Hi guys, here's a breakdown of LBP.
Same count as the Upper Body, 12-10-8-10-12 reps. All barbell work.

warm up (really active!)

leg presses (Cathe used 25-30-35-30-25#bb)

static lunges (Cathe used 30-35-40-35-30#bb)

squats/plie squats super set (Cathe used 30-35-40-35-30#bb)

deadlifts (Cathe used 30-35-40-35-30#bb)

calf raises (done with using the lid of the mini step and your barbell for support)

legs floorwork/abs (using stability ball, Brenda shows modifications for no ball)

So how does it work in terms of changing weights during the pyramid...? Do they have 3 loaded barbells, or are there changes between each set? How about rests?

Sorry to be asking so many questions...I'm (im)patiently waiting for my DVD's!!

DONNA,
Please tell us how it works with the changing of the weights. I hate changing the weight on my barbell and just can't imagine doing it so often for this tape. Could dumbbells be substituted? Please tell!!

Plate changes....................

They change their barbells right then. It reminded me of how fast a pit crew moves when changing tires during a race! I kept thinking, "well, MAYBE I can move that fast?" But I have a feeling I'll have to hit the pause once or twice, it seemed so quick, but they do it right there in your face, so I guess it can be done!

I'm wondering this too............

I figure my options are either to sub in dumbbells sometimes or have a 2nd barbell loaded and ready at least for the middle set. I too don't like changing plates often which was why I got a curl bar for upper body work a long time ago, but the dips in it make it hard to put a bar pad over and call me a "tender foot" but I can't handle the bar resting across my shoulders without it!

I wouldn't mind having another barbell, but right now I'm not trying to spend another penny until the mini step hits! :)
