Today was a trip to the chiropractor, came home & went for a walk & did a stretch:)

My computer monitor is broke I can't get it on. The computer comes on but the monitor iis black! So I'm using my phone.

Think I'm having a bad fibro flare - lots of pain - so I'm just keeping my head down & trying to get through the day!
Missy (dog) has an abcessed tooth, so will need surgery on Friday - :( Dogs get expensive!!! Took the male (Tuck) in for a check up yesterday evening. He's doing great, thankfully!
I broke down & ordered some workout pants from FeelFit Wear. Couldn't resist the $30 off! Between them & the new workouts, maybe I'll feel like working out again some day.
Renee: You've been rocking the workouts, girl! Way to go!!! I hear ya on the snoring thing! I have sleep apnea, so I wear a sleep mask & that drowns out a lot of DH's snoring. I have to go into bed first & get to sleep, or I can't get to sleep, either. DH says I snore loudly, too. :(
Cathy: Has your chiropractor suggested "stepping up" your workouts yet? Surely your garden is about done? Were you able to sit at the auction sale or did you have to stand the whole time?
Caitlin: Great to see you here. Did you ever hear from James? So, are you considering teaching at the college level? My sister assures me that it's very different from high school teaching. I come from a whole line of teachers - both grandmothers, both parents, & both sisters! I was the only one that went a different path, although I did teach natural childbirth classes for awhile.

I did the cardio segment of Step, Jump and Punch

I did most of it high impact, so I am icing my right knee for twenty minutes. It is already almost seven, and I do not know where the day went. It was only 45 minutes, but it felt longer, but I can say it was a lot of fun. It skipped a lot, and I don't want to buy another one yet.
 
I never heard

I never heard from James, and he did not even pick up the e-mail I sent. I am not calling or e-mailing again.
 
Today was step & stretch:) While I was finishing the stretch the cops came in to order us out because of fire! So it's been one of those days:(

I sat for most of the auction(this time) I can't step up my workouts until the garden is done! Today I saw flurries in the forecast for Friday!:(

Jane mummhum you do have to check in! We miss u if u don't! Wow I didn't know u was a teacher of child birth! Very neat! Man I still would die if I had to teach high schoolers or middle school they are so hard to get to. Phew id have to chole a few and get fired lol

Today I did yoga with tamal dodge. Relax and energize two. On one I did both, it was 73 minutes all together. It was good. I did upper body and I am sore still I'm so happy.. I never get sore anymore except when I did gym styles shoulder bi back! Thatt was sore some but pyramid really got me good. I tjink I may do a cardio tomorrow and lower body pyramid tomorrow. Not sure yet. I'm trying to figure out how to work all body parts two times a week and still have four days at least for cardio. All that with out waring me out! Lol
Took computer in I'm mad it is second time I took it in since july. Grrr. Night all
 
Good morning ladies! I did Body Fusion yesterday evening, with 3 pound weights. Nothing says "starting over" like 3 pound weights - LOL! ;):p BUT, it was a workout, nonetheless, so that's a plus.
Cathy: I agree - you get quite enough of a workout doing all that gardening! My, it must have been scary to evacuate!!! Is the situation OK now?
Renee: You keep going great guns, girl! Proud of you! Could you do full body workouts, maybe even premixes of them, so that you'd have your 4 days of cardio?
Caitlin: Great job on SJ&P! Sorry it caused knee pain, though! Is it the high impact that does that? I'm with you - I don't get home until 5:30, then if I work out & stretch, it's at least 7:00 before I come down to fix supper! By the time I fix dinner & we eat, it's time for bed! :p I'm also sorry you didn't hear from your friend - I hope he's OK & not hurt or sick!

Today is an unscheduled rest day:( After yesterday & not sleeping last night, decided to make it a rest day!

Jane: Great on Body Fusion & if 3 LBS is the starting over limit where does 2 LBS. leave a person? It must have felt great to be working out!

We parked on the road & wiated! Hydro poles also burned & hydro was back on around 2 am:)

Renee: How do you like the instructor on your Yoga dvd?

I am sorry for your pain, and it is great to hear from you, CB. Renee, Pyramid is such an ouch workout, and I never do its lower body now as I hate anything with a high step.

