Morning, girls :D How is everyone this Sunday morning?

Angie :: yes, I do speak German…I’m not 100% fluent, but I would say I am proficient. You could say I "get by" with no problems…It is about a 7 hour flight there, 8 hours on the return…I don’t have any trips in the works for the near future :(. I miss everyone, so I hope it won’t be too long. Glad you like the KM premix. If you are open to kickboxing, then I think you would probably take to KPC. It has Legs & Glutes on it and some excellent premixes, which I'm just now discovering.

Diana GASP! $75 for a helmet??? Wow. I had no idea the equipment was so expensive. Sounds like quite a workout you’ve got planned for today…Yes, I did download the FitDay software, and I liked it better than the online version. But if you download, then that means you are logging only on one PC, so it sounds like it may not work for you. Sparkpeople seems to get a lot of positive comments around here.

Hi Nancy, Wendy, & Laura (if you're back)!

I just finished a 40-minute run...all this leg work is making a difference...definitely felt strong out there today...now off to stretch and then hit some Sunday sales. I really could use a new pair of cross trainers.

Have a great day! BBL--

Good Mornin

I was up until 2am reading that darn book. I got started late b/c DS wanted to go look for worms last night. Well, we had to wait until about 11:30 until we even went out.;( He's heard me talk about it and he knows that he will be going fishing at the river next weekend so I thought I'd better humor him. Those suckers are fast! I got quite a few but....ahem....I do have some experience in worm hunting. LOL!:) I just wish they would come out earlier.

Cathy - I got out the Cathe bible now that you mention the premixes on KPC and there are definitely some good ones there. I guess I didn't realize it was on the same CD as L&G. I will definitely be getting this the next time Cathe has a pre-sale. With all she's got planned for this summer, I'm sure it won't be too long.:) I wish I would've gotten it with this pre-sale though.
I am definitely a sparkpeople fan, but it does take quite a bit of time out of my evenings. That site is addicting!
Sounds like you had a great run! So glad this rotation is agreeing with you. Doesn't it feel great when you hit on something that works?

Diana - DS goes to football "camp" which is basically just 3 nights of training at the school. Right now I just have to get him a mouth guard and they will provide everything else. However, when the season starts, I'm not sure what I will be in for. It makes me feel a little bit better if I just consider it an investment in his health. I really hope he likes it, especially since it was a $50 registration fee for the season and now $25 for football camp. I'm seeing a trend here and since this is the first time through this I'm just wondering what more I am in for. I know I need to get some shoes but I'm hoping I can pick some up fairly cheap.

Howdy Wendy, Nancy and Laura - hope you are all having a relaxing Sunday. You are all probably in church right???

I'm not as energetic as yesterday, but I haven't finished my first cup of coffee yet either. Hopefully I'll get my umph back and I can tackle the 5th wheel since we will be off again to the river next week. I'm thinking maybe I'll w/o today and take tomorrow as my rest day instead but I'll wait to see how I feel.

Good Morning Girls. Quick check in for me. Another busy day...

Angie: All of Jari's work outs are great but Ripped is more intermediate so I would not neccessarily suggest that unless you are in the market for a slightly easier work out. My fave of her's is Slim and Lean! Her work outs are tough! She really knows how to test your endurance! }(

Cathy: Some where you commented about thinking the Hibatchi dinner was last night but it sounded like you thought you had the day wrong. You didn't. It WAS last night. Fantastic meal! VERY YUMMY!:9

Hello to everyone else!

I'm off to do the GSBS&B timesaver. Yes, I put it off AGAIN because we ended up coming home last night so I knew I could get it in today. I'm happy about that. I will also do abs if I have time.

BBL!

GSBS&B Timesaver and 6 mins abs are DONE!

I'm off again...now I have to go clean out my car...YIKES, this is gonna be scarey!:p

BBL!

Hi Ladies,

I just finished with S&H chest and triceps. My tri's are fried. I will be taking the bodystep class this afternoon.

I have my naval piercing appt. today:) Hopefully it doesn't hurt too bad. After that I'm taking Jerod to the library. Apparently he can't check anything out until I pay his fine. He didn't return a library book prior to his 20 day tripx(

Cathy-I would love to travel as much as you do. I don't even know a second language, which is becoming more critical all the time. Our high schools require 1 yr of foreign language and are thinking of making it 2 years.

Angie-so you were out worm hunting last night:) I can tell you that football is very expensive here. Jerod has been using his brothers equipment the past couple years but he's so much bigger than they were. The football fee is $125, football camp is $50, cleats are $50-$100. I always watch for sales on cleats since he only fits in them for one season.

Wendy-sounds like you had a great time at dinner last night. I'm sure your car isn't as bad as you make it sound.

Hi to Nancy and Laura!!

Happy weekend ladies,

Diana

Angie :: you were up pretty late last night…worm hunting??? Good God! You are a good mom! *lol* I’d have to say, kid, you’re on your own on that one…Anyway, no wonder you’re not as bright & bushy-tailed today. Hope you get your second wind.

