I would love for Cathe to respond to this, but I welcome any and need any advice from anyone.
I'm 5"2" don't know weight(don't believe in scales)I've always been a size 4 until about 6 mo. ago. It was like I literally woke up one morning a size bigger. My entire lower body has become flabbier, lumpier and alot more cellulite. I eat clean, I do have a wheat allergy so I can't do the whole grains, but I don't eat any white stuff either. No potatoes, rice and not even the gluten free stuff, except brown rice stuff. Despite all my efforts, I cannot get this crap off. I exercise 5-6 days a week alternating cardio and weights. I would love to have Cathe's build in the hardcore series. Please any help would be greatly appreciated. Maybe my workout routine needs to change, any help on that would be appreciated too.

If you haven't changed up your routine in a while, now is a good time to do so. Rotate the same workouts for 4 weeks in a row and then change to a new set of 4.

You might also want to focus more on weight lifting and less on cardio and see how that works for you. Weight lifting can speed up the weight loss faster than cardio, but if you combine them watch the weight fall off. I would lean more to the weights than cardio for at least 3 weeks and see how that works for you.

You might have simply just got used to your routine and your body new what to expect from you and this is how it all happened. You need to keep your body guessing.

Thanks Melanie, any ideas or examples of rotations you could share with me. I have lots of dvds with the exception of the Slow & Heavy series.

another suggestion is make sure that if your working out a ton your fueling your body every 2-3 hours...or else it will go into that dreaded starvation mode....when ever I exercise more and eat less I gain weight, not lose it

Good Luck...and don't get to fustrated, you'll figure it out

Another suggestion... if you've been lifting heavy, switch it up and lift moderate weight with more reps. If you've been lifting light, go heavier. Also, for your cardio, try some HIIT (high intensity, interval type workouts). These tend to really tap into those fat stores. Remember, high intensity is relative to your individual fitness level. Many people assume they can't do HIIT, but everyone can. If walking is your normal cardio mode, alternate your normal speed with faster segments... Make sure you're drinking enough water too. Dehydration can slow down weight/fat loss.

I think if you just change up what you've been doing you'll see results. Like the op said, our bodies get used to a set routine after awhile and that's usually when the results stop. Good Luck!

I think most of us have been there. I used to be able to do anything, eat anything, and my weight stayed low. Now I have to work smarter.

Check out the rotations and advice in the [a href="http://69.0.137.118/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=7"]Rotations Forum[/a]. I'm new to rotations too, and I'm always over there reading and learning.
