New poll - what kind of workout are you....

Hmmm, I think my favorites were the kickboxing and the lower body blast last year, so I seem to be in the minority here. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the step, but I was in a corner, so it was at times hard to hear...especially with those "big ass fans" LOL

I thought last year's boot camp class was the BEST! I would love something like that again. And also - going back a few years -- at the 1st RT we did a high step (circuit) class on Sunday morning. That was very different and a lot of fun.

I've been thinkin'... maybe I could set up a cart and sell bottled water and hand out sweat towels while you guys workout -- LOL!!! :p :D

STEP!

I haven't been to one yet but I'm definitely hoping for as much step as possible. I'm not used to the other stuff yet. I'm doing step only and step circuits but that's about it. So, Step for me!

I looking forward to the step classes the most. The only live classes of any type I've ever been to were on cruises and only about four people showed up for the step classes which needless to say was nothing like a Cathe workout.

I'm with you Lorrie, the Bootcamp workout last year was my favorite of all the Cathe Road Trips I've been on. I also remember the high step circuit one you're referring to and that was also VERY good!

Michele, Cathe provided all the bottled water we needed, as well as power bars, etc. Hmmmm, maybe the towel will sell, but I'll probably bring the one the Cynthia gave us in 2007.

Sorry, looks like you'll have to workout.

Oh MAN!!! Okay, I'll do the crazy workouts... but the first person who makes fun of me is REALLY gonna get it!! I'll be armed with a heavy resistance Dyna-Band and I won't hesitate to snap you with it!! :p

<quakes in fear> I don't want to be around for that!

I loved step and kickbox equally.

The step class was intoxicating with everyone stepping together. But Like Miss Lee, I was terribly step challenged. Ok, so I am intimidated as heck, and then who takes the step in front of me....Tracey Stahle...Holy Cripes, I'm gonna be the first road tripper to die of mortification, right there at the Four Seasons.

To make a long story short, I had the time of my life. Cathe lead 103 women, and 2 guys for 60 minutes of bliss. Tracy was delightful in trying to talk me through the trickier moves as she pulled them off flawlessly. Noone laughed (at least that I could hear over the stepping) and I, too remember a tear spilling as it was one of the coolest things I've experienced.

LOVED the other classes too. I was much more coordinated at the PJ stretch.

I keep telling you Michele, no one will make fun of you. Promise!

I liked being near Tracey during the classes, especially if I couldn't see Cathe very well. Following Tracey is (nearly) as good as following Cathe! But no RT for Tracey this year!

But when I noticed Jai behind me for the kickbox class, I nearly fell over! I actually made her switch places so I was behind her! Then I was able to follow her...it was great!

Cedie was in front of me for the Early Bird class...that was excellent!! I could actually hear her counting!! I was so tempted to say "What number are we on, Cedie?"

Jodi, you made me laugh with that one. I can't even imagine working out with Cede or Jai in the same room also with Cathe! I have to say that I was behind Tracey Steele in '07 and when I was back to back with her (because I was on the wrong side of my step), she was very gracious and didn't take it too bad especially because I was mortified that I also nicked her ankle. She said that she had a taping coming up, and then I found out she does (AWESOME) work out videos too! I was amazed. I have to say, that being behind someone that knows the steps and cues well helps! It certainly helped me! as much noise as the Big Butt Fans make, they certainly are a LIFESAVER! Way to choose your equipment Cathe!

Sorry Tracey for spelling your last name wrong! Also, sorry you won't be there this year! No Tracey and Allison dynamic duo?!!

Tracey is very pregnant right now, and is having her baby next week! So I doubt she's going to be headed to the RT this year. But I suppose anything is possible!

Joan, I think the step choreography in 2007 was more complicated than in 2008. I also had some trouble with the new 4DS stuff. The step last year was SOOOO much fun!

Jodi,

Sorry I missed your post here--thanks so much for letting me know. Yay! I might be able to follow along better this time (no promises though :D).

I can't wait for step! Well, I'm excited about every single solitary moment of Cathe workout time, but step is just so fun.

What is the Cathe / Tracey connection? Are they friends? I mean, obviously they are, but I just wondered if there was something I was missing. :) I love Tracey- her step workouts are also so much fun. I think her daughter's name is going to be Scarlett- I read that somewhere...