Wendy :: OK, I feel like doing some abs now. That’s when I know I’ve gone out of my gourd. I normally *hate* abs. What is this??? *lol* Am also starting to feel guilty with all this talk of cleaning. I usually wash my car myself, but I think I will take it to the car wash this week.

Diana :: Oooh, good luck getting the piercing today! Hope it’s not painful…Well, I am lucky to have family overseas; otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to afford to travel…But I have been recommending to friends interested in Europe that a good idea is to make travel arrangements when you are actually over there. It’s so much cheaper. You can get unbelievable deals on flights – if you’re willing to fly a bargain airline, you can jet to practically any major city for 30 or 40 Euros. It’s a steal!...Enjoy the bodystep class!

Hello again

I haven't done a darn thing yet today, except go to the grocery store, which I hate to do on a Sunday but there were some sales on things that I needed to stock up on and the boys wanted to take some of the cans back that they collected during the last race. DH has been yelling at them to get the cans out of the pole barn.:)

DH just got home from fishing. I think I'm gonna drag him out to the 5th wheel with me to help clean.;-) With both of us out there, we can get it done in no time, then we can sit and watch the race.:)

Hey Wendy - did you ever hear anything back from your certification yet? I don't know why, but I have been really kickin that idea around again lately. Would you mind sharing how much it cost you? And how did you start out? Is there a website you could refer me to? Also, do you know if certification varies from state to state or school to school? Oy! What am I getting myself into?

Diana - Belly button piercing huh? You are a brave girl! Hope all goes well with that. All you girls sure are spending a lot of time at the piercing/tatoo parlor. LOL!:D
As far as late library books go, I have to write the return date on my calendar or I would never get the books back in time. Which reminds me, I have a date with the library on Tuesday after I drop off DS at football camp.
So, have YOU been there with the worm hunting?? I would actually be surprised if you said no, especially with all those boys - 3 right?
It sure sounds like I am getting a deal with the prices I am paying for football. Geesh - that's a lot of dough!!;(

OK - gonna go break the news to DH that he doesn't get to sit in front of the TV with a beer just yet.}(

Angie

Hey Cathe - we must've been posting at the same time. Can I make a confession? I actually kinda enjoy the worm hunting thing. It's kind of fun.....I know.....I'm warped.

So you got your workout done on a Sunday? That's dedication! Good for you.;-) Not me.....still too much cleanmax to do. Tomorrow will be B&G and I'm not looking forward to it b/c that one is really hard for me.}( Have a great Sunday!;-) :)

Hey Angie~

That's cool if you like digging for worms ~ I'm just teasin' 'cause I'm so squeamish when it comes to creatures. :D Hey, we're all a little warped in our own way...I consider my workout week to end on Sundays, so I usually do work out on weekends - a lot of times b/c I'm playing catchup. Not an issue, though, when school's not in session. I recently made Mondays a yoga day, and I really like the change. It's nice after intense weekend workouts. B&G is a favorite, but yeah, it is tough stuff! I have been doing it mostly as mishmoshes lately. Have you ever done the Leg Blast premix? Man, is that killer!!! But I need it. I just tweaked my next rotation and have decided it'll be another round of intensive butt & legs.

Oh my!!! Another week of butt & legs??? You are brave. LOL! I'm definitely going to do a premix of some sort tomorrow b/c the last time I did B&G in it's entirety I said absolutely NEVER again!:p I'll have to check out the LB premix. Enjoy your yoga tomorrow.:)

And, just FYI, b/c I just KNOW that you wanna know this - when you go out at night worm hunting, you don't have to dig. They lay out on the ground at night to mate, but ya gotta be quick and quiet. They can feel the vibration when you walk so you have to sneak up on them and they can sense the flashlight too which makes it even more difficult to get em. Also, don't be overly impressed with me....I used latex gloves. I knew when I came in I would want a snack and I knew I just wouldn't be able to do that if I had even a remote trace of worm gooo on my hands - LOL!

>>>Hey Wendy - did you ever hear anything back from your certification yet?<<< No not yet. Just sent it out a week ago. It will take 4-6 weeks to get an answer back!

>>>I don't know why, but I have been really kickin that idea around again lately. Would you mind sharing how much it cost you?<<< I don't remember the EXACT cost but I paid somewhere between $330 and $350 for everything I needed.

>>>And how did you start out? Is there a website you could refer me to?<<< Well it depends on who you want to certify with. There are sooooo many choices! Here's the link to the org I chose: http://www.afpafitness.com/index.php

>>>Also, do you know if certification varies from state to state or school to school?<<< It doesn't matter what state you are in as long as you certify with a nationally recognized organization. I think ACE is even INTERNATIONALLY recognized, if that makes a difference to you.

Hey everybody!!

The late poster, as usual. I did read everyone's post and it's nice to know that you're all doing well. I had a busy day today with my mom over all weekend. It's really tough seeing your mom not doing well. I'm super depressed today!!!!

Rather than depress everyone else, I'm going to bed!!! Sorry, I'm not much company.

BTW, ewwwwwwwww - worm hunting, lol!!!
