So Yesturday I could not fix the training Wheels on my 3 year olds bike ,So I took them off . I then Ran back and forth with him for like 10 minutes .He did it !!!! Hes riding all over the place !!! By the time we were done on the "Bike Path" He was doing it without a push !!! Yeeee Haaaa ... This opens new doors for us !!! Like me roller blading while he rides his bike !!!! ... I'm so excited !!!:) :) :) :) :)

That's awesome! My daughter just learned last year to ride without her training wheels (she was 6) and it does open up a whole new world of options!

Holy smokes that's great!! Three years old. I've GOT to get my five year old out there and ride his. He's too big for me to push in the stoller when jogging.

No kidding!! At three? You've made me think that maybe I should be taking the training wheels off my almost-five year old's bike, and seeing if she can learn to balance.

Give your son a high-five from your friends at Cathe! He did a great job!

That is great!! My three year old is no where close to riding a bike without training wheels. We had a hard time with our now 8 year old. He is scared to death to go very fast at all. I think he rides with the break on!

I have found with our older two boys that is was easlier for them to learn to ride without training wheels when we took off the pedals too. They pushed themselves around with there feet for a day or two and then we put the pedals back on and away they went.

I remember when my daughter first rode her two wheeler 23 years ago. It was a great bonding moment for us.

Congratulations!

Good for him!! 3 is pretty early for no traning wheels. My 9 1/2 year old daughter absolutely refuses to learn to ride a bike!! I haven't a clue why, but it seems unnatural to me to not be able to ride a bike. :)

I don't think it's fear because she scooters and rollerblades. It's just hard because we can't bike together as a family. :(
