"MELTING" on Hump DAy!

I want to go on vacation for TEN days!! No fair, Shell! Got any super duper fun plans?

I'm bored. Really bored. It's almost lunch time and I'm starving. I'm about to take a chunk out of my arm I'm so hungry. Of course I have snacks in my desk drawer but I'm determined to make it another 20 minutes before I eat. I'm psycho like that.

Shannon--your fruit feast sounds so good! I'm drooling over here....

Tneah--All this boat talk is making me so jealous! How cool it would be to live on one! I think I mentioned this before but my exSO had a 35 foot Viking and it had a great little kitchen, bathroom, shower, living area and bed. But as you can imagine, it was a little cramped. The boats you're talking about (125 FEET?!?!?!) sound so spectacular!! You can bet my a$$ will be flying on over to SD to visit once you're on that thing. ;)

Shelley--yay for butt doms! I love those! I'm hoping for some good ones from my leg w/o this morning.

Lainie--you and your Target. I love it! You're hysterical.

BG--I'm sorry you're so tired and busy. Nothing's worse than being overworked and exhausted. I'm never really overworked (as you can tell from my boredom...) but I'm more often than not tired beyond belief.

I'll be back a little later!

Morning, ladies!

I'm getting a late start today. I got up early, but have been doing small things around the house until now. I'm thinking about what Shelley and Tneah said about how the relaxing and accepting ourselves thing ain't gonna happen, and I feel that way, too. Sigh.

I got really lousy sleep last night; I think I'm stressed about BIL and the RT. My body is also all out of whack right now. Ug!

Kristi -- Your new avatar with Cathe is adorable, and I love the pink top!!! And thanks for letting us know about the collection for gifts. We've missed you, but don't worry about being so busy! Hope you have a fabulous time today with the family. What a wonderful gift for your father! I'm sure he'll always treasure it!

Tneah -- No, I really do have mangy mutt hair, but figure that I should not go in before the RT if I really want to grow it out a bit. Maybe I should try Georgie's groomer here in SD for a trim?:p Sorry that your houseguest is such a pain! How cute, though, that he looks up to Mitch so much! Oh, I should pop over there and do Drill Max with you! You know it's one of my favorites! We could hop around together and swing our balls like madwomen! Wouldn't that be fun?! I'm keeping everything crossed that it works out with the boat. Keep us posted when you hear something today, OK?

Deb -- So sorry to hear about your co-worker! What happened? I think it was a 5.4 earthquake yesterday. It messed up the phone lines for awhile, but wasn't too bad; I don't think that there was any serious damage anywhere. I always use water for oatmeal and just follow the exact measurements on the back of the package. Adding the protein powder does make it thick, but I like it that way.

Lainie -- That new Nike outfit is adorable! You'll look so cute in it! I'm also thinking that I should pick up a few sports bras since I'm not sure if I have enough to get me through the weekend! I really hope that you're doing better today. You look wonderful, babe! We've seen that photo of you in that sexay new halter, and you look fit and trim!!! You do, you do!!

Peggie -- How was your date with Coach Sean last night? ;) I hope you like the oatmeal once you get it! That's so great that you can take your lunch at a flexible time. I wish I could do something like that! Most days, I have about five minutes to scarf down my lunch, and usually I always have some student pounding on my closed door, even though my office hours haven't started yet. OK, so I really, really want Lauren's video still!:p

Shelley -- Woo hoo about your vacation!! I didn't know you had that coming up!! Are you going to be able to do anything? Even getting away for just a couple of days might be just what you need to unwind a bit!

