I share your grief

Two hours ago I was in the back yard laying Sweetheart to rest. We had her for 16 years and had to put her down today. The vet removed a cancerous lump three months ago. It grew back faster than her hair. I'm glad her pain has stopped. I love that little kitty, and I will miss her dearly. My two oldest kids moved out this year. She was a big part of memories wrapped around their childhood.I feel your pain tonight in a very real way.

Stacey, I'm so very sorry for the loss of your furbaby. He was a lucky little man to have someone who loved him so much while he was here on earth. He obviously loved you back for being the reason that he was not out in the cold, and for giving him companionship and adoration.

I lost my orange cat a few years ago. She died in the heat storm. It was awful.
