Opinions on Valor BD-3 Squat Stands?

Well, I tried. This is what I got back - no luck 
Hi Shana,
I asked about the group price Valor is not going for it. I guess it would all have to be shipped to one place. The price right now we believe will be $20.00 more. I did put that on your sales order. I will advise you in June if the price goes up more and see how you would like to proceed. Have a great weekend!

So do you all think that the new pull-up device would be able to work for squats or not? Would it perhaps be too unsafe? Hmm . . . it would be nice to have to only buy only one piece of equipment!
