Most Unfavourite Move ....

I am wondering what everyone's most unfavourite move in the Cathe workouts is ...

Mine is the "over with a clap" ... I don't know why; it's not hard or complicated or anything, but I just go "ugh" everytime she says it ... its weird!

What other moves do people like less than others (I didn't want to say "not like" because I honestly love the workouts and realize that each element is an important part of the total body workout).

I'm also not particularly fond of the power scissors ....

Heel Tucks in KickMax blast challenge do not work for me and my long legs. Regular tuck jumps not so bad but nothing like Cathe's and her jet powered tucks!

Terminator thrust climbers to tempo, I can do them slower (but it ain't pretty).

Slow 'v' in StepWorks cool down, I'm sorry but, no...I don't want to 'get funky':+

I'm sure there's more........

Rebounds in Imax and Imax-2. I don't know why but I can never get the timing right and it never feels natural to me.
 
Pump repeaters. When Cathe says they "look pretty" I completely disagree! They don't seem to be effective for anything either. I try to find a substitute...'cuz I hate 'em!

I also dislike ricochets from more of a safety standpoint. I don't like going over the step at 180 degrees so quickly. But I've found my own little substitute for them, so I don't mind if they're in a workout anymore. I just never do them!

I also hate those flying angels. I just did IMAX 2 and they are in the warmup. Cathe says, "you haven't seen these in a while" and I say back "let's keep it that way!".

My most hated move is the hammer punch into a drop lunge followed by a knee smash. She's seems to love that move and she's incorporated various versions of it in quite a few of her more recent workouts!x(

I also don't like flying jacks, and that move where you leap to the side and land on one leg.

There's some stepping moves I can't stand, but they escape me at the moment...
 
Kathryn, I am with you on the pump repeaters. I feel like I'm in a really bad disco movie when I do those. :p :7

It's the ham string move in IMAX 3 where you do a hamstring on the step, then on the floor, one to the back, and one to the front. I feel like a frog or something and wind up about 2' away from the step for the next round! I know I look like such a dork doing those.:p

A no brainer for me here - I DREAD Terminator Thrust Climbers! I am gasping for air by the time she does the second set in BootCamp. I can't believe Cathe can even talk during these, since I'm about ready to pass out!
 
Scoops, scoots, mambo-cha-chas and ponies ("NOT A PONY PERSON!!!"). I always feel like such a gomer when I do those. I substitute power scissors or plie jacks always.

The sashays at the start of the step routine in MIC. I HATE them, hate them, hate them! And she does so bloomin' many of them! Ugh!

I'm getting tired of airborn jacks, tuck jumps, and airborn jumps, just because she has them in so many of her recent workouts.

The "party arms" she does with the ponies at the start of PowerMax (not too keen on the ponies, either).

The double ricohets in 10*10*10.

One-legged hop turns, which she used very frequently in her earlier step routines.

Turning power squats (CW, IMAX2, IMAX3).

I also hate the Sashays. I have for a long time. I usually do power 7s or whatever number I need. I don't do the peg-leg pivot turns either. I'm always afraid I might twist & sprain my knee, so I leave the turn out & just do the peg leg.
