Hi everyone! I have been kind of in a lazy slump lately!
Ended up taking yesterday off entirely, and had a great time at two different BBQ's although I ate and drank way to much! Sunday I was also feeling lazy and I had Imax2 on the calendar, I decided to do my elliptical instead as I didn't feel up to Imax2 and the elliptical has been gathering dust for months now! I popped in a movie and ended up doing an hour on it, I had forgotten how hard that actually is to do the elliptical. I have some programs on there that really keep you moving if you follow it.
Today was my pilates class, and then a short 3 mile hike with Maggie before getting the girls. Better than nothing but certainly not INSANITY!!
Shadowpup: wow that really does sound insane! It is pretty inspiring that you are doing so well with it. And those weights on your legs are AWESOME! YOU GO GIRL! Do you use a squat rack or a weighted vest to get those numbers so high?
Shoegal: I know exactly how you feel about settling into a routine even if the things you are doing are fun things. I am in the same boat. My girls evens said to me not to long ago, "You know mom, you don't have to say yes to everything you are invited to do!" Wise advise from little mouths indeed!
Michelle: Oh dear I am so sorry about your DH's mishap! Is he a good patient? I hope he recovers soon and gets the care he needs. That is to bad! Hang in there with him, is it his dominant hand that is hurt? Well make sure you take care of yourself as well. To bad you and Shadowpup are going to miss each other this time around, but maybe there will be another chance for you guys to get together.
Janey: did you enjoy your time off and your visit with Sid? How did the turkey turn out? Sounds yummy!! I still need to get better about my Clean Eating aspirations, did terrible this weekend, hopefully I will get this nailed down!