Robin -- I always look to you as a voice of reason. You've found such a happy balance and have learned moderation so well. I wish you could teach it to me! By the way, you really do look absolutely gorgeous in all the RT photos! How great that your camera is still under warranty. Isn't the NROL good? I should pull my copy out again and re-skim it. My favorite protein powders are the BSN Lean Dessert ones. I think the cheapest place to get them is at Vitacost: http://www.vitacost.com/productResults.aspx?Ntk=products&x=9&ss=1&y=4&Ntt=lean%20dessert

Allie -- Glad that you're feeling better! Sounds like ice cream with The Boy really helped last night. Hmm . . . did anything else help, too? ;) Have a little snack, babe, before you chew your arm off. You're so tiny that you can't afford to lose any weight!

Shannon -- I'm crossing all my fingers and toes for this new position! Sounds exciting! That fruit sounds heavenly!

Breckie -- Sorry that work was so stressful and busy yesterday! We missed you! Yes, those tornadoes are esp. scary! Not fun at all!

Kara -- Do you have a busy day again today? How is all the house stuff coming along? Did you see what Kristi posted about the collection for gifts? We're getting close!

Why are we so far down the page???

Oh today just needs to be OVER!

Leanne - we won't be getting away anywhere. We can't because 1. we have no money and 2. we don't have anyone to look after the dogs. We're going to do some day trips though. To the beach, and an Amish town near us that has a fabulous farmer's market, etc.

Allie - I'm just LOL at you seeing the glass half-empty, etc. I think that's the understatement of the year, darlin'! But you're adorable and we love you, so it doesn't matter ;)

Tneah - what is Xanax? I'm trying to picture you as a nun and it's just not working. But you do have a heart of gold, that's for sure:D

BG - well, I don't know about working out with my tummy being as it is is as much a feat as it is stupid, but there ya go. How's the lead outfit treating you today?

Hey melties! How's it hangin'? I just wanted to let y'all know that I am alive and kickin'. I am in the throws of an annoying house project that is due to our *(&%^(*&%^( cat. Let's just say that she has issues using her litter box. It is so not fun.

I am sending you many hugs and kishies though!

Kara, ooh yukky cat-poo problems!

Allison, pessimistic or not, you are a doll-face:)

Shelley, yeah, that was the other thing...the nun outfit wasn't so nice.;)Oh, Xanax is a little pill to relieve panic attacks, it relaxes your nervous system.

Leanne, do I detect a down mood darlin? Ah, c'mon, you look amazing and will have so much fun at the RT. Trips are always so stressful, then once you get there? You forget all about your body and clothing worries!:DAnd I would love for you to join me in Drillmax, I did that one this morning and forgot how tough it can be...in a good way of course, but I hate drill 3 and 5. Blech.

Just wanted to check in, need to go run about town in the loverly heat...DH is off to SLC and I want to avoid seeing the housekeepers so will stay aways for a minute.

Hey ladies,

Today I ended up doing my Dove's workout #4, which was fun. I think it was my favorite of the four b/c it seemed to be the hardest. I've now done each of them, and like them a lot. They're nowhere near the intensity of Cathe's workouts, but I've been using them as a nice change of pace before we get STS. I think I'm actually going to get off my lazy arse and go do some yoga this afternoon. (Tneah, babe, I'm looking at you . . . . Wanna go do some yoga with me??)

Shelley -- I think my favorite vacations are honestly the ones that involve not actually going anywhere. It's just so nice to relax! The day trips you have planned sound perfect! You'll still be checking in with us, right??? We'd have to come force you to if you didn't!!

Kara -- Cat problems, huh? Doesn't sound like a good thing! Sending hugs and kishies back at ya'!

Allison -- You're not pessimistic, babe! You've just been having a rough patch.

Tneah -- I love your new quote! Mother Teresa is actually one of the people I most admire in the world, and it's funny b/c I was thinking of trying to find a quote from her to use, too. LOL about the nun thing! When I was young, I wanted to be a nun, too, and once drank a bottle of my grandma's holy water from Italy so I could be more holy, which, fortunately, she and my mom just laughed about. I tell my students this funny story: When I took a career test as an 18-year-old freshperson in college, it spit out a list of the top 10 jobs I'd love doing. The only two that I still remember are the two that seemed totally ridiculous at the time: priest and teacher. I'm so shy that I never imagined I could ever, EVER get up in front of a room full of students, and the priest thing was obviously all wrong in terms of gender. I could totally see you as a nun -- you have a heart of gold, sweetie! But good thing you didn't become a nun because that wig wouldn't get a lot of use! ;) I'm going to head over there and kick those housekeepers for you! Kick, kick!

