I thought Bella was a lot less irritating in the movie too. I wanted to slap her silly through almost all of the books.
She's a hormonal teen girl. I frequently want to slap them I don't but,......

You get a clearer picture of this as you read, but I think Rosalie resents being a vampire. Why doesn't Rosalie like Bella?
Well I found lots of info online and it said Rosalie always wanted children. Does the book tell how Rosalie became a vampire? I mean, I know Dr. Cullen changed her but was she sick?
Ok so then that brings up this question...he's into her because he wants to EAT her. So then why does he hold back. WHY don't they....you know...do the deed? Wouldn't he no longer care about her once she's turned into a vampire? That's what gets me. Does he like her as food or as a soulmate? Why didn't he just either give in or, since the Cullen's didn't hurt people, why didn't he just stay away from her? I know he said in the movie that he didnt have the strength to do that, but I'm very "black and white" and I'm having a hard time distinguishing Bella from a food source or a girlfriend. I'm sorry to keep nagging but this is causing problems for me. Maybe he originally saw her as food but then fell in love with her????? Also, he told her ealr on that he felt very protective of her.....why was that? That would've been before they "fell in love."
UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Our neighbor's dog is named "Bella" actually. She's a sweetie.
Liann, your comment about your DH cracked me up.
Jodi, I tried reading an adult-oriented vampire novel. Now, I'm no prude. Honest. But damn...that book was waaay over the top. To the point where I found myself a touch annoyed. It was almost as if sex was THE whole point of the story. *thinks* Maybe it was, and I was too dorky to pick up on it. Oh God...was I reading porn?! (I can't remember the title.)
To be fair though, I'm really tough on authors. For example, the Twilight series is a great concept. However Meyer, in my admittedly critical opinion, is not a good writer.
Sookie Stackhouse on the other hand - I am DYING to know if she winds up with Eric - and I love Alexander Skarsgard's portrayal on True Blood.
Reena ~ Do you want Sookie w/ Eric? At first, I didn't like Eric, but he has grown on me. I ENJOY their interaction. Oh, I better stop before I give away too much info for anyone who hasn't read the books.
Okay, I'll have to check out the "Sookie" books. I don't mind a little romp here and there.
(I seriously think I mistakenly picked up soft-core porn last time. )
Yes, after reading all of the books, he definitely truly loves her....Bill is useless......I didn't care much for him either at first - but the third book is now my favorite - probably because it is Eric-centric.
What did you think of Quinn - ugh, I hated that character.
tons of romping here - don't mistake me, these books will not raise your intelligence level, but they sure are a fun read, especially after a hard Cathe workout lol
Eric definitely loves Sookie. LOL Eric-centric!! I love how he talks to Sookie now - it so unlike the Eric we met in the 1st book. I was a little frustrated with some of the books after #3 b/c they didn't have enough Eric. Gotta have my Eric fix.
Nope, not a Quinn fan. Hope he stays away. He sealed the deal in the last book as far as I'm concerned.
I am really curious how Sookie's new status with the vamps will impact her. Could be very interesting and fun!
What do you think about Jason now?
Oh dear, I didn't think there was too much. What does that say about me??? Now, the series True Blood left me a few times. Total brain candy.
.the whole Edward wants to keep Bella virtuous and he is still a virgin at 100 years old is just too much.
