Cathlete
Hello, Cathe or anyone else who might be experienced with this:
For the past few days, I have felt like my lungs will not expand enough to allow me to get a satisfying breath, even when resting. Is that overtraining?
(I know you are not a dr. and I do not intend to substitute any advice here for sound medical attention. I will go the Dr. if it gets worse or does not go away in a day or so.)
Could this be related to overtraining? I have been following the January rotation, however, I have not had an off day since Christmas Day- I know shame on me! I was sort of trying to count Yoga workouts as my off days- 1 per week. That's what I did for most all of December.
To me, it feels like the time in pregnancy when the baby has finally grown big enough that you can't expand your lungs enough for the two of you. In those cases, for me, it usually lasted a few days and then my lung capacity seemed to expand enough.
I don't know if anyone has experienced something like this and it related to workouts. I don't know what else it could be. Go to the dr? Go to an oxygen bar? Go to bed?
I had really upped the intensity of my workouts in December and now in January I have tried to go with 70 minute workouts for the most part. Maybe that's just too long for me right now to do on a daily basis.
Sorry this is so long!
TIA-
Amy
