Lurker's Invitation October Check In

Deborah, you CathCoach you, I'm leaving my bosu out like you, now I can use it anytime. I saw a youtub about giving cats diabetic shots. It was a really cute eye opener. I don't think it will be a big deal, especially after I got a lot of information over the internet. We'll see.

So pleased to hear that Huzzah's (LOL) cast is off, and no surgery. YES.

Planted 17,257, that's insane! Oh, I've got to see pictures this coming Spring. I bet the view is amazing! You poor thing, 2,000 left. Oh dear. By the way, your husband is very wise not saying anthing.;)

The vet just called me, I'm off to get Winkled weighed and get his meds and syringes. I guess he can still eat the same food, just not so much of it.

Will finish posting to everyone later after everything has calmed down.

Janie

Late post for me today--didn't have time this morning and I've been at Quantico in meetings all day. This morning I did Kick, Punch, and Crunch. My back is feeling great--the groin was a little tender this morning so I went easy on all those squats in KPC, but right now it's feeling good. I used my weighted gloves on the second half and that really kicks up the sweat factor. Tomorrow is GS Chest and Triceps so the legs will get a good break.

DH harvested about half of his basil today. We have a tub full a basil in the kitchen. Good thing I like the smell of basil. He makes the best basil pesto. Freezes quite a bit--just doesn't put in the parmesano-regiano until he uses it. Yummy.

Shadowpup: by the time you get done, that will be about 20,000 bulbs. I've got to tell my mother about this. She has the green thumb in the family--she is going to be amazed. More horse stories please. I love when you tell us about the kids.

Janie: I think I've missed something and I went back to read the threads but still can't find it: one of your pets has diabetes? If so, my sister can relate. She had a cat that was diabetic and she did insulin check and shot routine for quite a few years.

You gals that don't have Power Hour are missing a great workout. That dvd also has Maximum Intensity Strength and the original body max. How can you live without those?
~michelle

Shoegal, Amy is difficult, and once you master her moves, the workouts are fun. Oh, but sweaty. Good for you.
Step Heat isn't intense as Amy, but enjoyed the workout none the less. You will love Christy Taylor. Her cuing is the best in the world. You will always be able to do her workouts. They are not easy by any means, just great cuing.
Winkle gives you back a hug. I'll be giving him his first shot tonight. It's suppose to be very easy, and they don't feel any pain what so ever. That's the good part. Yes, you would be able to give shots, if you had to.

Michelle, KP&C is a great workout, good for you. Enjoy GS Chest and Triceps tomorrow.
I love making fresh pesto using our home grown basil. It makes a red sauce out of this world. Of course, I prepare it with lots less fat. I put in lemon to preserve the color. Turns out great! That also makes it tastier, and I do put in the Parmesan and freeze it in ice cube trays. When I use it, I put in about 2 or three at a time, depending how large the recipe is.
Our Winkle is diabetic and will give him his first shot tonight. He needs two a day. Will let everyone know later, how it goes. They are not suppose to feel anything.

Hope I posted for everyone, a little dazed today.

See ya all tomorrow.

Jane

so did my pilates class this morning at the Studio Darshan, had two newbies and they gave me some wonderful feedback at the end of class, which was really nice. I taught Ski Conditioning tonight with plyo intervals with upper body circuits in between the plyo. A tall, skinny young guy came into the class about 5 minutes late. I am always excited and a little nervous when men come to my classes. So I was wondering how he would do and about 15 minutes into it he was dying! He couldn't even finish the 30 second intervals of plyo! Cha Ching!:eek: He really liked it though so hopefully he will come back again next week. This class will only run until Thanksgiving week.

Shoegal: you rock the step girl! I wonder if you love to dance? It seems you really dig the more complicated dancey step routines. I think I mentioned before that I can never teach more than basic {yawn} step in my classes or people get upset! I also hate it when I am teaching and people can't get it so they give up then they aren't working out and it disrupts the whole flow of the class. I am wondering to myself do I just keep going and hope they get it or do I stop the routine and break it down for them which causes you to lose the class timing, the music rhythm ect... I wonder what Cathe would say?

Shadowpup: I would love to know about that other Plyo by Tony! I think he does his best in that area. I used his material tonight in the class, doing the first 3 rounds of plyo from P90X and they loved it! Also I think it is more cross-gender in a way, meaning men get it, while most men would be intimidated by the step Imax style Cathe workouts...