Sorry for taking so long to come back (I know you were all just dying of suspense to hear about my Target trip). I realized maybe I’m going a tad too often when the checkout lady (who always recognizes us now) said “Do you realize you go shopping almost every single day?” Of course, we don’t go shopping (even at Target) quite that often, but if it seems that often to her, then it’s probably a bit much. Hmm. My excuse right now is that I’m preparing for the RT. I wonder what my excuse will be post-RT. Oh yeah—preparing for school to start again.

So we did our Target run—nothing major just lots of little stuff. Then since coming home I did 4DS KB, more laundry (man, wish I could take a day off from that), and what else? Must have been something to keep me busy all day. No idea, but I felt busy. Now I’m writing this while straightening my hair dry (I have a special hair straightener that dries wet hair). By that I mean I’m taking brief breaks between locks of hair to come over here by the fan and type a bit. Now I remember why I have just been letting my crazy hair dry naturally all summer. This is too bl**dy hot! Plus I’ll never get it as smooth as I can in less humid seasons. Ugh.

Thank you all for your kind words and advice re: being a fattie at the RT. I know all those things in my head but it’s hard to convince my emotions of it.

OMG, have I mentioned today how adorable my little boys are? I just looked over at Ewan and thought he is so freakin’ cute! Here he is with his Curious George (they made a diaper for George but it looks more like a thong or something).

IMG_0158.jpg

Allie, so glad you are feeling better! Ice cream really does make everything better, doesn’t it? (except maybe for the waist line)

Robin, oops we’re off schedule today since you did LIS and I did KB. Will you be doing BC tomorrow? That’s what I have scheduled. Okay, I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve never used protein powder, though I happen to have a huge container of it left over from my brief BFL fling. It’s EAS 100% Whey Protein—chocolate flavor. I just found it in the basement yesterday and brought it upstairs but don’t know what to do with it. Yep, just checked and it’s still sealed so it hasn’t been used at all.

Deb, good plan. I do often weigh in the nude first thing in the morning, but yesterday’s weigh-in was actually later in the day.

Shelley, ooh, big time off coming—hope that helps lower your stress level!

Ahh, finally finished drying my hair and it doesn’t look too bad. Whew. At least I didn’t waste my time. It helps that I colored my roots a couple days ago.

Peggie, what is the Lauren KB workout?

Shannon, good luck with that job opportunity!

Kristi, hope you get a breather soon. I relate to the being busier in the summer than during the school year. In my case it’s just that I don’t get my couple of hours completely free 3 mornings a week so it’s hard to do anything by myself—and everything takes longer with two little boys around (esp. when one is being potty trained).

Tneah, luckily DH got over being grumpy before bedtime (I just had to talk to him sweetly and rub his feet—I know he has me trained rather than vice versa—probably I should not be nice unless he’s nice first so that he’ll always be nice or something—I’m no good at maintaining the upper hand). Oh, and I love your Mother Teresa quote (though, like Shelley, can’t imagine you as a nun). Good luck with the boat!

Breckie, yep, I LOVE the Zepp. When I was trying to decide on a ring tone, I knew I wanted something loud and rocking, and immediately thought I should start by searching for some Led Z. songs. The ankles are okay now. They felt better by yesterday. I need to get out my Bosu again and start balancing on one leg to strengthen my ankles (I had to go through physical therapy for my right ankle earlier in the year, then sprained the left ankle but didn’t get therapy for that one).

