My first post and I wanted to say hi to everyone. I joined the boards about a month ago and i try to read some of the threads off and on. What I like most is how everyone is very motivating and knowledgeable, and especially how Cathe interacts with everyone too -- very cool!
My Cathe collection is small (STS Total Body, High Reps, After Burn, Crossfire, LIS Trisets, and Lower Body Blast) but I love them. I've previously used the Firm, P90X, and Les Mills Pump but I think my body just got used to those workouts and wasn't producing results the way I wanted. Plus, I have hypothyroidism so it's harder for my body to burn fat. I needed something fresh! I started using After Burn and Crossfire over the last few weeks and I can enthusiastically say that not only have those two workouts made my body cry in agony (in a good way!!!) but they also enabled me to drop inches little by little in my waist, lower belly, and hips. When I say little by little, I mean about a quarter inch to a half inch each week. That's not bad considering the short amount of time I've owned those two! Both of those workouts pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of doing and I have so much fun while doing them. It feels good to walk away feeling like a superhero when the workout is over! And dare I say, those two workouts are a lot harder than anything in P90X, at least to me.
I am so impressed with Cathe's workouts that I already pre-ordered X-Train. I plan to add more dvds to my collection over the next few months and will probably pick a few from the Shock Cardio series next.
Cheers! -Jen