Michelle: I have to say I am a little jealous of your workouts! You are doing all my favorites! I love KP&C! and those GS just have a special place in my heart. And pesto, yummy, one of my favorite meals is pesto angle hair pasta with chicken breast. I used to make my own pesto, but lately I don't have the time so by the prepared pesto you can buy at the grocery, which means I can't control the ingredients quality or amount of fat.

Janey: hope the kitty did ok and you did ok with the shots!

Hi all, just thought I'd pop in to say good morning - I'm running a bit late today, but I plan to take the afternoon off. It has been a loooong week! For now, a few quick hellos!

Janie, let us know how the shots went. We are all hoping it was fine. And you and I can continue to CathCoach one another :) :) :) :)

Laura, there are apparently two kinds of Horton workouts, with one called P90X plus, that has four dvds. I misremembered one as being an extra plyo - it's a new Kenpo, new Interval style, new full body, and something else. Also, there's the one-on-one Hortons and that may be where I saw chatter about the plyo. These are pretty expensive and so I haven't bought any, hoping to find them used somewhere instead. Congrats on a great class, btw; your students are lucky!

Shoegal, you are a wonder with the choreography! If we went on the road as an act, I could dangle from things and give digging instructions, and you could gracefully zoom around doing difficult and intense Dorothy moves :) :) :) Am crossing my fingers that you have blue skies tomorrow ...

Michelle, great workout! I think I will download that Power Hour :) :) :) And yep, it will be close to 20K bulbs this year... Thanks for the tip on the pesto. My DH makes it too, but never freezes it so we only get fresh during summers. We'll add that idea to next year! Hope you're getting a break from work today. Know what you mean about those all day meetings. Draining.

Oh, quick workout update, I did Slow and Heavy biceps/triceps last night. Janie, I almost did it awhile back and you warned me about the weights ... so finally I've gotten to it. Really liked it! It is much, much harder with those slow moves, and it is enough different from STS and my others that I got quite a workout in less than an hour. Very nice to be challenged. Now I am motivated to check out the rest of the splits for SH.

Well - you will all be pleased to know that the BONFIRE is on. So now I get to stop talking and worrying about it. I'm sure all of you are glad too. Now I get to worry about all the things I need to do!!! Weather on Saturday: will rain some - but not all day. DH is still all worried about mud but has some plans to manage it.

We have a ladybug infestation - and bombed the house. DH can't stand it - and although I don't have an aversion to ladybugs - seeing a whole mess of them at one time, well - also kind of freaks me out. We also had a frost so all of our cannas crapped out and need to be chopped down and taken out. That won't happen this weekend - but having a bunch of dead plants around sure makes for such a lovely party. ;)

Took the boat out on the lake for what looks to be the final time this season. That was fun - but it got late and upsetting as it was - I didn't manage to workout. I'm worried about that - I don't like missing and I'm making mini plans in my head to get that in. Frankly I was having a fabulous time on that Amy Bento Workout and want to get back to it.

Michelle - glad your back is better. I've never done K,P&C - well, I don't even have this one - I have avoided it but I have always wanted the other workout on the DVD - the Leaner Legs - I think it is. Now with the downloads - I'm thinking of buying it. I read the thing about downloads being the "wave of the future" I have to admit it makes sense. I'm slow to jump on the technology bandwagon though. I'm scared that I wouldn't be able to see it on the tv. Once they come with a tv that can download the content then I think I'll be more interested.

Janie - I'm impressed that the cat wouldn't feel the shot - doesn't hurt them? You know - when I would take Lum for vaccinations he would never wince or anything when he got them. Where do you give the shots??? I hope Winkle is feeling better - I know with you on the job I shouldn't even worry.

Shadowpup: Posted just as you did - or a little after yesterday. You know - when you have that much enthusiasm for planting bulbs - well, I think it is exactly the thing you should be doing. It seems to give you so much joy - and a good workout - so bring on the bulbs!!! I'm sure Spring at your place is going to be incredible.

Laura - I also liked when a guy would come to class - I also enjoyed it if he couldn't keep up. It is nice to get good feedback from your students - I always wanted to make up a sheet to get some feedback and alter the class so that everyone can enjoy it. I hear you about the choreography - it is a problem. I've had some students bored - and others frustrated - having them both in class is difficult and is worse if somebody just about quits. You can't stop to teach just them - but if you pull them aside after class to go over something - that might work.

