Not having children

I agree with Nancy, who said this was a fascinating topic.
I would not have children if you do not want to. Please do not feel pressured into it by friends and relatives. Being a parent is very difficult.
Overpopulation is a serious problem as well.
I have children and I love being a Mother. A lot of people have said that one person would have to stay home in order for them to be good parents (or implied that) and I do not feel that is true (but I think that is another topic altogether). I think that you can have a good career and have children. I have always worked, so does my husband, and my children are very happy with their daycare.
So it is your choice. I could say a lot of other things, but a lot of them have already been said.

Hi Fab40,

Not that this is a contest (and who would want to win it!) My daughter was colicky for 5 months!!! She still has a strong personality at 9 years old. It was extremely difficult plus my husband was away weeks at a time for work. I was working part-time as well and that turned out to be what kept me sane.