Leanne, “fit and trim”? ***Snort***—not quite, but thanks. Well, in my church women can become priests (Episcopal) and I’ve thought about it—I’d have to wait until the boys are older, though, I think. Here are my latest “what I want to be when I grow up” ideas (from the past year or so): priest, optometrist, web designer, blogger, boutique owner. Hmm, maybe I’m not ready to grow up yet.

Kara, yikes about the cat issues and good luck with that!

OK, gotta make something for dinner now....

Hey kittens

Just back from lunch with Coach Sean. I had supper with him last night too. Volume 3. I really like that one. Deb you should buy them now with his sale. buy 3 and they are $6.95 each. When I bought them I think they were $14.95 or something like that.

Lauren's KB routine is GREAT. www.ontheedgefitness.com It is hard and keeps our heart rate up. Many times during the workout my heart rate is 90 percent of max. Fu*#, I just forgot what I was going to say. Oh, seriously, I can tell a big difference in my stomach and waist after doing this workout only 3 or 4 times so far. To me, it is hard. Deb, I hope you like it. I will feel like a piece of sh*# if you guys don't like it, after I played it up so much.

I was telling the gym owner today when I was having lunch with Coach Sean about my RT next week. He wants me to make sure I get a picture of me with Cathe so that he can hang it up in the gym. They always have her FitTv show on at the gym on one of the big screens. How cool is that?

Tneah - THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! YOU ARE ONE SWEET WOMAN, even though you aren't a nun. Hope you get the new boat.

Leanne - Hey sweetie. I am getting so excited for the RT. I can hardly stand it. I am getting a little nervous too. I'm glad you were safe after the earthquake. I am very lucky at work. Our boss is in Rapid City, three hours away, and our big bosses are in Minneapolis, 7 hours away. We are a very busy office and carry our division with stats, but they are pretty good to us.

Lainie - I want a Target. You are going to look so pretty at the RT. Can't wait to meet you.

Kara - We have two cats and luckily they have never gone anywhere but the litter box

Kristi - Have a safe trip.

Hey Shelley and Robin and Allison.

Hope I didn't miss anyone. Sorry if I did.

Off to find something to eat, Coach Sean really wore me out. Hee, hee, hee.

Hey ladies!

Well, I did a "quickie" with Eion Finn this afternoon. Hey, that's not me -- it's what he really calls one workout on his yoga DVD! Get your minds out of the gutter, ladies! ;) Actually, it's more fun when we keep them in there!

It's quiet around here this afternoon after a busy morning!

Tneah -- Any news about the new boat yet??

Lainie -- OMG! That picture of Ewan is so dang adorable! How hysterical, too, that the boys' homemade diaper looks like a thong! Now listen up, chica: you ARE fit and trim! You've also been doing so well with the heavy weights that you could be putting on some muscle. I think you look gorgeous and hawt, and we are going to have so much fun hanging out next weekend! Your posts are always so much fun to read! Hey, there will always be something fun to buy at Target, right?! ;) That would be so cool if you decided to become a priest. Of course, all those other options sound like fun, too! Life's too short to grow up too soon!

Peggie -- OK, OK, I really do need to order Lauren's DVD. After all, I did just get paid today and, during the two months of summer, we get a little extra money since we don't pay into the CA state teachers' retirement account . . . . See how I just talked myself into ordering it?! How often have you been doing the KB workouts? A few times a week? I've only been doing them once a week so far; I was going to add in 15 minutes after my Dove workout today, but decided to do some yoga later on. That is soooo cool about how your gym owner wanting to put up a picture of you and Cathe! I know -- I'm getting soooo excited!

You all are hilarious!:D

Leanne, cool, you love Mother T too! I love your new quote, so inspiring and uplifting! I loved your story about the holy water!:D

Pegsters, you are a scream! You post like you talk I just know it, I love your potty mouth, cause shhh....I have one too...yet one more reason the nun thing may not have panned out too well.