I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!!:D

Winkles shots are going very well. If he feels them, he's not making it known. He is such a great trooper. I give him the shot under the skin part of the scruff. It's really easy to do, and he sits for it just fine. Whew!:D

Have to add, that I'll be doing a cardio today, but just don't know what yet.

Laura, Sounds like your classes are such a success. I'm impressed with the guy, I hope he comes for more too.

Deborah, I love the phrase CathCoach. What a hoot.:D Oh yes, you will love all of SH DVD's, they are all challenging. Talk about your body getting confused!;)

Shoegal, Have a great Bonfire! Glad you guys are doing it. Keep us posted on how it went, K? Sometimes with all our plans, things just don't workout as they should. Don't worry about the missed workout. Just make it a rest day. Amy is great, enjoy.

Have a great weekend everyone, I'll be checking in to see how things are going.

Janie

Good morning--busy day yesterday and didn't get a chance to post. Sister and I are finishing the 3rd week of Cathe's April 2009 rotation: yesterday was GS Chest and Triceps. Drop set push-ups are always a killer. No great changes on my weights. I'm always happy to get through this workout. It is tough. But as I'm doing those 20 pound db chest presses, I'm always a little amazed that my arms are lifting that much weight in each hand.

Shadowpup: I love those S&H workouts. And you will enjoy PowerHour. This transition to downloading workouts is making me think I might have to get one of those ipod touches. I looked at them earlier in the year. Wonder if they have come down in price any?

Shoegal: the weather is looking like it will be okay for your party tonight. We've just gotten an occasional sprinkle here in Southern Maryland this morning, although I think we got some good rain at home last night. I have a feeling that your party is going to be fantastic.

Janie: happy to hear things are good with your meowy. You will get to be a pro at giving him this shots. My sister did that with her cat, Noodles, for quite a few years. I live the Step Heat workout--that's on the Classics if I remember correctly. Those workouts are not as intense but they give you a good cardio workout all the same. Are you home alone right now? I remember you saying that Joey was off on an excursion for a while. What kind of crazy things do you do while he is away?

Laura: Years ago when I belonged to a gym and went to aerobics religiously, we had a couple of men who came to the class that I went to. Most men seem to shy away from aerobics, pilates, yoga, or any type of organized class. I think they're more self conscious than women are about exercising in a group where everyone is doing the same thing. They don't mind being in the weight room working out with lots of people around them but the idea of being in a class is not appealing. Maybe they don't like it when the women seem to be doing better than they are in the class? They just don't realize that we all have that first time challenge to get going and learn routines--they just weren't there to see it. Interesting.

Shadowpup/Laura: actually aren't there 3 Horton P90 series? The original P90, P90X, and the P90X-plus?

Shoegal: Ladybugs. Like them outside--not so much in my house. We had a problem with ladybugs in the spring a few years running. Our pest control person told us that in Va, they are not allowed to spray to control ladybugs. Isn't that weird. He told us that the best thing we could do to control them was to go ahead and cut on the air-conditioning because that would keep the eggs from hatching. Okay. So, that's what we did. It worked. We don't have the ladybug problem anymore. I've never heard of someone having a problem in the fall. Weird.

Hope everyone enjoys their Saturday.

Good morning! It's a beautiful day today, slightly chilly with very little wind, and the colors are turning all golden and red; a lovely fall day before the winter hits. Last night we had large quantities of rain and wind, and yesterday was rainy too; it's nice to have the good weather on the weekend. Did Slow Heavy Chest/Back last night, and I liked that one just as much as SH bis and tris. I picked it because the rain kept me from planting, and that meant my back was relatively rested. My goodness, I had quite a quiver going all over those muscles! I am not really sore today. Have to say also that I absolutely loved having my pacemates for SH, for chest especially. I just kept adding on or taking away half pound weights for each set, so that I'd be maximally exhausted. A few times I reached failure at 6, and then I'd remove a half pound per hand for the next ste; a few times I hit 8 and felt I could do one more, and then I'd add a half a pound. My shoulder is doing a slight twinge-thing, which I don't think is related to the workout as much as sleeping on it wrong - so I'll save SH legs/shoulders for another day and perhaps do some cardio today instead.

