My teenaged son almost died

I had to reregister to get on here, so I wonder what happened to all my previous posts.

My 19 year old son was hit by a car on May 30th, and he was rushed to the emergency room. He was in a coma for ten days, but Mommy was there when he woke up. He had a huge tube down his throat to help him breathe, (the nurses here will know what it is was.) He opened his eyes, and he tried to talk to me and when he couldn;t, tears came from his eyes. He was in the hospital since May 30th, and he just got out last week. Now his abusive father is trying to keep him from me, and my ex's cousin cursed at me and pushed me. I have a police report on that.

I am just so happy that he is okay, but he will need more rehabilition.

Now to the selfish part of me: I was doing great working out until that, and now I just started working out again. I was also on the Stress Diet, which nobody should be on. I lost 25 to 30 pounds since my son was put into the hospital.

Oh my! I'm very glad that he lived and is home. I will send prayers and healing energy so he will continue to improve! I hope you can work things out and keep your relationship with your son going!

Working out will help with your stress level! Stay with it, even if you can only do a short workout. Welcome back!

What what an ordeal you have been through. Healing prayers for you and your son and his continued recovery. Prayers to you for the whole ex-family situation, too. Welcome back. Take it slow and listen to your body and you will be back to where you were in no time.

Sooo many big hugs!

Caitlin,

So glad your son is recovering. I'm amazed you don't have a chocolate IV attached to your body, let alone that you are getting back to working out everyday. How amazing you are! Big big hugs from me, too! {{{HUGS}}}

I too am sending prayers for you and your family. I am glad to hear that your son is doing better.

Thank you so much, Karen L. Prayers are very important and I went to confession and Mass last Sunday. I did an hour workout today, forty minutes of KPC and twenty minutes of legs

My God! I'm sorry about everything that's happening to you. I'm so glad he's okay, though. Things will get better...it may be difficult to believe that, but it will all work its way out with time. : )