Lainie, LOL!! I love Curious Georgie's "diaper/thong" and yes, your kids are the cutest kids ever! And you are a dork, never weigh yourself in the middle of the day, whatta ya kidding me? So sweet you rub DH's feet, mine will not let me go near his, he is weird about his feet. He wears socks constantly unless he is showering, yes, even to bed, and no, there isn't any gross fungus happening, he is just weird about his feet.:p Kashmir just happens to be one of my fave Zeppelin songs!

Oh I just checked out all the road trip pictures the coordinators took, so awesome. Cathe is so cute with her shorts, I wonder if she wore them because I remember someone commenting on why she never shows her legs in the videos anymore? You go with your beautiful legs Miss Cathe. I thought all the girls looked so dang tiny! Cedie looks super thin, they all do! I would feel positively "heiferish" posing next to them!

OK, NO, I will not do yoga *stamps foot* sorry Leanne, I know, I know, I really need to don't I ? I thought I might walk a bit tonight, kinda the same thing right? Relaxing, letting the mind go, etc....

Hey guys

Leanne - This is the first week that I have three KB workouts scheduled. Two down, one to go. Last week I did two. I'm serious, I can tell a big difference. DH said so too, although he has never ever made one negative comment about my body to me. He is the sweetest thing ever. He is so good about that.
BUY THE DVD. I think you will really like it.

Hey, what is the name of the sand dude one. I need to put that one on my list. My Newport one was shipped, so I should get it in a few days.

Tneath - I agree. You got me pegged. Thanks again for the stuff.

Tneah --I know -- Cathe looks soooo good in her shorts! The rest of the girls look amazing, too! And you certainly are not a heifer, lady! My goodness! You are in SUCH incredible shape!

Peggsters -- Hey, kitten! Your hubby sounds like such a sweetie! Here's the link to Mr. Sand Dude's video:

http://www.dragondoor.com/dv052.html

It really is awesome!! Ask Tneah and Kara, and they'll tell you, too, that you need to order it! I was snooping around on-line, trying to really talk myself into getting Lauren's DVD, and I came across this article she wrote on KB training:

http://www.dragondoor.com/articler/mode3/364/

Her article and your comments about the differences you are noticing make me think that maybe I'll do a KB-only rotation after the RT. I'd been thinking about it, and this may push me over the edge . . . .;)

OK all you enablers. I will not buy any more workouts. At least not until the Niagra Falls GTG is paid for.

Peggie, that is so cool about the gym owner wanting your picture with Cathe. Isn't it nice to know someone who knows who Cathe is?

Leanne, sounds like you were a little bit more upbeat after you workout. Sweating helps, doesn't it?

Tneah, any news about the boat?

Shelley, have a wonderful vacation. I can't stay home and relax. There is always something that needs to be done and I hate wasting vacation time on chores.

Kara, when you are done with your kitty clean up project, come to my house. It's disgusting. DH is supposed to be replacing the carpet and painting this summer. He was supposed to do it last summer. And the summer before last...

I'm sorry to poop out before personals to everyone, but I'm exhausted. I had a rotten day at work. Then I had to spend an hour on the computer with someone in India fixing my email. I did manage to get to LIS. See you all tomorrow...

Kara – sorry about the kitty thing. We had a kitty a few years back. His name was Koshka. He was a brat, but we loved him dearly. We got him, because Russian Blues were supposed to be fairly independent and low maintenance. HA! He was so needy and an attention-slut. Once, we left him alone for a long weekend. He locked himself in one of our jack-and-jill bathrooms (he was playing with the toilet paper). Luckily our friend who was checking on him, rescued him. So the next long weekend we left, we shut some of the doors of the rooms we didn’t want him in. Well, that pi$$ed him off. He took little “treasures” from the litter box, and swatted them under all the doors we shut. Like, “OH YEAH? YOU DON’T WANT ME IN HERE? Well… I’ll fix that.”