Shoegal, Oops! I see we did cross on the post. Funny how that happens ... Speaking of weather, how is your weather this morning - the morning of Bonfire Day? I hope you and DH are both at the stage where you can relax and enjoy what's going to be a fun party. Hopefully it will be a nice day - and you will have all kinds of interesting stories! We've never had ladybugs in the house. Some years, I order 'extras' for the garden, and they come in a massive sack of ladybugs. A bunch in one place is impressive but not fun for indoors. Fall parties are chancier than summer, aren't they!

Michelle, you and Sis are doing great with the workouts! Have to love the GS series. And yes, I can hardly wait to try PowerHour too!. For some reason that one is not downloading well. BTW, the kids are on your side - they would like more attention, and to be the ones I talk about rather than all those bulbs. They will get their wish soon. Planting is nearly over, and just in time. Our weather is turning cold, and the kids are getting very furry. And muddy ... I've heard of the P90 series (the first one?), but have never tried it. P90X seems to be the favorite; the extra dvds are in a small (expensive) little set that does not seem to show up used very often on ebay. There is that fit in ten (or something like that) series too, and other things he's done. Seems quite prolific.

Janie, congratulations on getting those shots done! Isn't it nice to know for yourself that Winkle doesn't mind having them? He may get to enjoy the extra-special attention, like Picante and his grain-apple-antibiotic treat. BTW, hope you do something extra-special for yourself today. I'd guess it has been stressful, worrying about Winkle, and you deserve a break! That's your personal CathCoach talking!

Laura, hope you've got a great weekend planned!

I didn't have a chance to workout or post yesterday! Oh well I will make it my rest day for the week, I am still having trouble working out my own workout schedule, somedays it seems it is all I do and others I can't fit it in. Hopefully it balances out somehow. I know it is important to have one day a week of rest, so it is good that sometimes my schedule forces me to take one. To be honest I don't know if I would otherwise.

I just finished Kenpo, a form of Martial Arts/kickboxing. It is a fun workout. I seem to be sweating more each time I do it so I guess I am working harder than the first few times. Tony's cardio are growing on me for sure. I know about the P90, which is easier than the P90X, but don't know about the P90X plus. I saw something about it on Amazon, but didn't really investigate it. I may even have that one, because it comes with two bonus workouts, so maybe that is the 'plus'? I have read about his one on one from time to time on the Cathe forums and people really seem to like them. Maybe they will show up on ebay one day. But I am not making anymore fitness purchases this year. (well maybe one...Cathe's Cross Train Xpress.)

Shoegal: hope you have a great party tonight! It does seem strange to have Ladybugs in the fall. I love ladybugs and they are good for the environment, keeping pests under control, but I have come across masses of them before in AZ and it is sort of creepy to see so many of them at once. Any kind of bug in mass is not something I enjoy!

Michelle: Yep, GS C&T is a killer for me as well! Love it though! Good job on those 20lbs!! It is amazing how strong we are isn't it? It is rare to get men in a group class. I think they are intimidated by flexibility and coordination. Strength though, in general, they have us beat! There were only 2 others in my class that night, two woman who are in there very late 40's and they so out did this 20+ something guy in cardiovascular fitness, endurance, strength, it was cool to witness them! Not in all cases but it does seem that woman take better care of their health and fitness than men do as they age. Younger men I see at the gym all the time, 16-25 yrs, but then they disappear and you see more woman 25+ at the gym....

Shadowpup: well now you and Michelle are making me curious about the slow and Heavy. It seems to be one of Michelle's favorites. Ok ok no more purchases! I won' even have time to do it until 9 months from now anyway and who knows what might come out on the market in that time frame. Maybe after my 6 month rotation of STS & Shock Cardio I will do a rotation of Insanity and slow and heavy....sounds intriguing!

Going to hop in the shower and then heading to the flat lands to go to a pumpkin patch and then a birthday party. I have a friend coming up tomorrow to carve pumpkins with the girls and I...

Laura: I'm not going to helpful on dissuading you from purchasing Cross Train Express or S&H. But--maybe you should put those on your Christmas list for your DH and other family members. When I'm doing GS, I love that one. And when I'm doing S&H, I love that one too. If someone asked me which one is better, I'm not sure I could choose. They are both really, really good. Maybe the slight advantage on slow and heavy is that Cathe really concentrates on form because you are going slow. The form tips that Cathe provides on weight work in S&H have really helped me with my other workouts.

