My puppy needs a prayer or two......

Well, okay, not so much a puppy, but he needs a prayer or two. About a month ago he atarted coughing, a dry, nasty cough. His vet thought kennel cough, but after a round on antibiotics he did not get better, just worse. Then she thought it was Valley fever, well he tested neagative for that as well. Valley fever would at least given us something to treat. No answers yet, and all the possiblities are scaring me. He goes in tomorrow for a few more tests....we have 3 labs, he is the middle guy.....and very much a momma's doggie.......will you all cross your fingers for Bailey tomorrow????? Thanks everone,

Bailey's nervous Mom,
Donna

Fingers and toes crossed. Prayers and thoughts sent! I know what it's like, Donna. Try to stay strong...don't get yourself all worked up until you know what you are dealing with! Hopefully it won't be as bad as you are thinking!

Oh Donna, he will certainly be in our prayers! Think positive..we bought two lab puppies for Christmas last year (littermates - male and female) and within 3 days they both had Parvo...and the female Misty had it BAD...7 days in the hospital and $$$$ and they thought she would not make it...but she did! and she is as feisty as they come!

One thing to consider...they gave her Tamiflu...it was experimental on pets and she turned the corner the next day...I know it was the Tamiflu that did it...

Keep us posted...He is so beautiful!

Donna...I will definitely cross my fingers for your precious Bailey. Beside the prayers and thoughts coming your way...our animals are such a treasure...:)...Carole

Donna, I'm sending you and most of all Bailey, positive vibes. I know exactly how nervous you are right now. Looks like Bailey has a fighting chance with you as a mom.

You've got all my positive vibes and good thoughts. It's so hard when our furry kids get sick, isn't it? They can't tell us what's wrong:(

Donna,

My fingers are definitely crossed for Bailey. I wish you all luck, and I hope that they can figure out what's wrong. I have two dogs, and they are my "kids" so I definitely can relate to your anxiety!!

Peace and blessings...

Donna, sending you and Bailey lots of wishes for a quick solution and recovery...we love them so much, don't we, and would do anything not to have them suffer. Let us know how this goes! Kristen

My heart goes out to you and Bailey, Donna! My dog once developed a bad cough and lost a lot of weight. Ends up she somehow contracted some sort of fungal infection in her lungs! Very, very strange and unusual. It was treatable, but it took a while.

Oh I have a lab/rotweiller mix named Bailey who's paws are crossed that your Bailey will be all well! We both wish you and your little guy the best. :)