Leanne – THAT’S IT. I’m coming over there, and dragging BIL out by his ear (if he’s lucky, it will be his ear). I’m so frustrated with his sorry butt right now, and HATE that he’s causing you so much anxiety. *tosses Leanne an entire bottle of Xanax* I’m going to kick his a$$ all by myself. Actually, if you can play the soundtrack to KPC, it’d fire me up even more, and I could JAB-CROSS-HOOK-UPPER-POP-POP and DUCK his lazy moochin butt all over San Diego.
Whew.
Sorry – I feel better. I had to LOL at you talking about Drill Max (which I love, too) saying you and Tneah could swing your balls everywhere. I’m sick. Sick I say.

Ooooh Shannon – I hope this potential job works out for you! How was CC8? (as if I have to ask)

Oh Lainie. I hate that you’re feeling so down about yourself. I know there’s nothing really I can say to convince you otherwise, but I wish you could see yourself the way we see you. LMfreakinAO about the pic of Curious George. Suppose he’s curious why he’s wearing a purple thong?

Shelleydear – 10 whole days? Oh, I hope you can find some settle-down time, and some relaxation. If I lived closer, I’d whisk you away to a little lunch spot where we could chat and chat and chat for hours. Then we could do shots. HA – just kidding. This girl doesn’t do shots. ONE SINGLE tequila shot about 10 years ago sealed that deal. NEVER again. N-E-V-E-R. The lead outfit got coated in barium today when a little fellow spat at me. HA! Deflection by lead! TAKE THAT!

PeggieKitten – WTG on your date with Sean! You sound like so much fun – wish you lived around the corner from me. I bet you’re even more of a riot in person! Goodness gracious woman, I want that KB workout now. Sheesh. You should get royalties.

Kristi – what a wonderful gift for your dad! I know he will be deeply touched. We’ll miss you, but we understand why you’re not around!

Tneah – how was Drill Max? I love that workout so much. I love your quote. I think I should probably change mine – too sarcastic. I should really be more inspirational – though I’m not feeling so inspirational these days. I’ve sent you an email. I don’t do yoga either. I WANT to WANT to do yoga, if that makes any sense. I can do Pilates (in a class, not by myself), but not yoga. I wish I could. Or do I? What’s the word on the boat????

Hmmm… Allie – your leg workout gave ME DOMS, and I’m just sitting on my arse!

Robin – sorry your day at work was poopie. Tomorrow is another day. Hope you get some great rest tonight with no crying babies!

LADIES – my hair is falling out. We’re talking in GIANT clumps. My thyroid is fine. Could it be stress? Other hormones? UGH. It’s not like balding me or anything, but it’s not just a little bit. I’m trying not to exaggerate, but it’s a significant amount of hair coming out every day. On a positive spin, I’m having my hair cut tomorrow by one of the guys on Shear Genius!! I haven’t watched that show, but my friend begged me to watch this season with her. I tivo’d it, and got a wild hair (obviously one that didn’t fall out) and did a little research. One of the dudes is RIGHT near me! So I called him up and got an appointment! He can’t color me now (CRAP), but he can cut. We’ll see what happens! My hair is almost bra-strap level right now, and I doubt he’s going to let me keep it that way. I don’t really care – it’s just hair. I’ve always sat down in the chair and said, “no soccer mom look – that’s all I ask- otherwise, have fun.” (this statement was in no way a negative reflection on soccer moms, and no soccer moms were hurt in the formulation of this idea)

Okay, novel over.
The End. (she bows)

