This is absolutely the BEST show ever!! I love it.
Hugh Laurie did win for this, the same time Geena Davis did. He made a funny quote in reference to the Stuart Little movie they did together.
Anyway, I love all the new students and the old ones as well. And Wilson is my fave, besides House of course. I never miss it.

Golden Globe, not Emmy
Hugh Laurie won a Golden Globe, not an Emmy. I put House right up there with Monk - wouldn't it be great to have both of them on the same show - like Monk featured on House or House on Monk.

Hugh Laurie won a Golden Globe, not an Emmy. I put House right up there with Monk - wouldn't it be great to have both of them on the same show - like Monk featured on House or House on Monk.

I am a huge House fan too. Love that man! Whew - what a hunk I like his attitude too. Love, love, love House! I don't watch Monk but have seen it. My parents are big fans...they names one of their cats after that show. His name is Monk b/c ever since they rescued him as a very sick kitten, he has been a bit obsessive compulsive about grooming himself and his brother, he is always just cotemplating, planning, and always on the go.

I just found House too since USA and FOX have been showing House Marathons. I clicked on it one day when NOTHING else was on. It's sad.....100 channels and NOTHING on. I'm so glad I watched.....I now love this show!!! It's a new fav and it's awesome that it's on all the time and I haven't seen any of them. I think I have 4 years to catch up on.

House is the most intelligent, most darkly comic program on TV. I own all 4 series on DVD so far and have watched it many times, as have all of my family members.
Hugh Laurie most definitely deserves that Emmy, he is just the best man on TV. Laurie IS House.
Did you know that Hugh Laurie auditioned to play the part of Monk? And Patrick Dempsey auditioned to be House?!?!?!? Thank heavens things turned out as they did.
Whenever I watch Hugh I have to do a double take because my 46 year old brother, also British, is a dead ringer for him.

I, too, have fallen for Dr. House and watch (or DVR) as many as I can... the first few episodes I saw were a complete turn-off as he is a.... well... let's just keep this PG rated and say a jerk... but because I generally LOVE medical shows as well as CSI, I found myself back to it over and over, and in time realized that the character sorta grows on you... granted it's sorta like a fungus, but hey... I'm HOOKED!
