Susan- sound slike you have so much snow and ice! I want to come to your house for soup!
Yes, we got the run in this morning. Good thing, looks like more rain tomorrow. I ordered the rain cover for the bouble jogger, so nothing can hold me back now! Went to a park near SF and played instead of the pool. Does not look like Jimmy will nap, although John is down now. So much for grown up time. Off to straighten up the house while they play outside, and try to relax amongst a home that looks like a preschool. daycare with crap everywhere. I cannot wait till they get older and our house looks clean.
 
Hey ladies! Got in a run this AM in the new shoes! Felt great! Like running on air! Was hoping to get a UB weight w/o in this afternoon when my dad came by but we ended up visiting instead. It's rainy and cloudy here so I have hung out w J in my pjs.

Susan- Can you post the recipe for the broc chz soup please? That is one of my fav soups! So happy to hear you got 9 hrs! I hope J does that this coming week. Dh goes back to work so a couple nights a week, its just me.

Christine- Yay for the run! Sorry to hear you don't get your adult time and the beer. Hopefully again soon!

Hi gals. This day has really flew by!

Justin had basketball this AM, so that took 2 hrs off the AM.

I started my 1/2 marathon training today. It's kinda nice b/c at the beginning the training is actually "lighter" than what I have been doing. Today was just a 3 mile run. I'm too embarrassed to post my time, but it didn't take as long as my 6 mile runs I have been doing. I had to order a new pair of running shoes b/c I remembered that I used my last pair for the 1/2 marathon I was going to do in the Spring (b4 I got pg)....plus this postpartum period.....it has well over 500 miles on them. This might be why my joints/knees have been bugging me. URGH. Running shoes are so spendy!!!

Anywho, with the 'lighter' workout schedule i'll be able to spend more time with wee-ones which is what i want to do b4 i go back to work anyways.

Last week i ended up 4lbs lighter. Yahoo. My twin-friend (who also has 5 kids) has just as much weight to lose as I do & she doesn't workout AND she eats like crap.:mad::mad: Life is so unfair! lol

Menu:
1/B: Vitamuffin & coffee
S: 1/4 of a Belgium Waffle
3/L: turkey wrapped in romaine lettuce w/cheese & horseradish
1/S: cashews & diet pop
7/D: protein smoothie (milk, blueberries, orange juice, spinich, vanilla pp, ice cubes, low fat yogurt) + egg salad on ww low carb tortilla
2/S: 2 eggs, meatloaf, milk

Total: 14 powerfoods
