Oh man! This DOMS from Gym Style Legs is BAD!

Clarissa - I just saw this post and had to add my sympathies! I totally hear you on the leg DOMS after this routine! A few months ago I did this routine and was very sore the next day as expected. Throughout the day though, my calves started to hurt more and more. I have a long drive home from work and when I got home, no lie, I could not get out of the car! I thought I had seriously jacked myself up and had to CRAWL in the house (thank God I have a garage)! I could not walk at all (my legs were locked in the bent position) and actually called the doctor on call that night to see if I should have my DH take me to the emergency room. It turns out I had some kind of severe calf muscle spasm. Basically a muscle cramp from HE##. My DH and I had to kneed the muscle (sheer torture) until it relaxed enough for me to straighten my legs and walk. Anytime I would sit down, I would have to repeat the process to be able to stand again. We laugh our butts off about the whole situation now and I now eat bananas EVERY day to keep my potassium levels up. It's not like I hadn't done that routine 20 times before either, I just went a little too hard that day. ;)
