I didn't follow it really, but from what I read it sounds like it's deserved and I am glad she didn't get special treatment.

A friend of mine lost her little sister due to a drunk driver. I have absolutely no compassion for anyone that decides to drive drunk. Even if she took two drinks it doesn't matter. If you're going to drink don't drive period. She deserves this sentence and everyone that does the same deserves jail too. She has a history of violating the law and doing what she wants. The Hilton family have enough money as it is. They should just buy Paris her own deserted island so she can do whatever she wants and stop putting others in danger.

Anyone who drives while under the influence should get more then 45 days in jail. If anything they should lose their licence altogehter.
Did she not have enough money for a cab that night? Daddy couldn't send a driver to pick her up?
I don't have any compasion for anyone that drives drunk either. Alot fo innocent people have been killed and families have been hurt b/c of stupid people like this.

P.S She will probably just take the cameras in with her and make a show out of it.Im sure she will benefit from it some how.

I like the "Keep Paris!" I'm actually very happy she's going to jail. That whole group is horrid, and I see too many kids emulating them because it's the "cool" thing to do. It's good that she's not above the law and I hope that some of these partying teens get a message.
She deserves to be in jail but I am not convinced it will be 'hard time'. My parents almost got killed by a drunk driver several years back who hit them head on while they were sitting at a stop light. I have no sympathy or patience for anyone who drives drunk or on drugs. If you are going to drink, take a cab or have someone else drive. Paris of all people could afford to have her chauffeur pick her up.

I agree why, why , why would she drive when she could have someone drive her? Oh yeah, she thinks she can do whatever she wants without any consequences. I am glad she going to jail. Wish she would drop out of sight forver. But, she's only gonna get more publicity for her narsacissist(sp?) self!

Before you throw sticks and stones at me, no, there is no defense to drunk driving, does she deserve to go to jail for violating her probation? Yes, absolutely! But let's be honest here, most of us were young and dumb at some point, doing things we probably shouldn't have done. She just got caught.
I feel sorry for her, all of her money doesn't really bring her happiness either, does it? She looks more like a little girl lost.
