Just a heads up to let you know that we will launch our new shopping cart in a week or two. For the last decade we have used three shopping carts to handle the different products we carry on our site. We had to do this because of the different shipping rates and quantity discounts we offer for our various products. At the time there were not any Carts that could handle this many variables. Though these shopping carts have worked well for us in the past, times have changed and so has shopping cart technology.
Our new shopping cart will truly be state of the art and will offer our customers many new features, like:
#1 Search – Newcomers to our site quite often tell us that they have a problem finding a product on our site because there are just so many. Our new cart will allow you to sort the way our products are listed by title, date released, top sellers, etc.. You can also just enter part of the title and click on the search button.
#2 Wish List – You will now be able to create a wish list on our site so you can easily tell your friends and family what you would like for a gift.
#3 Gift Certificates – For the first time ever you will be able to purchase e-certificates from our site that you can instantly send to your friends. This is also a great way for your friends or family to give you a Cathe gift. We will also offer Gift cards, but they may not be quite ready when we launch the new cart.
#4 Store Your Credit Card and address info – Our new cart will make it easy for returning customers to reorder as it will keep your address and credit card info on file with your permission. Our new site is extremely secure and exceeds the latest Visa requirements.
#5 Order History – Our new cart will also keep track of all your orders and you will be able to view your order history from now on.
#6 Email a friend – You can now easily email a friend a product description and ordering link.
#7 Better Descriptions – Each DVD in our new shopping cart will contain three tabs; #1 Description, #2 Premixes and #3 Equipment needed. Since this info is located with product in the cart you will not have to go back and forth from the shopping cart to the normal website for detailed descriptions.
#8 Affiliate program - Those of you who have a fitness related website will be able to link to our site and make money on any referral you send us that makes a purchase.
#9 Faster Service – We will be able to process three to four times as many orders in a day since our new cart eliminates many steps that manually have to be done now. This will also help to reduce errors and will make it easier for customer service reps to help you.