BG, *gasps for breath* stop, stop! You make me laugh so hard! You are such fun, glad you stopped by for a spell. OK, the hair thing. Interesting, shee-ot, I have NO idea, other than the thyroid thing why on earth you would be shedding? Do you have alot of hair? From your pic it looks like you do, very beautiful! If I was losing hair you would have to commit me, I have baby fine, thin hair that grows to my barely my shoulders than refuses to budge. I used to have extensions for years and years but that got old and expensive. At some point one has to come to terms with what the good lord gives you and be done with it. OMG!! I am watching Shear Genius! So totally cool you are getting your hair done by a contestant! They should seriously consider putting you on the show as a client, you would have them all rolling. Oh this is pretty cool. Christophe? The Christophe, as in salon Christophe? Well I get my hair done at the one in Vegas, and I met him and his wife a few months back. He is a fan of our products, so I sent him some! Cool huh?
He does kinda resemble Maurice Gibb of the Bee Gee's, circa 1979 though.:p

Leanne, "quickies" are my favorites actually....;)

Well no news on the boat yet, they are still haggling over a bunch of money of course...we should know something tomorrow for sure.

Can someone tell me why I gleefully purchased Goldfish crackers today???:eek:Without one thought as to how junky they are, or how I love them and can power through a bag in days??? Sheesh, I think I might be losing my clean eating mojo...The good news is I really only did eat a handful...really, I swear it!:pI love those little suckers, the baby ones are especially fun to eat...going to go spray tan on myself...hey, do you all think Cathe uses a tanning bed or suns herself? Or is that spray on? What about Cedie? She looks authentically tanned I think, Jai is naturally dark, and Brenda is natural, pretty, pretty skin she has. I was just curious about it...

OK, so I did it. At DH's urging, I just ordered the Lauren kettlebell DVD. Now I really cannot be enabled any more, OK, ladies? REALLY.

Breckie -- You are just hysterical! Your posts are so fun to read! I love your soccer mom disclaimer! Too funny! So you should take some before and after photos of your hair. Speaking of which, I'm really, really worried that you're losing so much. That does not sound good at all. Can I make you march right in to see your Dr., young lady? I'm serious; this is worrisome!

Robin -- You're right -- I did feel so much better and less down after my workout! Sorry that work was so awful! :(

Tneah -- Sorry that there's been no news yet about the boat! And what's up with those goldfish crackers? Maybe you just needed the carbs, lady! LOL about the quickies! And I was wondering the same thing about Cathe's tan . . . she's so dark and it looks so real!

OK, off to talk DH into watching an X-Files episode . . . and I know that there will be some kettle korn involved!

Tneah - Sorry. maybe one of these fu*#in days I will quit spelling your name wrong. I always put that stupid t in there at the end someplace. SORRY.

Breckie - You crack me up. Tequila, mmmmm. Not so much anymore. In fact, hardly ever. Almost makes me puke thinking about it. So I should rephrase-- tequila, mmmm not so good anymore.

Hey Leanne - we were posting at the same time. I am so glad you ordered Lauren's DVD. I think you will really like it. Be prepared to sweat like a pig.

BG, I just consulted my "Prescription for Nutritional Healing" book concerning hair loss. It seems we can rule out thyroid, menopause, exposure to radiation(?) However, there are other causes such as lack of certain vitamins, stress, lack of iron, fungal infections and hair dyes...oh, and one more lovely. It seems as we age all of us house "mites" in our scalps! Makes me want to go shampoo with gasoline quite frankly, but it seems most of us are immune to these minute critters, and they do not cause us any hairy type distress. In others it seems, these mites wreak havoc on our follicles causing hair loss, they cause our inflammatory responses to kick into high gear, killing the mites, plus our precious hair! Eek! So here is a list of vitamins to consider, they will help on the hair front.

1. essential fatty acids
2.B-complex
3. raw thymus glandular--I know, WTH???
4.Ultra Hair from Nature's Plus vitamins
5.vitamin C
6.vitamin E
7.zinc
8. biotin-I take this everyday and my nails at least are growing like freakin weeds
9. Rubbing tea tree oil into the scalp helps control the mite population, thus helping and reducing shedding--I know, another eeek!
10. Never take large doses of vitamin A as this will cause hair loss
So that is it in a nutshell.

But I would ask your doctor whats up???
