New Babies & Babies To Be--- Nov 15th

Susan- So glad to hear that Kara is such a great sleeper. I am hoping I get lucky this time! Baby John dropped last night. I have been so tired. I can tell my body is getting ready. I barely ran 4 miles today and I was so slow!!! Have we scared everyone off?;)

Susan, I'm so jealous of Kara's success with sleeping! I hope we can help Drew achieve better sleep. At my pediatrician's recommendation, I picked up Sleeping Through the Night yesterday. Hope it helps!

Hey everyone! this will be short cause i am typing one handed while nursing. things are going better with james. he got up every two hrs or last night to feed and then i would rock him to sleep. takes a lil bit more time but it helped him sleep.

christine- you are getting closer! cant wait to see baby john!

Good morning ladies! I've been reading your posts but haven't had too much to add. I did call to see what my levels were from my blood test on Monday and found out I had gone from 675 to 118,930. So I guess that's a pretty good increase. ;) Now, I'm just waiting it out until that Sonogram next Friday. I'm getting my H1N1 shot tomorrow, but that's about all that is going on here.

I hope Melanie and the girls are doing good! :) Will check back in later.

Almost forgot to answer the Philly question! I actually live a few hours west of Philly near Gettysburg, PA. :)

Hi ladies,

I have been reading your post from time to time and this morning I'm catching up. This has been a BUSY week for us. We are in the process of getting a lot of stuff for the house. It's exhausting. This is our 1st house and I knew we would be spending some money on appliances, blinds and stuff that you don't normally worry about when you rent but it's getting a little too much. Anyways we are really glad we got our house. Looking forward to having my mom with me, I need her support and her help too!. Baby will be with us until we start the nursery since we haven't officially moved.

All right, just 2 and a half weeks to go. I can't believe it! I'll go back on Monday for a check up and hopefully I hear some good news.

Christine, I feel the same way. I know baby has dropped down the last month as I don't feel that much pain on my ribs. Patiently waiting

Liann, that's great news!!! Just a week away from the 1st sonogram, it's such a nice feeling when you get to see the little one!

Susan, have a safe trip and I hope you get some answers on Monday

Melanie, are you and the girls getting released this week?

Allison, sounds like Drew is keeping you really busy during the night. He's getting big! Is the rice cereal helping him to sleep better?

I better get back to work, keep u all posted!

Just a quick hello....b/w feedings. We won't be leaving this week :( but hopefully we'll be home by Thanksgiving. The girls are doing quite well...but they need to be taking their entire ORALLY....and they each have NG tubes. This is mostly b/c DH & I have been discouraging formula supplementation.

We breakdown & agreed to the girls having a breastmilk bottle feeding once/daily. The girls are nursing well, but they have feeding amounts to be taken in each time and they are not strong enough to drink their entire meals orally via breast....so they are given the difference via gastric lavage.

Cue based feeding is the next step & the doctors may give the order for that to begin as early as tomorrow. Then I can breastfeed anytime they look/sound hungry....if they don't eat their goal amount in a 12 hour period, they will be given the difference via NG tube. If they are able to fullfill their goal...then they will given the green flag for the next step.

So......you have to learn the system & work it.......just like everything else. lol

Alrighty, I'm off to breastfeed/pump. Waves to all!!!!

Hey everyone! I finally feel closer to myself again! I can't wait to start working out but I will probably wait a couple more days and then start walking. I am already down 28 lbs, only 10 more to go to my pre preggo weight.

James is great! He only gets fussy when he has gas, which is alot. We give him the gas drops which seem to help but I feel so bad for him. He also just started spitting up milk too. He seems so much better when he's done. I stopped stressing about his eating/sleeping schedule and I am just going with the flow, which is more like me.

Well i was gonna do personals but my piggy baby is hungry! BBL!