I jumped so much during SJ and Pump, and I even jumped on the step, and I also jumped like crazy during the Hi Lo part, but icing my knee seems to do the trick. I took today off as I put my back out this morning cleaning my wooden floor on my hands and knees with Murphy's. My back went into spasm, and I also did so much walking, and I dragged a shopping cart back for three quarters of a mile. I also had to walk up seven flights of stairs, as I live in the building from hell, and one elevator seems to be constantly broken. I think I did enough, and my kind neighbor gave me two muscle relaxants to get my back out of spasm; they did the trick but I fell asleep. I just woke up at seven-thirty and I showered. It is hell living here without a car, and I did not buy the one I was planning to, because the woman wanted me to Western Union cash for it, and three people whom I trust told me not to. It is really odd she wanted to do it that way, and it could have been a scam. My kind neighbor Bill is looking for a car for me, and so is my friend Alan. It has to be local, not have too many miles, and I am stuck with a certain price range.

We are having a miserable Indian summer

Right now, it is so warm and humid here that I don't feel like doing anything. I cannot wait for this muggy Indian summer to stop. I know we here always have out aches and pains.
 
Wow! Indian Summer for Caitlin, & snow for Cathy! My goodness! I know what you mean, Caitlin - when it's too hot & muggy, you just can't do anything except melt! I'm so sorry you hurt your back! Thank goodness for the muscle relaxers - those spasms are horrid!
Cathy: I hear ya on the 2 pounders - if I had 2 pounders, that's where I would have started, but my lightest weights are the 3's. So, you were without power, too? That must have been so scary. I'm glad that your family is OK!
Renee: I bet you'll be glad to get your computer back! I hate having to do anything on my phone, but when I don't have access to a computer, it is a godsend! Good job on your workout!
I did Low Impact Challenge from the LIS series yesterday evening. I did it on only 1 set of risers, though. I couldn't believe how much of the choreography I had forgotten already. :eek: I figured since I was starting over, I'd take the time & get it down pat, so I rewound some segments quite a few times. I'll have to do it again soon, though, or I'll forget it again! ;):p:eek:
I'm trying acupuncture tomorrow for the tennis elbow. Wish me luck!

Today was body training along with a nice stretch!
So we are now up to about 2" of snow & it's still coming down!
At least now the weather is putting the fires out instead of driving them!

Jane: YAY on LIS-LIC:D I really hope you find relief with the acupuncture & good luck:)

Renee: YAY on 4DS & kickbox:) but your poor feet! I hope the ice helps!

Caitlin: Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry about your back! House Max always seems to get us one way or another

Janee. Nice job on LIC that isn't easy I think. I usually only use one riser anyway ...I can't seem to feel comfortable with More cause my legs seems to short forThat wide stepper, and more risers makes it feel wider! I know sounds silly but the top and one riser is plenty for my HR anyway so I'm good..

Caitlin, cathy is Right ..keep checking in. We like to her from u. I hope U are better today.

Cathy that is confusing one day fires then snow! I'm sure ur body is confused even lol. Nice workout!

I'm. Not sure what to do today I know it will be cardio. Nnoow it may be CSS again cause it fast and I just got off work. Or Step moves? Hummm.

Well we've now had about a foot of snow & still have wind! They were saying on the news that a year ago today the temps. were about 88 F( 30 C)
Can't make up my mind what to do today. Suppose to be cardio though!

I did crossfire last night. I usually try to stick to a 45 min or under and not to intense wo after work.. it just keep s me going that way But I wanted to push myself. I felt accomplished after!
Not sure what ill do for today I know cleaning again. I also want to catchup on reading. I always feel. Lazy if I read or watch tv during the day. So I'm gonna try to red while I clean. Lol but my workout is scheduled for 3. I have groceries to get as we'll. Him may not have time to read again. :(

Cathy: Oh my word! I can't imagine having over a foot of snow! We are paralyzed around here if we get more than an inch. Well, people just don't know how to drive on snow around here. :rolleyes:
Caitlin: Hope your back is starting to let up a bit! Is the cooler weather heading your way? We're at 70 today, but by tomorrow, it's supposed to get down to 30.
I took yesterday off. I don't want to burn myself out... HA! Actually, I was feeling rather dizzy & light-headed, so I thought it would be better to take the evening off rather than chance a clumsy accident (they don't call me Princess Grace for nothing...LOL).
Took Missy (dog) to the vet this morning for her oral surgery. Hopefully, we'll get to bring her home this evening. Will mean missing another workout, though. :( I go for my first acupuncture treatment this afternoon. I'll let you know how that goes!

Cathy that is great doing a dance exercise. That's like fun stuff. That's y I miss doing aerobics the old way I always felt like I'm on broadway lol I'm a geek I know. But the impact was to hihh after a whiile back in my 20s id kkump around doing hi lo with the best of them.
I did step works today I think thhat the one it was the last one. On cardio hits. I loved it. I kept up with every step I sweated and it was not difficult choreography ..it is like medium difficult aand very high. Fun and medium. Intensity. Just what I like.
