Oxygen & Clean Eating Mags

So, I canceled my subscriptions to Shape and Fitness magazines. They were getting thinner and thinner (no pun intended), and the decent fitness articles were starting to dwindle and become repetitive. I was thinking of subscribing to either Oxygen or Clean Eating, or maybe both. I'm happy with my workouts so I don't really need those, but I was looking for a mag more for lifestyle stuff, recipes, etc. Thoughts?

I get Clean Eating Magazine, and it does have a lot of yummy looking recipes in it, but most require ingredients that I just don't have/can't easily find. I do like the magazine, though. I really like Health Magazine and Natural Health Magazine as lifestyle magazines, though. Natural Health is one of my new favorites. I've never read Oxygen.

I get Clean Eating and love it! I have yet to run into the same issue Stephanie has with ingredients. I love the recipes and the helpful articles! I have never read Oxygen so can't really speak to how good that one is.

I get Clean Eating, but I also get Healthy Cooking (or is it eating???) magazine from Taste of Home. I really like that one.

I love the Clean Eating magazine as well as Women's Health. Oxygen was too chock full of supplement ads which a lot of members of the forum have also complained about.

I subscribe to both magazines. I'm probably going to let my subscription to Oxygen expire because I do find it is tons of supplement ads which are annoying and I find the information repetitive after awhile. I like Clean Eating as well - definitely some good recipes although sometimes I find I have to modify or add spices because some of the ones I have tried have been a little bland for me.

I used to subscribe to Clean Eating and generally liked it (except for the bazillion Tosca Reno ads on every third page!). But I went vegetarian, and they focus on a very animal-protein based diet in that magazine. I'd guess 80-90% of their recipes use animal protein; I also noticed their recipes sometimes lack a bit of flavor - I always had to doctor them up a bit, so I let my subscription lapse.

I have an Oxygen subscription that I am getting ready to cancel. The recipes in it never seem inspired to me. If you have been working out and doing research for a while, Oxygen will get repetitive pretty quickly. I haven't learned a new move or technique in there in years. I haven't read Clean Eating but someone had it on their counter the other day and it looked interesting.
