My announcement

Congratulations, Nancy!!! You're going to have a blast. I think my mom enjoys being a grandmother far more than she did being a mother... ;) It's like she's found her second childhood.

Thanks everyone. DT said it makes him feel old, but my feeling is that I'd rather have a grandkid earlier than later. I like that I'm going to be a (relatively) young, spry, healthy grandma! And yes, tneah, this is going to be one very well-dressed kid. ;)

Hey, I wonder if being a grandma means I'm going to have to start acting like a grown-up?? :eek: Nah, I think I'll leave that to the parents. Shannon, I don't even need a second childhood. I'm still on my first!

Thanks, Jacque. The baby is expected to here in December. DIL is doing well except for a bit of morning sickness.

"If I had known my grandkids were going to be this much fun, I would've had them first!" :+

Warning, avoid all baby clothes departments, or you will not be able to stop yourself from buying something every time!