~michelle

Michelle, When workouts are done consistently, you do notice the benefits. Congratulations, it's well deserved! I think I already am a pro. He just sits there and takes it. Not one flinch. That goodness. I love the Classics too, I think right now they were made just for me. LOL:D Joey should be home in a couple of weeks or so. I usually take this opportunity to clean and throw out stuff. He is the kind that hordes things, I'm the type that likes space. Most of the time I get away with it. LOL:rolleyes:
Deborah, I told you, you would like S&H. Challenging, but oh so well worth it! I use my plate mates all the time and in the same way. What did people do without them, I wonder? Lol Enjoy your cardio today.;) I think I will do something special. I'm going to go to Walmart and get Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Platinum. Thanks CathCoach!

Laura, Glad no matter how you are taking a rest day, that you do it. It's more beneficial than you think. I love Kempo. If you get Cathe's Cross Train Xpress, you will not regret it. Wise choice. Love it, Love it!

I was going to take today off as well, but I did just now finish Step Heat again, all the way through it. Had to finish it at least once, so, until the next time. Whew!

Janie

Uh-Oh Janie--you and I must be distantly related.;) My Joe is a pack-rat too. How funnyh. Every once in a while when he is not looking I lighten up one of his piles of stuff. I think he knows that if he went on a trip without me, he'd come home to way less stuff.
~michelle

Shoegal, I hope the bonfire is going well and you're having a great time about now!

Laura, Brilliant suggestion! Slow and Heavy plus Insanity! Alternating with weeks of TRX/spiderwoman and Cardio Coach, perhaps, since I have travel coming up. But as to CTX etc, I'm not really a good person to talk anyone out of a workout! And I love Meaner Legs on CTX. Used to be my favorite leg strength training exercise, but that was before STS. Gym Style Legs was a close second. Maybe Shoegal will can talk you down ... or maybe we all need a thread for recovering video-purchasers!!! personally I don't think I am ready to recover from that particular affliction yet :) Still, am trying to remind myself that the last time I bought too many at once I didn't get to them for months, and family often does appreciate having a specific "I would like this for Christmas" item. BTW, pumpkins sound fun! We didn't plant pumpkins this year, though it may be the only squash we didn't plant!

Michelle, I'm convinced. In your honor I have put both Power Hour and the original Muscle Max on my to-do list also, and will add that to the SH/Insanity TRX/CC rotation. This may well take me through November. Speaking of November, I'm putting together a trip that will have me in DC and also Chicago about the third week ... dates should solidify soon. Maybe we can try for lunch again?

Janie, I am going back and forth on the cardio right now. I came in this midfternoon for lunch, and sat down for a short rest ... and woke up an hour before dusk. This sounds like a call for help, and not too subtle a one at that! Rollercoaster Tycoon sounds like great fun. Did you ever get the Railway version? I had that - oh, quite awhile ago. Loved setting it up and letting it run for hours, to generate huge cities' worth of people.

And I am down to less than one hundred bulbs! That's nothing. Relatively speaking :D:D:D If the weather is halfway decent, I'll finish up Super Bulb Max rotation extraordinaire tomorrow. If it hadn't been for that nap I'd be done now ...

I'm being really lazy again. Walking Ripken and cleaning the inside of the boat is about as active as I want to be today. The last week of Cathe's April 2009 rotation looks like a challenge--so I'm gearing up for that this week.

Shadowpup: less than 100 bulbs? Shoot--you should have those in the ground in no time flat. Third week of November sounds good. I believe that Thursday of that week is already a full day for me, but the rest of the week is pretty open.

~michelle

Michelle, I've noticed we do have a lot in common. ;)

Deborah, Oh My! You poor woman! You finally wore yourself out. Your body is trying to tell you something for sure. Slow down! Were you able to finish the last plantings of bulbs? Poor thing.:) I've never heard the railway version of Rollercoaster Tycoon. Hmmmm, now I'm curious and will look it up on the internet. I'v heard of Sims City and taking control of large populations, but not railroad.

Michelle, Glad to see ya giving your body a rest before the last week of Cathe's rotation. Sounds like you may need it.;)

I plan on doing Core Rhythms Samba Fusion today. Almost an hour long.

See ya later,

Anyone here from IronLady?

