P90X January Starters, Monday!!!

Well, as soon as I came home today I watched Oprah (who I love!). She show was about the older woman and beauty, happiness.... What a show!!!! A real empowerment for women.

Well....I flew to my exercise room and really "brought" Kenpo. I love that workout.

I hope someone else saw this show today. It was great! Most of the women all said they ate really well and exercised with a passion. A 70 year old, beautiful woman rollerblades and such. I noticed a lot of yoga going on too!

Sorry, no time for personals.

Just wanted to report that CS&T is FINALLY done. No ARX...yet. I'm not sure if it will get done tonight at all. If not, I will work in 3 days of abs this week some other way-I'm not worried.

I ended up bringing Joey to the doc after all. He has an ear infection. Poor guy. Hopefully he'll start feeling better tmrw. Started him on antibiotics tonight.

Hello all

Day 1 of the Third rotation!! I'm so glad to hear Tony say German potato soup! I miss that workout. I'm doing pushups on my feet now - certainly not as many as I used to do on the knees but it will come. I still have to do the diamond ones on the knees though.

Does anyone else get really chapped hands from all the pull ups? I have a padded pull up bar and I also wear weight gloves and still the pads of my hands at the base of my fingers are cracked and peeling. It goes away when I don't do pull ups like in recovery week. Besides lotion, any suggestions out there?

Thanks ladies for all of the encouragement! I do appreciate it. The hard work is paying off, just takes a little time.

Wendy - I hope you get to go to bed early tonight and that the little guy is feeling better so that he lets you get a good night's sleep. A good nights sleep will put a whole new light on things.:)

Nancy - "I won $300 in the superbowl last night and another $25 for having a touching box??? :7 ummmmmm - chuckle:D Congrats to you!! Ok - seriously though, your X/Cathe workout looks awesome! I have to have my Sundays off so I will modify a bit but this looks like fun. Have you done this rotation? What kind of results? I guess Yoga is here to stay}(

Laura - I would love to lose in my hips. My hips and but are my problem area - more so than my abs. So, I will be really happy when I see my hip measurements going down. I wish we could tell our bodies where we want the fat to be removed first - wouldn't that be nice?? Damn genetics anyways :-(

DB - plyo on tap for me tomorrow too - and that is all I have to say about that.;)

Diana - Losing inches is impressive. Sooner or later, the weight will follow. I'll bet you feel better. Congrats on your stats:)

Melissa - I agree with Wendy on the weight issue. Tony says bring it, so ya better bring it. If you don't like the results after doing it awhile, you can always back off, but I would stick it out for the time being just to see what will happen.

Well all - still got lots of paperwork to do and I've procrastinated long enough!

Angie, German potato soup! OMG! LMAO! I don't understand how so many folks can't find the humor is Tony's personality/antics! I think he's pretty friggin' entertaining and also VERY easy on the eyes!}( ;) }( I haven't been doing the X long enough to comment on the chapped hand problem. What if you did the push ups on a mat? Think that might help?? Just a thought. :)