Janie

All, I'm very pleased to report that ALL OF THE BULBS are in the ground! And there was a Bonus Burn. What would even Super Bulb Max be without a bonus burn??? Anyway, the main circuit/grand total in bulbs is 19907. It is probably a little sick, but part of me wants to go out and buy 93 more items just to cross 20k. However, we could always count the bonus burn, right? I finished that this mornign too: well over hundred or so rhizomes (iris) - I had purchased 90 small ones at a closeout, and the shipper popped in a bunch of tiny unlabeled extras as a good customer reward, or to keep from throwing out end of season leftovers; eight peony "eyes" that needed to be put into the ground; and six blackberries. The iris, peony, and blackberries I'd stashed for fall planting and sort of forgot (they were in very good shape anyway, thank goodness).:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: But it is all done now :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Janie

Janie, you're right! I was pushing a little too close to the edge! I gave myself a rest day yesterday, slept in a little this morning, and then slowly polished off the last bit. Now all I'm going to do are puttering-chores, indoors and out, and perhaps take one of the kids out for a ride. In the morning I'm travelling again ... just four days. BTW, what is Core Rhythm Samba Fusion? Sounds fun (in the abstract, my two left feet probably aren't up to it).

Michelle, glad to hear that particular week is a possibility. I'll check on days, arrival times, and email you. And there's nothing wrong with taking a light day or two to get ready for those heavy duty workouts! It will give you more energy for them.

Shoegal, hope all went well yesterday!

Laura, how is the pumpkin carving going?

Ironlady, best wishes!

Well, reading the posts made me feel better! I am feeling lazy today as well...and unproductive. Glad to not be alone in that, it makes me feel less guilty.;)

I should be doing Legs & back but haven't motivated so far. I have started a fire in the yurt, but it still isn't really warm enough yet. It is snowing here today. We are going to a dinner party so I may not get that workout in, but thought I would check in.

I posted pictures of the pumpkin patch on Facebook if ya'll want to check them out, just send me a friend request Laura DuBose.

Michelle: that is a good idea about xmas presents....

Shadowpup: sounds like you needed that rest! I am not surprised with all those bulbs! Congrats on a job well done.

Janie: no word from any lurkers in a long time huh? I wonder why? have fun clearing your space!

Ok I did it! Yea!:D It feels good to do it even though I didn't want to do it.

Shoegal: back to your post from awhile ago about pilates. The reformer is one of the essential pieces of pilates equipment. It is one of the most commonly used ones, and one of my favorites. I wouldn't recommend buying a home reformer and/or DVD unless you have had privates and classes for sometime before hand. I do highly recommend you checking out the studio for classes. I think you could really benefit from Pilates considering your back problems. I used to have chronic back pain from a bad accident and pilates is the only thing that keeps me pain free.:)

Popping in to say hello.

Bonfire report: Saturday turned out to be a dreary day - but it really didn't rain too too much and once it was dark it didn't matter anymore. It sprinkled maybe twice then the sky became crystal clear - not one cloud - beautiful. Bonfire was fine - all I have to say is that it was a hell of a lot of work!! My DH and I were cleaning up until 2:30am once it ended then we just fell into bed. I laid there thinking - Why would I ever do this again? One thing that irritates me is that I invited all these people. (Just let me rant here so I can get this off my chest.) I asked them to RSVP so I'd have some indication of how many were coming. Some didn't bother to call but also didn't bother to come - some RSVP'd but said something like "I'll try to make it" - like they were doing me some kind of favor. I got so much of that - I'll see if I can get there kind of business - I began to feel as if the invitation was almost as if I was begging them to come. Why does it feel like I have to convince people to come spend a pleasant evening? Actually - we had a lovely time - and ok - I'll shut up now. But thanks girls for wishing that I had a nice day - I really appreciate it.

I feel a little overwhelmed with how many different workout videos there are out there sometimes. There are so many different instructors and I've just sampled the tip of the iceberg - don't you feel like you are missing out on something great? There is just too much out there - and we have limited resources. I hear a lot about CardioBarre and the Fluidity Bar - Slim in Six, Physique 57, CLX . . . doesn't it make your head spin? Tracy Long came out with new ones - Nancy Tucker has new workouts coming out - anybody hear about that?

Laura - I agree - I am more and more intrigued with Pilates and I think a trip to a studio would be a nice experience. I'd love to have some instruction on the Reformer - and I'd love to have something to relieve some of the back pain that I feel nearly every day. I will look into that - any dvds that you think would be worthwhile to look into??? Glad you got your workout in - it always feel wonderful to complete something you were putting off. We all feel a little lazy from time to time.

Shadowpup - congrats on completing your Super Bulb Max Rotation. - what an accomplishment!!!

I'll be back to finish my post in a bit - gotta go for now.
